Reasonably helpful hotel staff and possibility to terminate reservation prematurely due to completely unsatisfactory accomodation conditions. Clean and tidy room, good location.

The hotel is currently undergoing renovation (as of January 2012) - there is no reception/common areas and no lift. The corridors and the backyard look like a construction site (dust / exposed plumbing / scaffolding / workers from early morning). We were given a recently renovated double room, but the hairdrier did not work and has not been fixed during our stay. It was the smallest double room we have ever seen, with heating pipes passing inside the room, making it almost impossible to make the room habitable. Go for this hotel only if you need to find a sleeping place for one night, otherwise look for other places to stay.

Perfect position (100m from the metro station Pigalle). Perfect hotel for a weekend break. Close to montmartre and moulin rouge, so there are always a lot of people walking. The superior double room is ok, the bathroom is new. We got an offer for 80euros per night, so it really worth it (despite the old look of the hotel). Free wi-fi. Baggage deposit.

Maybe just a bit old in style.

Great staff, very friendly, public transport makes it easy to get around.

Walls are thin, but the hotel was not overly noisy.

Location was excellent close to Pigall and in walking distance from Sacre-Coeur

Tiny room, very very noisy if your room is on the street side. Not suitable for people travelling with kids (red light district) It looked shabby!!!

They did not even give me a new shampoo. I was not awakened when I was looking for

No space at all in the room, toilets or shower. No ventilation. Run-down state. Poor breakfast, scarce food. Quite pricy given the conditions. Not good value for money. Was I really given the superior double room I got charged more for? ...

The fact that they didn't have a reservation on my name (probably the fault of both Booking.com and Frochot), so I had to spend the first night at a different, more expensive hotel nearby. Also, the breakfast was ridiculously poor, the elevator's door was noisy when it closed, the furniture quite old and the windows didn't stop the outside noise from disturbing my sleep.

It was more or less close to the Opera so we could walk in that direction. Also it was close to Montmartre. Hotel stuff was friendly and helpful.

Rooms in the hotel are tiny, it was very noisy in the street, so I could hear voices even on the 5th floor. In 5 days towels were changed only twice and the bed was made only once.

The location and the simplicity to reach tourist sites.

I often go to Paris and this was the best hotel of five that I have been to since February last year. It has a good location very near Place Pigalle. There are a lot of sex-shops in this area but that has always been that part of Paris so why bother (if you haven't got small kids)? The first morning we complained about the noise from the street and got at once another calmer room facing the backyard. The breakfast included in the price was quite good.

1) A very small lift. 2) Once the staff didn't know where our (card-)key was but of course we got a new one and we were "only" worried for an evening.

Good location i a lively neighrbourhood, very close to metro and Monmartre. Reasonably sized, pleasant room, surprisingly good bathroom standard. Friendly personnel.
