The hotel is very well located: the metro station is right at the entrance, many bus lines including night buses. Many cafés, boulangeries and supermarkets near by. Nice neighbourhood. The hotel price was excellent: 60 eur for a double room, you cannot beat that in Paris.

The hotel is rather old, yet clean. The staff quite old and strange, but finally ok.

Practically inside Métro Porte de Bagnolet. Use the last car and exit to your right. Use Exit to Rue de la Py. There is no ticket office in this entrance, only the automated ticket machines. This is a typical 100€ Parisian Hotel: worn out and old, but clean. Room was quite spacious for this type of hotel and so was the bathroom. Both had big windows and a lot of light. Bathroom is typically European; shower area is small and no place to put the hand shower, so you have to get wet, shut water off and soap, and then rinse. Let's think about it: it's ecologically correct, isn't it? Typical continental breakfast: roll, croissant, tea, coffee, milk, cereal. It's 2€ cheaper if you book in advance. It's your choice, because you won't pay cheaper than 5€ for just one croissant and a cup of coffee on the streets. There was a small market across the street which closed at 10pm, and another smaller one that would stay open later, and a McDonalds that would be open later too. Post Office (La Poste) across the street opens at 8am.

There was some renovation going on at the reception, which reduced significantly the walking area to the elevator. I'm sure when it's done it will be nice.

There was an older gentlemen who worked there....extremely nice and helpful. They had two windows in the room....one in the room, one in the toilet/shower area. This is important when the weather gets warmer as there is no air conditioning.

Unfortunately, they were doing renovations, so the entire lobby area was under some form of construction my entire visit. The shower was EXTREMELY small. I am extremely fit and slim, and I had a hard time. Most fat Americans will not be able to fit in the shower....accept it as a fact and quit eating to excess. You don't have a medical condition, you have a mental condition. There are no English language television channels.

We got a newly remodeled room, we had the option of Continental Brkfast for additional price, we could open the window, good bed, shelves in closet.

We had to pay for Wifi and it wasn't easy to login and had to login every few minutes; the Continental brkfast at additional cost was the worst we had in 30 days in Europe; the shower was impossible to use unless you held the nozzle; whenever we asked the staff questions, either they said they could not help us or it would cost more.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very good about people coming in late at night. Very quiet, and good location right next to the metro

The shower wasn't very good - the water pressure was very weak, and the hot water was a bit hit and miss

internet is paid (7€ for 3 nights) and did not work one of the three days, TV should have some english channels - but these thinks are not really important for the visitors coming to enjoy the city

The staff were great and it was very very close to the subway.

The actual location of the hotel wasn't in proximity to much of the tourist areas.

Rigtig god value for money

I loved the location and the price. It was very easy to get in and out of the Paris city center and had some great local shops. Not a touristy area so it was a nice little escape after being bombarded with souvenir shops and mobs of people all day. Perfect for travelers not spending much time in the room other than to sleep and bath. Great view of the surrounding city. The staff was friendly and nice.

The shower and elevator were both tiny. The water temperature in the shower was also a bit unpredictable. We could've used an alarm clock and I found it odd and a bit uncomfortable leaving the room key at the front desk whenever exiting the hotel.

Nice staff, the hotel is right next to the metro station. The room we stayed in has been just renowated (as the others on the 5th floor) and cleaned everyday. Good quality for the price.

There was something messed up with light switches as turning on the light required proper combinations. It wasn't a big problem though, just needed a little creativity.

Great price/quality balance. Nice bar accros the street. Right on the metro station (20m). Great accomodation for young people who are not looking for a posh hotel.

Really close to bakery, supermarket and metro stop, even if quite far away from the centre of Paris.

Only problem was shower doesn't have a wall fitting to put the nozzle on- which I've been told is how most French showers are, but it is a pain to have to hold it the whole time.

Cleanliness and friendly staff. The hotel was very close to the metro station Porte de bagnolet.

The rooms were a bit old and paint was fading off. Blankets were torn off.

Clean, cheap, friendly staff - close to metro. Nice quartier around the hotel - good street market on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Shower over bath had to be hand-held - no bracket for it.

The Internet was not free and stopped working at times.

Staff were friendly and helpful (they allowed us to use some of their kitchen facilities despite the fact that they are not intended to be for self-catering). The room was clean and regular cleaning services were offered. Very close to local amenities (two minute walk to local supermarkets; the metro is right at the door).

Rooms may be slightly cramped for most people's liking; we were backpacking and did not mind (the room was just large enough to fit the bed and a small desk - the contents of our backpacks covered the rest of the floor). While the bathroom was clean, unfortunately the shower fixture was broken and the shower was also inclined to flood. Wifi services are also not free.
