Hôtel Le Canberra  

Good location, 200 meters from the Croisette. Not too many rooms, very light and very clean. Smartly refurbished. Very friendly staff from frontdesk to roommaid. Small but convenient and safe pool. Beuatifull terrace. In the centre of the city but relatively calm.

Great location, superb service and wonderfully large rooms. I was ugraded to a junior suite having booked a prestige room, and it was enormous. TV has BBC1 and BBC2 as well as thirty or so other channels, and a radio facility. I cannot fault this hotel.

Great location. Easy to get around, and public transport is sufficient.

Our rate did not include breakfast. If a preferential rate that includes breakfast it would be perfect. There are rooms on the other side of the hotel that have better views. For low season we were hoping that we would be able to get them.

The location and the service.

There's no better position for shopping. Canberra is for those who find a 5star service of big hotels a bit annoying and still want a comfort and luxury. It's newly refurbished, but it was really perfect even before. There's enough space in the rooms - exceptional in French hotels.

Just one con: a breakfast for 21 euro could be more rich.

Everything! Our stay at Le Canberra was a memorable one thanks to the great service, attentive staff and super comfortable and spacious rooms. Everything was parfait! We'll be back for sure!

Clean room only

We get a bad service from front desk because we ask for extend 2 night and they confirm that for us , next day I receive a call form front desk at 1:00 pm asking me when we make checking out , because the hotel full up and they can not make extend for us , I told him we are a family with small kids at least they have to inform us in night about this problem and they try to find for me other hotel in 500 euro ber night , I will not recommend this hotel for family travler

The hotel is very fresh, it was even prettier and in better shape than on photos. Amazing location. Nice stylish rooms. Breakfast is not included, costs 21€, maybe too much, but good quality. The stuff was amazing, super friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here next time!

Relaxed staff not too formal! Rooms great ideas with solid fittings.

Breakfast €22 pp, high price. Shower in gym broken for several days and out of use.

Excellent location if you intend to stay in town. Mins to the beach front, shops, restaurants. Rooms are well decorated and the facilities new.

There are only a few parking lots at the hotel, thus if you are driving, it can be a problem. It is not that easy to drive to the hotel as there are many one way streets in Cannes.

hotel is located right in the middle of a shopping street and 5 minutes walk from the beach. hotel has tasteful modern decoraction and rooms are very clean and comfortable. We had a room facing the street and thought it would be a bit noisy, but window isolation is perfect and shopping street is rather deserted during the night. The shower and bathtub are modern and all necessary toiletries are provided by the hotel. Hotel has a heated swimming pool. Hotel has free wifi which came in handy. Staff are very friendly, speak good english and ready to answer all questions.

hotel needs to fire restaurant staff: parma ham sandwitch we ordered as room service was expensive (around 16 euro) and did not taste good at all. The choice of lunch/dinner food in the restaurant is very limited and even a free glass of champaign we got offered if we had our meal there, did not persuade us to eat at the hotel. Also 21 euro for a breakfast is a bit of a rip off: if you don't eat much for breakfast or prefer a sleep-in, avoid booking room with breakfast.I also wish there was more information about excursions in the Cannes area.
