Hotel Aguado  

The staff were welcoming and helpful and spoke English. They provide a good breakfast and it is in a central location to Dieppe with restaurants and shopping within 5 minutes or so walk.

We paid double what we paid two years ago and whilst we were there they were advertising a room like the one we had for half the price we paid. The hotel does not provide lunch or dinner and although there is a bar there did not appear to be anyone serving behind it. At breakfast time there wasn't anyone there looking after things (E.G. when the water in the kettle had run out) or to ask for assistance (I had to go down one and a half floors, I think it was) to the reception desk more than once to ask for help or information.

The hotel is in excellent location, right in the town with either channel view or a view towards the town. Although no restaurant, plenty of places to eat very nearby. Staff very friendly andf helpful and opposite the tourist office with plenty of timetables available (as we came over as foot passengers on the Newhaven-Dieppe ferry - so no car).

The hotel lift had a problem so we were immediately moved from the 5th floor to the 1st floor, which was fine. My only other suggestion is that perhaps there should have been a tea/coffee making facility in the room, as that may make it a bit more convenient. But having said that, the staff were more than happy to send a tray up to the room.

The incredibly friendly and helpful staff, comfortable surroundings & room made our stay an extremely pleasant one. We will definitely use this hotel in the future.

Location, super room

The only downside was the noise outside at night/early hours of morning, but I suppose to be exown centre hotel.,

Its view, the aspect and atmosphere of the rooms.

The sheets were not as clean as I expected but the rest was excellent

Central to main shopping area and the beach and promenade.Close to ferry bus terminal. Staff very friendly and helpful.Room clean and comfortable. Breakfast staff friendly.

It was frustrating that the one night we never visited a bar,we fancied a 'night-cap' before going to our room. There was one other couple in the bar waiting for service. The young man who was hoping to serve us all was having to also book in new guests and answer queries. It took ages to get a drink! As he had to keep returning to the front desk .Better not to open the bar than not offer a good service, and we all would have gone to the little bar on the corner!

Breakfast it was poor...

Basic hotel situated on the boulevard and close to city centre. No airconditioning but otherwise functional.

above the arcades seems nice , but is the noisiest location possible with traffic and people. Staff either to service oriented or very rude.

Situation idéale : bord de mer et centre ville - proche port et château bon confort : bonne literie et assez bien insonorisé

Le petit déjeuner : ne vaut vraiment pas le prix payé (10€) - baguettes et viennoiseries industrielles, réchauffées pour les secondes - idem pour le jambon ... café médiocre quant à la vue sur la mer, on peut s'en passer ... trop de voitures et de béton devant !

Tout simplement parfait! Exellent accueil, chambre impeccable avec vue donnant sur la ville, petit déjeuner servit en chambre pile à l'heure. Insonorisation parfaite! Localisation idéale! Je reviendrai!

L'accueil, l'espace,le petit dejeuner continental sous forme de buffet avec viennoiseries à volonté.

L'absence de balayette dans les toilettes, les toilettes non séparées de la salle de bain.

Le très bon accueil et la situation en front de mer.

La salle de bain très vieillotte pour un hôtel 3*** (pas de baignoire, douche très étroite, faïence du lavabo fissurée ...)
