Perhaps it's more the city of Nice that I enjoyed, but coming back to the Windsor was always welcoming. The staff were always amenable, yet unobtrusive. I shall return during peak season to enjoy its garden. The hotel's gratis internet computer had a sticking space bar. Breakfast was overpriced for what's offered, so I simply used the mini-bar for fruits and juices, etc., which were available in small markets on almost every street corner. Probably time to begin thinking of changing the mattresses; they were a bit soft, but you can't please everyone. Lastly, one less English news channel and just one similar to National Geographic or Discovery. (If you're of the mind to just veg in the room one day, you know, and don't want to watch what's going on in the world.) |

I liked the garden with the Morton Bay Fig Tree which reminded me of home although the staff were unaware it was an Australian tree! |

Apart from points ticked on question 2. Hotel staff were very attentive which, unfortunately, was not something we encountered much in other services in Nice. We stay in a lot of hotels in France and the individuality of the decor was a welcome change. The garden was wonderful. Also enjoyed making use of the gym. Not a major complaint but given the hotel was in an ideal situation for businesspeople the breakfasts were served rather late.Although it said breakfasts would be served from 6.45 they were in fact provided rmuch later It would have been helpful to be able to ask for an earlier breakfast. Meals were very good but perhaps more variation was needed in the menu. |

The hotel staff are outstanding; ready to serve, very helpful, and international. The rooms are quite unique in their artistic flair, no two are the same, and yet very practical in what they offer. We stayed in one of the larger rooms, so we were quite comfortable and could relax, with high ceilings and a quaint balcony. The smaller rooms are typically European, yet they were very pleasant with the art and eccentricities. Even the restaurant kitchen was very good, with wonderful wait staff and pleasant environment. The hotel location could not have been better - not on the main beach strip so quieter, yet close enough to allow walking everywhere in Nice: might be different in high season. Everything was convenient to location. |

The decor was most attractive, and it was nice to have space in a city centre hotel. Very comfortable bed. At 12 euros the breakfast was expensive and certainly not worth that money. Fresh orange juice, coffee and croissant for 5 euros would have been more acceptable. |

It was a very comfortable experience, I particularly liked the hammam It was difficult to know what to do at the hammam (eg there was no shower upstairs). It would've been good to have the set up explained to us |

1. Fine rooms lovely helpful staff ( except for 1 night receptionist male who was quite rude and unhelpful) Nice garden. 2.veryaccessable to sea, restaurants and shops. 3. Had dinner on first night which was very good 1. Not much information given on what to do in Nice or good restaurants to eat in despite asking 2. No warning about the mosquitoes in the garden - got bitten about 10 times during dinner on first night - very uncomfortable for duration of stay |

The location was good, only two blocks away from Rue Francais - the main cafe/restaurant strip and four blocks from Rue Anglais. It is also walking distance to the train station. As I rely on the internet quite heavily whilst away for business, hotel bookings, keeping in touch with family, etc - I booked this hotel because it offered free Wifi - It was the most frustrating experience! When it did work, it was extremely slow. And the staff were not helpful on this score. |

At last a good hotel experience in Nice; the individual room designs and the general decor were so refreshing compared to the usual standard. Not to mention the garden area which was a haven of relaxation in the city. Close to everything, free & fast WI-FI, clean and nice staff. Really memorable. Don't expect too much from the pool area but you probably won't care. |

Well positioned. Liked the decor. Garden breakfast good but couldn't sort out the boiled egg thingy. Would stay at the hotel again. Bus 97 does the airport run; get it on the Promenade des Anglais. Matisse museum closed Tuesdays; great cafe below the nearby hotel that Queen Vic stayed at. |

Location to beaches, friendly staff, good room meal service. Air conditioning not working properly, bedding average and bath/shower drain needed unclogging ( which was attended to promptly.) |

A lovely boutique hotel, La Malmaison is ideally located in a residential area at the heart of Nice, just a few minutes from the famous Promenade des Anglais. |
The 4-star Hotel Four Points by Sheraton Elysée Palace has an ideal position in a quiet street right by the Promenade des Anglais the Baie des Anges. |
In the heart of Nice, near the Promenade des Anglais, the Villa Victoria is an Art Deco style period building a short walk from the pedestrian area of Old Town. |
Situated in the heart of Nice, the hotel was renovated and it welcomes you in the quiet and attractive atmosphere of a pedestrianised avenue. |
