Being across from the ocean and also near the old town was very nice The waitress in the bar was very rude but the rest of the staff was excellent and very welcoming. When we complained about the waitress, the hotel apologized and we were happy with their response |

We like the fact that was right in front of the beach. The view was beautiful. The rooms were spacious and beds very confortable and clean. I didnt like the extremely overcharge for phone calls and breakfast. Not worth the price and the rudeness of the people in charge. We just took one day the breakfast and then somewhere else. |

Comfortable room with great bathroom. View of promenade excellent Small balcony. Tea and coffee in the room would be a + Eur 14 for just tea and coffee, a bit steep. |

Our room was beautiful and newly refurbished. The door staff were very helpful. The view from the balcony was as good as it gets. The restaurant and bar especially the breakfast buffet was very overpriced for the range of food on offer. The hotel exterior and interior (apart from our suite) could definately do with a freshen up. The only complaint about our room was the shower water did not drain very well and ended up all over the bathroom floor. Coffee and tea making facilities in the room would be a nice added feature. |

Great location. Polite and helpful staff. With just a splash of renovation [especially carpets and wallpapers] the overall impression would be so much better. |

Convenient location on the Promenade des Anglais, close to beach shops and restaurants. Nice atmosphere in hotel, a bit old fashioned with its own charm but I like that. Helpful, cheerful staff. We were staying for five nights and the room was small for that length of time especially for two people (I have stayed in the hotel before as a solo traveller so I have an idea what the rooms are like and ours was smaller than the normal which was a disappointment as I took my wife for a treat) but of decent quality. |

The situation on the sea, the hotel's design and elegance. No parking options, and none suggested. Internet connection is unreasonably and unnecessarily expensive - hotels of MUCH less quality offer free Internet access. |

the location of the hotel was great, some of the staff was helpful, renovated rooms were nicely decorated the hotel needs a major renovation, at least some paint!!! the service is a service of a 3 star hotel. the breakfast was very basic, I have had better breakfasts in 3 star hotels. the rooms on the first floor were nice, but my parents stayed on the 5th floor, that room was a disaster for a 4 star hotel. |

The friendliness and efficiency of the staff. The service and food at the restaurant was nothing short of exceptional. The sea-view was beautiful and the location was excellent, on the promenade and only a ten minute walk from the old town. |

Very good location on the waterfront and close to town. Nice old-world feel to the hotel. Spacious, clean room. Helpful staff. Enjoyed having cocktails on the veranda overlooking the sea. Would have preferred a comforter/duvet to the blankets on the beds. Beds could be more comfortable. |

Not much The noise in the room from road traffic was so bad we had to move rooms to a smaller dirtier shabbier room at 2am in the morning. Still carged €450 per night. It was terrible value and this is definetly not a 4 star hotel - it would struggle to get 3 stars. I would absolutely never stay in that hotel again |
