Location and Exceptional Staff :)
location and comfort of hotel. Owner and staff were excellent
This hotel is in a central location, very close to restaurants, shops and public transport. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, and we were able to leave our luggage there all day as we were too early to check in to our room after arriving at 11am. The room was fairly small, but comfortable and newly-decorated, with tea and coffee-making facilities and a decent bathroom. I would be very happy to stay here again.
Location, no fuss, excellent wifi, discount via booking.com
small room, twice the cleaning trolley right in front elevator (not enough place to pass)
- New elegant decoration on first floor - Right next to the tramway - A few minutes walk to the beach - Really nice people at the reception, both at night and in the morning. - Nice diverse breakfast buffet (not fabulous but nice enough for the price)
Despite what the booking website mentions, there is NO parking in the hotel. There was luckily some parking space in the street, but not specially for the hotel.
Midway between railway station and the Promenade des Anglais (Mediterranean Sea) + old town. Nice, cosy and spacious rooms, charming hotel, close to everything, and hard to beat value for money, even if early February isn't the peak season.
The hotel was on a side street within walking distance of all the attractions of central Nice, close to bus & tram stops, and also the train station. All the staff we met were cheerful, helpful, and spoke good English. Tea/coffee-making facilities in the room and fast free wifi were a bonus.
Our first-floor room faced the (one-way) street that led to an underground car park and was a little noisy in the mornings (though it was quiet at night so getting to sleep wasn't a problem).
the location in very good there are a three very good restaurants very close from the right side of the hotel and good bakery after few meters from the left side . Very close from the shopping street . Not far from the old city and the sightseeing of the city . The staff are very helpful and friendly and room is a little small but it's normal in all france the clean of room is acceptable .the hotel offer tea and coffee to prepare in the room and heater for hot water . At all I will book again at this hotel if I will to nice again
There is no Fridge in the room
Beds very comfortable Clean and tidy Very friendly and helpful staff
The staircase to 3rd floor was a challenge for my 77 year old mother
Excellent location for city centre shops and restaurants. Very helpful staff. Best hotel Wifi I've experienced in France.
Staff very helpful.
Helpful personnel, quiet rooms, free coffee/tea in room, located walk distance to shops, restaurants, sights. One tram stop to beach...
I stayed last Jan. 17 to 18, 2015. Location is in the center of shopping road. Very near to tram station, railway station, old town and sea side. 3 star hotel in a budget price. I paid €81 for 3 persons per night. Very comfy and clean room. Staff are accommodating and helpfull. I will definitely come back and recommend this hotel.
The room looks bigger in the pictures.
The location of the hotel and kind attitude of all staff was really great. Only 10 minutes pleasant walk from the Nice Ville train station and to the Place Massena was good. We stayed in the room 515 at the extension bulding. The size and comfort of the room as well as the bathroom was much more than what we have experienced in the other hotels in France.
There was not an elevator in the extension building we've stayed and carrying our luggages two levels up was quite dissappointing. We tried optional breakfast only once and did not enjoy it. The breakfast was having everything (cereals, fruits, yoghurt, cheese, scrambled eggs, hot&cold meat etc.) but the quality of the foods/items and the general look of the breakfast room was not that good to pay 11 EURO's per person.
The location was perfect, staff also very helpful. There is no parking in the hotel but there is one public parking very close to the hotel and expensive.
My room was a little bit noisy during the night.
Room too small
Tea kettle supplied . The off season price meant very good value for money. Easy walking distance to waterfront.Tram around the corner. Railway station about 800m away.
Air venting from internal toilet could be better.
The location near to trams, cafes, old town & restaurants. Friendly, helpful staff Quiet, comfortable rooms with modern bathroom. Quirky, French furnishingsanddecor.
Nothing! Breakfast expensive at 11 euros don't eat much, but cafes nearby do petit dejeuners for 6-7 euros.
Excellent wi-fi, convenient location next to main shopping street, clean, helpful staff, room quiet enough.
The room wasn't huge or luxurious, but that's perfectly fine at this price.
Everything was fine
It rained a lot, and we couldn't sleep because of water dropping through the roof which had holes in it. Had to move to a quieter room.
All the staff, especially Stephanie, were interested in you and couldn't have been more helpful. Very comfy beds and very clean throughout. Tea making facilities were welcome Breakfasts fine for 3 star hotel. Excellent central location for both walking & public transport. O'staafys restaurant 40 metres away worth a visit. Free internet in lobby.l
Room 308 was small for one. Imagine with 2 beds very difficult for two.
