Staff were so friendly & helpful . It was a pleasure to deal with them, whether they be reception, catering or cleaning.
location was ideal for all tourist attractuons
Room too small for three people
The room size too small
Staff friendly & good location.
Room space to small.
The location was perfect and I could see the Arc de Triomphe from my room as it was only about a 5 minute walk to the top of the street. Very nice street which was generally quiet. The hotel is a very short distance to a number of cafes and restaurants. The hotel staff were very friendly and were happy to chat. The receptionist who checked us in even warned us of the pick pockets which was nice although we were already aware of the problem Paris has with them.
Really feel bad putting something that I didnt like as I had such a great stay at the hotel however two things could have been improved on. The breakfast was included with the room so we expected the limited selection. It was nice however there wasnt a great deal to choose from. The main thing regarding the breakfast was that one morning we could not get a seat as the breakfast area is pretty small, some more seats would have been better. Another thing was one day the maid never went to our room, not a great problem however with the money we paid I assumed the maid would have been around every day. This was just one day though and when the maid had been in she done a good job however I thought this had to be mentioned.
Hotel was very good value for money. Very good location surrounded with everything, restaurants, bars, metro, etc.. Great staff for their help.
A nice, small hotel with friendly and serviceoriented personal with great location close to l'Arc Triumphe. They served a very good breakfest. We will be back!
The only remark was the relatively "thin walls"
We arrived at the hotel, as really clean, and we had a lovely welcome from the receptionist. Really friendly, helpful. We want to order a pizza, but we didn't know how to speak... Than one Gentleman at the reception help us with no problem and actually called on is mobile! We was friendly and funny, with is jokes! Nice people around the hotel! We recommend anyone who want a clean bedroom! I still don't know how they do it... But the fragrance in the room was amazing! Smelled a clean! And the bathroom spotless! We coming back...
not enough tables at the breakfast for everyone. So be there early to have a table with your wife.
The location was great. The cold breakfast each morning was ample and delicious (e.g., croissants, coffee, cereal, yoghurt, cheese, jams, sliced cold cuts of ham & salami, and two juices). The shower was excellent. The room also had a bathtub, which I used multiple times. Most staff were friendly. We spoke English and had no problem. The argenine metro stop was the closest, which was nice. There are several small grocery stores/markets very close. The l'arc café next door was nice; the food and service was great.
The room was small.
Very central, staff helpful room good size, bedding clean.
nice hotel with great breakfast and excellent location! the hotel is down the street from the metro and walking distance from a small grocery, a good bakery, a metro station and the arc de triomphe! service was also excellent, with helpful staff!
Very friendly personal ,good breakfast , love my room with a little balcony with a view of the Arc of Triumph, Also very quiet
The hotel is right next to Arc the Triumph . The stuff is very friendly and helpful. We had a great stay. I recommend this hotel. Thank you Astrid hotel :)
Perfect location, great service. Very convenient and close to RER and metro. Quiet place in the very center of Paris.A lot of restorants, cafes and supermarkets nearby. The hotel is cosy and equiped with the main fittings. We had an air-contitioner which was big advantage in the hot weather.
Fridge in the rooms would be big advantage.
The staff. The breakfast.
There is smell painting on front of face building Renew painting or some like that
The night manager.
Extremely loud guest noise as well very loud street noise....hotel is under going a major renovation with scaffolding outside our window along with workers from 6:30am on through the day. Many of the other guests also complained about the loud noise and rowdiness of other patrons in the hotel. We would never stay there again and feel mislead by the info we received about the Astrid Hotel.....definitely not a quiet residential neighborhood!!!!
Staff very friendly and very helpful. Décor was pleasing. Towels and bedding clean. Location very central. Area felt safe.
The location for sightseeing was great.
Everyone was very friendly. It's a nice old building that has been renovated with care. Internet access was for free.
Good location with respect to public transport
-Very small room -breakfast area can not host all guests, it was uncomfortable to see people try to get a seat for an relaxing breakfast.
Close to a main station Etoille with easy to access trains to Disneyland etc and to all the good metro lines. The area has a lot of cafes etc as well as supemarkets. Champs Elyssee is just 3 min ways. Breakfast was quite better tna expected also.
Old rooms need refurbishment but clean at least.
For the price, it's a prime location in the vicinity of subway, RER, Air France buses to all Paris airports, and a choice of restaurants of all possible range (from a quick-bite bistro to exclusive settings). Not a posh, top-of-the-line hotel, but good value for the money if you need accommodation for 1-2 nights. Wouldn't stay longer than that, though.
Room (especially a single) very small. Neat and tidy, but it felt like sleeping in a walk-in closet. To be expected for the price I paid, though.
