Hôtel Westminster  

We had a very enjoyable stay at the hotel. The room was a little small but the balcony overlooking the beach made up for it. You could lie in bed and admire the view. The staff was friendly and very helpful. It was raining on our first night so we decided to eat dinner in the dining room and really enjoyed the gourmet level of the meal. Loved the fact that they had a satelite that allowed us access to 12 english channels to choose from as usually it is just one english news station. Would definitely recommend a stay at this hotel. Loved the fact that it was an older hotel with all modern ammenities.

The employees, they were great. The bed was really comfortable. The view was amazing (as it was sea facing).

The balcony is more of a big ledge with a puddle :) the tv system is quite poor although the tv itself is very good.

Everything about the hotel was excellent, fantastic view, very friendly and efficient service, very lovely room with a superb bathroom. We spent 3 nights and would give the Westminster 10 out of 10.

The room didn`t correspond photos on the site of hotel. It was very simple, as in 3star hotel.

Lobby is a little tired but the rooms are surprisingly modern and renovated. Other lobby floor rooms are nice or being updated. The staff spoke English very well and remembered us. The dining room was very nice. Louic head waiter was awesome and helpful. I actually accidentally booked at this hotel instead of one by a similar name in Menton so we decided to stay here anyway and were thrilled!!

Only the fact that the lobby creates a first impression that belies how great the hotel is. If they just did a few little things like change the entrance carpet and lighten up the lobby it would be so much better.

Very nice and clean hotel.

The breakfast was not so good. Very litle to choose in - and not very delicate. It was quite expencive - so we was a little disappointed.

Location My room had been refurbished and was of a good standard.

The public areas (lobby, hallways, dining area etc) are all very dated and all need refurbishment and refreshing. The water temperature in the shower fluctuated from very hot to very cold. Internet connection frustratingly slow.

Excellent location. Across road from beach. 10 minute walk to old town. Classy hotel.

Serious street noise problem. Rooms need double glazed windows.

A comfortable elegant hotel in a prime beachside location.

The location- right across the street from the water was excellent and having a glass of wine on the front patio was delightful. The location was also great for walking to the old city, shopping areas, the flower market, the chateau and everything else along the Promenade. Our room was ocean side, and I was pleasantly impressed that there was no street noise at night. The room darkening electric shades helped there. The staff was lovely and we enjoyed our short stay

The room was certainly an adequate size with modern fixtures in the bathroom. However, there were no plugs in the bathroom and the hairdryer was not good (old style on the wall and little power). One smallish mirror over the desk in the bedroom was inconvenient for hair/makeup. Suggestions: a full length mirror on the inside of the closet door, outlets in the bathroom, a room clock

Loved the location and the fact that they gave me a sea-view room. The view was spectacular and the location of the hotel is just great. The decor is perfect as old hotel decors go and I wish I could've stayed there longer. I will visit again and stay here again !!
