Quiet residential area that felt safer than central Paris. Supermarket on the corner of the street with good, low-priced food (better than the overpriced breakfast and you can have it on the go). A couple of OK restaurants also nearby. The fact that, having originally advertised as "close to the Eiffel Tower", it wasn't actually close at all. A good 10 minute metro journey which involved changes. Slightly condescending staff to a young, but far from naive, couple.

It is a basic no-nonsense hotel which is clean and neat. Not for the first timer in Paris, but is you are familiar with the city and versed in use of the merto/subway, then it is a good bang for the buck. The metro stations close to the hotel are one way stations, which means, you take a different station going to the city than when returning from the city. But once you get the hang of it, it is a non issue.

The metro was close to the hotel. For the price our room was adequate. The room was carpeted, yuck ! Who knows when the last time they were cleaned. We stayed mid Sept 2011. It was by no means a superior room, a garden view, what a joke. View of the Eiffel Tower, not from my room. The bathroom was ok, did have shower. I came here from London where our room was much nicer and cost less.During our visit we encountered many friendly and helpful French locals willing to help struggling tourists with directions etc.. The front desk staff ( Claude ) very rude !! Really, he tells a paying customer that she must learn French as she is in Paris. I was not aware that tourists are required to learn the language of the country they are travelling to. Since their livelihood ( reason they have jobs) is comprised of us tourists I would think they would extend themselves to being friendly and helpful. Also, it was difficult to arrange a cab to accomadate 4 people and luggage even though I tried to reserve the night before with front desk staff and was told it was impossible to schedule the night before. On departure date we are told a large cab is unavailable and we will need to utilize 2 cabs going to same destination. I felt like the hotel and cab service where trying to rip us off by making money from 2 cabs versus us sharing the expense of one cab. I will return to Paris but not this hotel.

Does what it says on the tin, good value clean, just down the road from the Eiffel tower, right near the river. Didn't use the restaraunt. If you wan't to disappear for a weekend in Paris then this is the one for you. Book online early and get a good rate!

clean, comfortable The conceirge at check in was trying to missrepresent your children policy and try to charge us more money...didn't like that kind of a welcome after a long plane ride with a 2 yr old cranky child and now we had to deal with a "rip-off expert" at the hotel desk instead of a prefessional representative.

Pleasant staff and always willing to help. Convenient location for us as our friends lived around the corner. I found it a bit confusing as regards the breakfast arrangements. One price for continental type breakfast - 14 euros and another 4 euros added if you decide to take cereals or cooked bacon and egg or sliced meat. It would be preferable to have one price.

The location was great, about a 30 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. Not many restaurant choices in the immediate area and most were closed New Years Day so we had a difficult time locating somewhere to eat. I was glad a small car, the garage would be very tough to navigate with a large vehicle.

This was a clean, comfortable hotel, close to a metro station and in a quiet location. It was easy to crossthe Seine via a bridge nearby and get good views of the river and the Eiffel tower. The bar/ bistro closes at 11.00pm, so it wasn't a great place for New Year.

It was situated in a very good area very close to Metro and rer, with restaurants and supermarket near by. Eiffel Tour at 20 minutes walking. The hotel had everything that we needed, it was clean, the aspect of the room was nice and worm, the bed was comfortable (I specially liked the blanket), there was a minibar and a flat screen tv with programs in all languages, in the bathroom we had all we needed, they had a storage room for luggage and a restaurant. Breakfast I found a little expensive (14 euro per pers) so we didn't ate there but the supermarket was across the street and a bulangerie pretty close. Some boys from the reception stuff was arrogant and didn't say hello when we were coming in (I didn't really care about this-it is just a remark).

Location. It's just a 15 minutes walk to the Eiffel Tower, and 5 minutes to the nearest Subway station. Nice restaurants close by, as well as a few super markets. The neighbourhood is not touristy, so you wont see that many tourists. Breakfast is camparable with other hotels and but for me a few Euros to expansive, although the choice is okay. The room is spacious enough for a young couple. Something remarkable: the personal speaks English and is very friendly and helpful! A true mirracle in Paris.

It's quiet, but well placed for the oecd and Western Paris. Staff are helpful, and give decent restaurant recommendations. The rooms, bt Parisian standards, are of a reasonable size. Cleanliness of the room itself was fine, but the bathroom floor was a disgrace (see below). I hated the fact that the bathroom floor tiles were cracked and boken, and in some cases loose. This is desperately unhygenic, and is my reason for ticking the cleanliness of the room box as "poor". We tried to get breakfast on the first day, but we were either offered the chance to wait when an overcrowded lounge place was cleaned up, or eating in the then unlit room next door. We declined, and found an excellent Brasserie on a nearby corner offering a breakfast at half the price.

“We used this hotel for our honeymoon. Location is perfect and people were so friendly. There are supermarkets around there so that we can easily buy local foods and enjoy in the room. On Sunday, there is local market around nearby subway station. There also we can enjoy local foods. This hotel is well equipped and you don't have to bring anything. We went out everyday and we felt as if we were going "home" at the end of the day. We definitely use this hotel again if we have opportunity to come to Paris. We strongly recommend this hotel.” Tomomi, Tokyo |
