Hotel Aguado  

The incredibly friendly and helpful staff, comfortable surroundings & room made our stay an extremely pleasant one. We will definitely use this hotel in the future.

The hotel reception staff are excellent - thoroughly helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the view over the front superb. The hotel is centrally positioned within immediate reach of excellent restaurants, shopping and the market. We have stayed at the Aguado for many years and know the family.

Simply location

Having booked a double room for one adult and two children and been told online that only one room was available, I was surprised to be informed on our arrival that the room only had a double bed but other rooms were avalable for an additional 50 euroes. Paying the additional charge we then found the room provided only had a double bed with bed setee.which I had to make down. The bathroom facilities were poor equipped with only two saches of shower gell and small towels for two. Havinfg paid an additional 50 euroes I would ghave thought one additional towel a and shower gel for three would have been provided.

The sheets were not as clean as I expected but the rest was excellent

Central to main shopping area and the beach and promenade.Close to ferry bus terminal. Staff very friendly and helpful.Room clean and comfortable. Breakfast staff friendly.

It was frustrating that the one night we never visited a bar,we fancied a 'night-cap' before going to our room. There was one other couple in the bar waiting for service. The young man who was hoping to serve us all was having to also book in new guests and answer queries. It took ages to get a drink! As he had to keep returning to the front desk .Better not to open the bar than not offer a good service, and we all would have gone to the little bar on the corner!

Room was excellent, well furnished, large, very clean. Staff attentive, all plusses as far as I am concerned

Basic hotel situated on the boulevard and close to city centre. No airconditioning but otherwise functional.

above the arcades seems nice , but is the noisiest location possible with traffic and people. Staff either to service oriented or very rude.

The staff are always welcoming and there are never any language difficulties. We have been visiting over a period of ten years or more - that speaks for itself.

Its a small hotel and there are no extras - not a criticism just a point to note

Le côté ordinaire de la chambre et surtout le bruit incessant de l'ascenseur et de l'ouverture et de la fermeture de ses portes, la chambre 500 étant contigue à la cage de cet ascenseur elle devrait plutôt être attribuée à une lingerie.Quand nous avons réservé à l'avance sur internet c'était soit-disant la seule chambre disponible et il nous a était dit ensuite que nous aurions dû demander une autre chambre... Petit déjeuner passable : thé Lipton détrempé, confitures insipides, pain décongelé... Ce n'est pas un hôtel *** que je recommanderai à des amis.

Chambre tres mal insonorisee, en particulier avec la chambre du dessus. Le moindre mouvement etait entendu! Salle de bain des annees 60
