Excellent location when you have to take a train early at Montparnasse station. Really close too from the Gaité subway station, and the charming rue de la Gaité. So excellent situation on every aspects but avoid if you have a lot of luggages or are disabled, because everything is little : from rooms to corridors and elevators..

Helpful and friendly staff, and a nice and clean (if a bit old) room. Excellent location: right next to a metro station and a 5-min walk from a railway station. Also close to several restaurants and cafés. Would definitely recommend! Breakfast not quite worth the price, unless there's some reason you don't want to go looking for another place and are in a hurry (service in the cafés can be a bit slow sometimes). Otherwise no complaints!

The staff were extremely help full especially the reception team both prior to our stay and during. Rooms were decent size with large bathrooms. Great location with metro outside the door and lively rue de gaite adjacent to hotel with large choice of restaurants

Location next to Montpanasse station, and the area generally. We enjoyed the street market. Slightly small rooms and access through small, tight corridoors and stairs.

Third time we have stayed here. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Room was good value for money and the area is excellent to explore Paris with Gaite metro right beside the hotel. The breakfast is good value for money. Loads of good restaurants in the area

The staff were very professional but friendly. The room was very clean and tidy not very large but fine. The breakfast was worth the 8 euros and plenty to eat but would have been nice to have some ham and cheese I would use this hotel again if in the area.

I liked the excellent information we received from the receptionist that greeted us, Carmen. She was very helpful and it was clear she enjoyed her work and it was a pleasure to talk to her. The rest of the staff was also helpful and very polite. Overall it was a pleasant stay, highly recommended if you want to visit Paris. The rooms are pretty small

The close location to Montparnasse Railway station- we had an early morning train to catch, and it was 3 minutes walk from Hotel to Platform.A convenient food store with deliciously fresh fruit, was right outside the Hotel door. Very helpful Hotel Staff- they recommended a delicious Restaurant close by- there were a few to chose from and of various cuisines. 24 hour staffing was reassuring in this busy area.Modern bathroom appreciated. Whilst it was wonderful to be able to open the windows, being on the main street can be noisy- just ask for a back room if you want peace and quiet. As is often the case with older small hotels, the rooms can be compact

Pleasant staff, good cleanliness, excellent location (near pharmacies, supermarkets, restaurants, and the Gaite metro station). The hotel is small due to the narrowness of its building. However, if the traveler intends to spend most of the day walking around the city, such narrowness would be no problem.

The girl at the reception was very kind and professional!!So, it was a great arrival!The rooms are very decent, especially for the price i paid. The location is ideal, next to Montparnasse and metro gaite. The bed is confortable, and the bathroom nicely designed.Great Stay! No Air conditioning!With summer it is becoming essential!As if you open the window, you feel that you are sleeping in the street!!

Good local facilities, supermarket, cafés and a variety of reasonably priced eating places. Within walking distance of the city centre via the Jardin du Luxembourg. Only a short distance from a Metro station.

Excellent location. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Many restaurants and supermarkets (eg. Simply Market, Monoprix) around. Almost opposite Gare Montparnasse and getting to Denfert Rochereau (rer b) on foot is not too difficult with small luggage (about 15 mins). Just beside the metro station Gaite (line 13) which connects to popular tourist destinations eg. Arc de Triomphe, Tour Eiffel with a single change. The room, corridor and elevator were a bit cramped (however, it can be considered as a trade-off between location and price). Not advised for people with a lot of luggage as well as for persons with wheelchairs.
