In central Paris, this hotel is less than half a mile from the Moulin Rouge in Montmartre. It has a 24-hour front desk and offers guest rooms with a TV and telephone. Reasonably nice neighborhood, close to main attractions by metro (def not by foot). Nice looking Japanese restaurant round the corner, too bad we had just had dinner at crappy Italian restaurant when we spotted it. Unhappy with booking.com because reservation didn't come through. The hotel staff member kept us and our small children waiting for 40 mins during which he slowly checked his paperwork and -presumably- phoned his boss, before he was able to offer us a room. He hardly spoke English and wasn't very helpful. Instead of the quadruple room we had reservations for, our family had to split up between two rooms across two floors, one on the first floor of reasonable size and with a window and another room on the sixth floor which was probably the worst room I have ever stayed in. Very stuffy, no windows, no space to move around whatsoever, just two beds and a tv. Had to pay the same amount as for the quadruple room despite having to split up, after an exhausting journey across Paris with luggage and children the last thing we needed really.

The hotel interior looked horrible. The hallways were in some kind of renovation (but nobody was working). The carpets on the stairs were broken (probably 15 years ago), and the room doors looked like bad wardrobe doors. The enire "hotel" looked to us as if built from remain, old things that were not used anywhere else. The bathrooms were ok, and the rooms acceptable (exept a distinct smell of old furniture). What you see is not what you get! On the website (booking.com), there were pictures of beautiful rooms. Instead, we were housed in old rooms, one of which had no windows. Good location: close to the metro and bus routes. They gave a free map with the hotel marked on it, so that helped us get around. The rooms were small and it was incredibly noisy in the morning from 7h30 on - as they were doing construction beside and above us and didn't bother to mention that. You could hear every small conversation outside and the movement of the elevator. The water in the shower went from hot to cold.

The hotel staff at the desk were very friendly. They were responsive and helpful in providing directions in the city, arranging taxis, etc. The quality of this hotel was extremely poor. The water-stained walls, exposed electrical wiring, torn wallpaper, dirty bedspreads, worn mattresses, etc. made me wonder how they could remain open for business. The friendly hotel staff posted "No Danger" signs in the hallways, perhaps in an attempt to reassure guests that the facilities were safe despite appearances. We were not reassured!

Close to the metro.Easy to walk to Moulin Rouge and Sacra Couer for good view of Paris at night.Bathroom was clean, modern.Bed was clean and comfy.Staff were friendly.Good budget accommadation.Would stay there again. .Pictures of bedrooms a bit deceiving, taken a few years ago I think! Old fashioned but was clean.Stairs needs to done up,carpet was worn out and ripped but there was a lift which always worked so you didnt need to use the stairs. Was'nt an hairdryer in the room, maybe you had to ask for one...

Price, location, clean. The water to take a shower runs really slow and do not have a stand for the shower so you have to hold, to wash your hair can be a little difficult.

The hotel was perfect by all means, it has a very good location near restaurants, metro station, bus stops, disco, fast food restaurants, bars, cafeterias and many more! The most important part of the hotel is its staff especially one of them who was at the reception during the day shift and his name was habib, he was so helpful, kind, gentle and respectful. He was always helping us finding our path whenever we want to go somewhere in Paris and his suggestions were so precious! We really want to thank him again for his nice behavior and his good nature. Additionally, the hotel manager was also nice and cooperative. Anyway, what to say, the rest of the staff were also nice and gentle. I do recommend people to book at this hotel and I myself, will stay at same hotel if I am back to Paris again! Nothing to complain about!

The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was basic I.E. a croissant for breakfast and a small room without a safe or other facilities however this suited us as we were not interested in a luxury hotel - it met our needs in terms of it being well cleaned everyday, comfy beds and in particular a great location that wasn't a far walk away from Gare du Nord or from the main tourist attractions. Our main concern was safety as we were travelling two girls alone - the hotel is just off a main road so not in the depths of dodgy side streets. I felt it was a reasonably safe area. Very close to lots of restaurants and to Montemarte. I would definitely return to this hotel - great value for money. Would have preferred having a safe in the room for passports. Very basic so not somewhere to stay if you are picky about rooms other than standard of cleanliness (which is all I was interested in in the room)

The location of the hotel was wonderful. It was perfect for access to the rest of Paris. The staff were lovely and friendly. The hotel seemed quite run down, there did seem to be work taking place. The lift was a little small/rubbish and staying on the 6th floor was a little bit of an effort at the end of a day sightseeing. But to be honest it didnt really matter, I didnt go on holiday for the hotel.

Budget place to stay in Paris. Located 10 mins from Place de clichy train station. Just need to get the direction right if not will end up walking a big round. Supermarket opposite, F&B outlets within range (Chinese, Japanese, Local & fastfood, etc). Walking distance to opera, Galeries Lafayette. On the right side, Bus no 30 (Euro 1.80) to Arc de Triompe & Effifel Tower.

My second room they puted me in another room because of my complaint and I appreciated that My first room was a mess, it was like a horror movie motel room in the middle of the road at 3am with a windows facing toward a basement, I made a compaint at the reception about the uglyness of the room compared to the pictures in booking.com. So they changed me to a new room with street view, decent bathroom but with 2 beds instead one queen like I have pointed at the reception, so then I had to stick both beds and try to not fall out of the bed in the middle of the night. But the second room was very decent. The corridors of the 6 floor motel are small and deteriorated. For a Low budget people is a good Hotel if you only get the room with street view.

Hotel is located just 20 minutes walk from Sacre Coeur and only 3 minutes from metro station. Good relation price/comfort. Our room on 4th floor was little bit noisy. Room was clean. Internet works only in public areas - reception, stairs.

The hotel was basic but clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. A budget hotel which was ideally located for access to Central Paris. Nothing to dislike. You get what you pay for and we paid for a budget trip for a family of 4.
