The close proximity to the train station.

It was noisy, and there were people coming and going from the adjoining room all night long . . . and not being quiet about it, and I had a rear room, so I also got the listen to all the pre-dawn garbage dumping. If you are a person who enjoys sleeping, ask for a room in the front, and don't get the 3rd or 4th floor as there is no elevator. But the staff is pleasant and the breakfast is convenient and the coffee is excellent. For $12, it had better be. So, all in all, it is a mixed bag.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location if you are catching a train early in the morning. It was opposite the station, but from our room at the back we were not bothered by any noise. There are some decent places to eat in the street, which is pedestrian only.

No air conditioning in the room. Being close the station there were some strange people wondering around, although they did not approach us.

Prime position opposite the railway station. Cheerful and helpful staff. Spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed and plenty of hot water for showers. A 'French' hotel with a rustic touch. Rooms available at the back, but excellent views of station and street life at the front. Windows are double- glazed to keep out the noise.

The room was quite reasonable with a generously sized bathroom & shower cubicle. There was no bar fridge. It is very well located, across the road from the railway station (gare) and has easy access by tram into the city centre. We ate breakfast elsewhere as we felt the cost of breakfast was relatively high.

It was a little noisy on one night as a result of a fountain & square being located at the hotel entrance. .

room is clean and tidy. staff is helpful and nice. wifi in the room is a bonus. not much other facilities in the hotel but convenient enough. takes one minute walk from st jean train station.

Nous avions une réservation pour 2, une seule serviette de bain était prévue dans la salle de bain. Pour le prix le petit déjeuner pourrait être un peu plus fourni en choix.

Très contente du rapport qualité/prix, avec un personnel charmant . De plus même si le quartier n'est pas le plus sympa de Bordeaux, il est vraiment très pratique: en face de la gare et à 200m de l'arrêt de tram, pour être ds le vieux centre en 10mn!

Un rideau de voilage ne serait pas superflu : chambre au rez-de-chaussée sur cour, donc tous les gens (peu nombreux il est vrai) qui passent devant la porte-fenêtre voient se qui se passe à l'intérieur, à moins de fermer les gros rideaux, ce qui est dommage quand il fait jour. L'éclairage naturel est faible (cour) et l'éclairage électrique n'est pas très chaleureux.

La décoration de la chambre est très jolie, les couleurs sont vives et originales. L'accueil très sympa.

La décoration de l'accueil est à refaire (lumière et meubles) et n'est pas en raccord avec la décoration des chambres. De premier abord, l'hotel n'est pas très accueillant.
