Comfort Restaurant l'Escale des Flandres Bondues - Lille Tourcoing  

Its locality to where I was going in Belguim the next day. Very friendly staff and very helpful and they spoke excellent English and was dog friendly. Room was good but a bit small.

I think they could offer supper on Friday evenings in the restaurant, and supply more refreshments in room.

The only positive thing that I can say is that the staff were very friendly.

The location of the Hotel within an industrial estate and next to a motorway meant that it was too far to walk to centre restaurants etc. (there was no public transport). Noise from C. 5 A.M. was a problem. As the restaurant was closed on Saturday and Sunday this proved particularly problematic. Although the room was clean there were nasy splatter marks on one of the walls that looked as though a bottle of wine had been smashed against it. The kettle provided did not have its lid so trying to boil it for tea meant that the room steamed up. We were told that they could not replace it and the solution provided was to fill it up with boiling water in the kitchen and then to walk up the second floor stairs to the room. On the days when the kitchen closed and no staff available then we were left without this facility entirely. We had breakfast the first morning but declined the rest of the stay because the jar of jam left for guests was mouldy. They did change it for us but it left us suspicious of the kitchen standards of hygiene. This hotel is really only suitable for business or tradesman one night stays.

Acceuil chaleureux. Chambres parfaites, personnel tres efficace.

Chambre moderne tout confort, propre, personnel à l'écoute. L'hôtel est situé dans une zone (déserte donc) mais nous voulions simplement dormir à proximité d'amis c'était parfait. Très calme du coup en plus !

Attention aux 5 étages sans ascenceur si vous avez une valise lourde...

De ligging is goed, omdat het vlakbij de stad Lille ligt. Ook is er op nog geen paar kilometer afstand een groot Centre Commercial (met o.,a. Auchan). De kamers zien er zeer netjes uit.

Het ontbijt op de eerste dag viel erg tegen. Een zeer grote groep oudere mensen, had al ontbeten vóór de reguliere starttijd van het ontbijt en er lagen letterlijk nog een paar plakjes kaas op het ontbijtbuffet toen wij aan de ontbijttafel arriveerden. De tweede dag besloten we ook niet in het hotel te ontbijten. Ik moet er wel bij vermeleden dat we bij het uitchecken het ontbijt van de eerste dag niet hoefden te betalen toen wij er over begonnen.

Chambre minimaliste et un peu vétuste Salle à manger d'une grande tristesse, cuisine plus que moyenne (tagliatelles au saumon servies beaucoup trop cuites, genre bloc de pattes).

Veel te ver af gelegen van enige dorpskern niets te zien op wandel afstand Het hotel ligt in een industriezone. Geen restaurant vrijdag zaterdag en zondag Geen gelegenheid om s'avonds vanaf vrijdag iets te drinken in de bar en helemaal niets in de buurt

Makkelijk bereikbaar; goede uitvalbasis voor bezoek aan steden als Lille, Kortrijk, Doornik enz.

Wat sobere inrichting, en geen lift aanwezig (dus minder geschikt voor invaliden)

Pas de probèmes majeurs de qualité ni au niveau du personnel, très compétent.

L'insonorisation extérieure n'est pas parfaite. A qualité équivalente, on devrait avoir un prix global est un peu plus bas.
