Sezz Paris  

The level of service and the design of the rooms were excellent.

The service was excellent and the staff there made us feel like nothing was too much trouble.

I was quite disappointed with the size of the rooms. I booked a Deluxe double room but do not feel the photos on the website acurately reflect the room size or standards (there are no deluxe doubles or junior suites with a view over the Seine). Also, considering the high rate per night, there are no complimentary extras thrown in (such as breakfast, tea/coffe in the room, complimentary bottle of wine in the room on arrival etc) to make the stay more enjoyable. Finally, the hotel advertises a luxury Verve Cliquot champagne bar but this wasn't really a bar and was extremely disappointing.

The design of the hotel especially the room. Staff are friendly, able to speak English. I would like to highlight one staff named Ruben (not sure about the spelling), he is very kind and helpful.

The room is a bit small, but still acceptable considering the space available in Paris.

We didn't like much about the Sezz. The hotel is located in a beautiful area with the only worthwhile attraction, the Eiffel Tower. The one-on- one concierge was a bit disarming. There is no real lobby to speak of and 1 to 3 people are Dow staid in the front office. There was 1 particular young man who was very helpful but the rest, including our concierge, knew nothing. Even when I called downstairs to try tonmake a local call, they didn't know how the phone operates and told me to come downstairs. After trying several times, the phone locked and shut off for good. The tv is tiny and the free movies meant going downstairs and perusing through their CDs.. We didn't even find out till we checked out. See rest below

See above. Glass shower doors, while cool looking, completely impractical with a room of 3 ppl - mom and 2 teenage daughters. Other boutique hotels have glass rooms but usually a mechanism "clouds" the glass so you can't see in. We also never saw any other guests except one girl walking into her room smoking, although I don't believe they allowed smoking. All in all, so disappointed. We checked out as soon as possible, which would have been the next day, if the phone worked. Instead we settled for 2 nights. Noreasonto go to this hotel when there are so many other wonderful choices in Paris. Our next hotel was a gem!

it was difficult for me to do the make up in the mirror of the bathroom as the light was not enough and there was not a magnifying mirror!

Beautifully designed with elegant touches and superb decor. Conveniently located in a quiet and upmarket side-road just 5 minutes walk from the Eiffel Tower (though without a view from my room). Staff were multilingual. Spa and hammam were available although didn't get a chance to try these.

The owners make a big deal of not having a fussy reception desk, instead highlighting a "personal" welcome into an open lounge to check in. Unfortunately, this doesn't quite work as the staff didn't acknowledge us when we arrived and there was still no "check in desk" to go to. While the staff were never "rude", they were never quite attentive and even when not desperately busy, it took nearly half an hour for drinks to be served. Breakfast was a simple continental buffet with no hot options. Although there was never anything to complain about, it would have been nice to have recieved a more personal service from a hotel that extolled this as one of its features (and priced accordingly).

L'hôtel pratique sur la cb une pré-autorisation non débloquée en fin de séjour, ce qui a occasionné, après notre départ de l'hôtel, des désagréments durant le reste de notre séjour avec le disponible de la carte . Cette pré-autorisation ne figurait pas dans les conditions explicitement liées à la réservation de la chambre choisie.

sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites personal super service wunderschöne rosen (diese hatte ich vorab per e mail bestellt) luxuriöse atmosphäre tolle lage (schöner spazierweg zum eiffelturm) guter mojito und leckerer champagner es gab keinerlei verständigungsprobleme wir waren 100% zufrieden und hatten einen schönen aufenthalt in paris
