Excellent location, close to public transport, lots of good restaurants and terrasses and of course Gare du Nord and Est. Did not have breakfast in the hotel (14 euros!) but instead went to one of the many places serving breakfast (on a terras) at only 6 euro, very good. Can certainly recommend this hotel.

Very bad and unsafe location; very noisy neighborhood. Staff non- cooperative, disrespectful and plainly rude. My request for a quiet room (for health reasons/disability) was disregarded. The room was very small even by Parisian standards, more like a closet than a room at all. There was no power in wall sockets.

We were a group of nine including young children and most of the group were visiting Paris for the first time. We arrived from London by train and needed a hotel which was in walking distance of the Gare du Nord and transport to the main sites. The hotel was ideally suited and the hop-on hop-off tourist bus actulaly came close and was a good option for those with young children and a stroller. The rest of us just walked to the centre of Paris. By Paris standards the rooms were a reasonable size and not too expensive. We may just have been unlucky but the staff at the breakfast buffet service could have been friendlier. The breakfast buffet was good.

The Reception Hall, clean white towels, clean bedding. The tiny bedrooms, grubby walls, damp patches, mouldy grout, could sit on toilet straight we had to sit side saddle because of the heater, bathroom grubby, nowhere to hang clothes or swing a cat. The area was suspect, lots of people hanging around in small groups.

It is close to the station, clean, familiar to me and very good value. Unlike most reasonably priced hotels in Paris it diesn't feel seedy or dirty!

Good shower. Good but expensive breakfast. Bed was uncomfortable - sagged in the middle. The hotel web site showed a photograph with tea making in the room. This was only available in the best rooms but not made clear on web site.

The staff were fantastic - really friendly and helpful. Made my girlfriend very happy on the morning of her birthday by bringing my order of flowers and chocolates as well as providing some ice and glasses! The room wasn't spotless, but very cosy! We also got a room with a bath (albeit a small one) just as requested! Our telephone was broken, we had to get the handset replaced, but not a major issue as it was done very promptly.

Availability of Muslim restaurant around the hotel. I came with a group of 8 adults and one 6 year old child. We booked 4 twin beds for 2 nights. When we reached the hotel, the male reception staff said we need to book another room because the child is considered 1 person. The child definitely need to be with her parent in a room. The room cost 149 euro per night, 56 euro more than the price we booked at booking.com and we have to pay for 2 night. None of us use that room. Because we prefer to be 2 person in a room. We paid 298 euro for nothing and just because of 1 child. It's very inconsiderate of that male staff. He just don't bother to listen. Very frustrating. To those family who plan to stay here with their child, be prepared.

Got a nice, quiet room at third floor with perfect working air condition system. Short walking distance to the metro at Gare de Est without need for crossing of heavy trafficed avenues. My safe deposit box failed for some spurious reason - stayed locked with no respond to the entered digits. The reseptionist easily corrected it, but it took a while before he could leave his front desk. The room carpet was a bit stained and should be replaced.

Located near railway stations - Nord and East. Metro is near too. Hotel staff speaks English and was helpful. Hotel is located on Indian street, it's quite uncomfortable to walk there at evening - and unsecure, I think. Room wasn't clean enough. Very small window. Air conditioner was broken. One time safe was opened, when we were in city - I can't be sure, who did it. So, I suggest not to leave any values even in safe.

It was very close to the Gare du Nord station and the staff was extremely pleasant. The bathroom on the top floor has slanted walls, so it was a bit weird showering.

Hotel staff were really friendly and helpful - able to converse in English fluently. Room was spacious for a single, very clean. Was allowed to book in early with no problem and stored luggage on departure day for free. Location wasnt very nice - not much to do other than eat or drink. Hotel only sold cold food for room service and had to order main to get drinks or deserts. No English channels on the TV other than CNN. Had to pay for wifi connection.

Staff were accommodating and could converse well in English. Hotel is clean and reasonable price too. The hotel itself is clean but the smell of urine from outside the hotel reaches our room at night time apart from that our stay was great.
