The hotel interior looked horrible. The hallways were in some kind of renovation (but nobody was working). The carpets on the stairs were broken (probably 15 years ago), and the room doors looked like bad wardrobe doors. The enire "hotel" looked to us as if built from remain, old things that were not used anywhere else. The bathrooms were ok, and the rooms acceptable (exept a distinct smell of old furniture). What you see is not what you get! On the website (booking.com), there were pictures of beautiful rooms. Instead, we were housed in old rooms, one of which had no windows. Good location: close to the metro and bus routes. They gave a free map with the hotel marked on it, so that helped us get around. The rooms were small and it was incredibly noisy in the morning from 7h30 on - as they were doing construction beside and above us and didn't bother to mention that. You could hear every small conversation outside and the movement of the elevator. The water in the shower went from hot to cold.

Good location: close to the metro and bus routes. They gave a free map with the hotel marked on it. Helpful and friendly staff. Small shop and restaurants just across the street. The hotel is not bad. Old furniture but when I was there, the old furniture was changing for others new. . It's cheap and good located. Wifi only in lobby, Breakfast very basic

The hotel was very basic and the photos on its website do not reflect the reality at all. A lot of work seems to be going on but currently the upkeep of the hotel is poor. I literally needed a cheap place to sleep so it was fine but don't expect comfort or luxury!

The staff want to help you anyhow, however it is almost impossible because nobody knows english. Each problem can be solved very slowly, because of the staff. The smell in rooms is terrible. The halls are dirty and shabby. Very unpleasant place.

This hotel is definately value for money choice. I would recommend it for young couples - rooms have everything what you need for rational price. Main hotel's advantages are: - friendly staff, - room was always clean - close to the metro station - good location for a city trip. Hotel is still in the process of renovation. In our room there were no balb bowls. Also there is a nice bathroom on the website, but our was really small and inconvenient. When you are staying inside water is always at the floor, because there is no curtain for the bath. Also, bad noise isolation should be mentioned. That is why you always can easily hear your neighbors early in the morning. It is disturbing if you like to wake up later.

The main reason I chose the hotel was due to the location to the Moulin Rouge (less than 10mins walk). The room was comfortable the room however did have a strong smell on room freshener but you get used to it. It was very basic but decor was quaint. It had everything you could possibly need and so definitely value for money. Would stay here again for sure and the staff were very helpful with directions ect.

Stuff was very nice, even if they do not spoke well English, communication was fine. Breakfast was fair enough, croissant, baguette, butter, jam, coffee or tea, orange juice. You won't find nothing cheaper in close distance if you want also coffee. When you have room on first floor you can use WIFI also in your room :) Location was excellent, close to Metro, several supermarkets are across the street. Corridor to rooms look like from bad movie, but rooms itself are completely reconstructed, clean and nice. Reconstruction is still in progress so you can find light bulbs hanged from wall just on wires :) Room which we had

The location is very comfortable, not far from the centre, very close to Monmartre and to the Saint-Lazare train station. The room was warm and big. The hotel looks very old, the room is dark and not comfortable at all. The walls are ugly and the furniture is really old. The dining hall is small and not fancy at all. When I asked for breakafast in the evebning a receptionist replied that I should have told before and I had to go tio the cafeteria. Despite the hotel is not expensive it definitely doesn't worth money I paid.

Clean enough, excellent location - close to metro, shopping, cafes and Moulin Rouge! TV didn't work and the rooms aren't quite as lovely as the pictures suggest. Still, comfortable and safe. Good value for money.

Great location. Easy access, walking distance to most turistic attractions. Clean, cosy room. Vert helpful, english speaking staff. Would recommend it to anyone. Safe surroundings, very animated. Many restaurants, caffes, fast-foods, shops. No internet in the room only at the reception area.

We were 4 people travelling: one adult and 3 teenagers. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Every one had his own bed. The room was well heated. The service was excellent. All minor issues were fixed immediately. The location of the hotel was fabulous. 3 minutes walk at most from the metro. Bakery at the corner. Small shop and restaurants just across the street. Just perfect for the four of us. Only complain.... I was asked to pay for the stay on the last night although I had already paid on arrival. I had to show the receipt to prove it. I did not like it. But then again..... Everything else was perfect.

Pleasant friendly staff and good location so close to metro station. A bit run down - stair carpet needs replacing for example.
