The hotel was located opposite the train station and near the main thoroughfare. It was a bank holiday so it must have been a lot quieter than normal. Excellent friendly family run Indian restaurant in main thoroughfare. A typical commercial travellers hotel. Very basic. En suite separated by a screen. The toilet has a maccerator which is noisy but you can sit and look out of the window down to the station across the road. Maintenance lacking - no plug for washbasin, shower holder loose, loose electric socket (we managed to fuse the entire 2nd floor) Parking meters outside except for bank holidays and w/e.

Perfect location right next to the station. Really friendly staff that spoke fine English, and were happy to let me practice my (poor) French with them. Good value. Good sized rooms, especially for the price. Comfy bed. Fairly basic facilities, quite outdated inside.

Very close to the city centre. Nice and friendly staff, though not all of them spoke English (especially night staff). The room was not very comfortable. No shelves for personal items or clothes. The toilet in the corridor was always smelly. Although not very expensive, but for that money you could have a much better room in some other countries (Malta, Portugal, Spain, Italy etc).

Value When I booked the hotel in april I was quoted 108 for basic economic room for 3 nights.i gave my credit card details to secure the resevation.when I checked in the person at reception told me I had paid in full.however,he gave me no receipt.when I was checking out the person on reception told me I had not paid for my last night and he took payment off me.he then gave me a hand written receipt for 117 which is more than the agreed price.now I don't know if I have paid for an extra night until I get my credit card statement in mid-august.also the shared bathroom only had a toilet and no bath/shower facilities.

Location! Overall good for its price. Night guy is not a sharpest one, but fortunately next morning it became possible to pay by mastercard and also change the room to the one we booked, not the cheaper one.

The location is very close to the Train and Bus Stations There is no on suite bathroom, and the toilet is shared between four rooms and it was blocked and in a discusting state! The comunial shower room was unmodernised and grimy. the was no lift and the stairs were steep and poorly lit.

The staff were great. The location was terrific. 24 hour reception excellent. I usually stay in hostels for £5-15 per night. This is the cheapest place I could find in Grenoble itself. At around £30 per night I thought it was well over priced. It seems to have paid for the luxury of a TV I did not require. I would suggest removing the TVs and using the savings on larger, cleaner toilets. While not exactly filthy, the toilet wasn't exactly clean... Plus, My knees touched the door, making it very cramped. The shower was adequate but a slight smell as there was no window. I wouldn't have minded all the "bad" points above if it had been cheaper. It came across as a budget hostel, but charged hotel prices.

Cet hotel est d'un manque d'higienne incroyable: Moisissure dans les chambres, des mouches egalement. Les sanitaires à l'étages sont aussi sales que des toilettes publiques; Sans compter les bruits dans les couloirs impossible de dormir ou de se sentir en sécurité.

Rien ne ma plus dans cette hôtel!!! Il n'y avait pas de prise électrique sauf pour la télé et le lavabo du coup jetai obligé d'aller demander une multi prise à l'accueil qui n'en avait pas mais m'avait prêter celle qui servait à la machine à café... La champ ré était degueulasse.. Les norme électrique ne sont pas respecter car fil électrique qui depasse... à éviter ce taudis!!!

Proximité de la gare et la télévision Les toilettes étaient malpropres et sentaient particulièrement mauvais. La chambre était minuscule et le lavabo éclaboussait sur le lit quand il était ouvert.
