The Hotel Alexandra is a lovely small hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful.The breakfast is plentiful with lots of variety, i.e. croissants,toast, jams, cheese, yoghurts, juice and coffee or tea. There is a hotel car park which is very welcome as the hotel is in the middle of town.Rooms are well equipped and beds very comfortable. We would definitely recommend this hotel.In our opinion worthy of three stars.

Not alot to like. Run down hotel, water poured through ceiling in reception for whole of stay, room was very old and shabby, whole place had a poor quality feel and yeu get to run the gauntlet of the 'ladies of the evening' that seem to work prolifically in the immediate area.

Friendly, helpful staff. Clean, comfortable room. Adequate breakfast. Reliable WiFi connection in the room (C. 2Mbps). Ideally situated for main shops and restaurants. Free on-street parking available in the residential area a few minutes' walk up the hill. Our first time here but would definitely stay again.

Hotel Alexandra, although a little dated, is a neat, clean & tidy small hotel, just a few hundred yards from the city centre. Upon our arrival the staff made us feel immediately welcome and were very freindly. It has it's own private underground carpark just a few streets away, within easy walking distance.

I thought the staff were extremely helpful and spoke excellent English. The rooms were basic but comfortable and very warm when we realised we just had to turn the radiator up. I thought it was very good value for money. It is situated very near to the sea and the shops The hotel was not manned at night. I am not sure what you would do if you had a problem.

The hotel is located close to the quayside and also the centre of the town. There is plenty of on-street oparking available that is free after 6.30pm and before 8.30am. Lots of bars and restaurants within a few hundred metres. Hotel is well-presented and clean and my receptionist was friendly and cheerful. There is no evening restaurant, but there is a good breakfast service. If you want gym facilities and a pool, fine- go and pay lots more elsewhere. This is a classic no-frills, suitably priced, clean hotel. It is no more than 30 minutes away from Eurotunnel. An ideal hotel for a quick break from the UK when you want a little bit of France without driving for hours and hours into the interior.

They staff made every effort to make us feel welcome and nothing was too much bother. It was a nice quiet hotel - good if you need to get kids to bed. The rooms were spacious for family rooms and were very clean. The room facilities were adequate Lovely walks around the castle and along the seafront. Parking at the hotel is not easy and you have to make sure that if you park over a weekend that availability to get your car is limited as they can lock them for the weekend

Staff were lovely and the 7Euro buffet breakfast was superb. Rooms were basic but very clean and comfortable. Excellent value for money in a superb location right in the heart of Boulogne.

Received info about how to access hotel when reception was closed well ahead of time. Rooms small but very clean. Small but newly appointed bathroom. Wi Fi worked well. Lovely breakfast. Works well as place to stay on shopping trip.
