It's clean. It's well known that Paris is expensive, so this hotel is as well cheap, it's close to Sacre Coeur and Moulin Rouge, the metro station is not so far (7min walking). Yeah, it's a 3 stars hotel, so you don't expect to see a LDC TV in the room, I recommend this hotel for short travels. I didn't like the neighborhood, even if the metro station is close, I didn't like to arrive late (22h 23h). But, nothing happened to me, so it's cool.

The Pigalle area, where hotel is situated is alco close to Mortmartre (Sacré-Coeur) and this is the place to be: close to the centre, close to metro stations (Pigalle, Anvers), Carrefour and other shops near by, pizzeria in front of the hotel, or club on the same street; There is a club close to the hotel and especially on thursdays, fridays, saturdays can be people heard.. They just having fun, so if anyone is annoyed by this, ask the reception for the room, with windows facing the other side, not the street view :)

The location was convenient to the Pigalle metro station. The family room was quite large, as was the bathroom. It was a bit inconvenient not to have a shower curtain and the fan wouldn’t turn off in the bathroom. The street noise was loud (we were on the 3rd floor); the hotel does not have modern soundproof windows to seal out the noise. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel (too expensive), but there is a nice patisserie, which had reasonably priced items (quiches, breads, pastries, etc.), across the street.

Very close to the metro, supermarket and great bakery. The room was tidy and a good size for 4 people. The staff were all very polite and helpful and spoke very good English which helped us when asking at reception for information about getting around Paris. Street noise was quite loud at night even though we were on the 3rd floor.

the location was fantastic - conveniently across the road from Pigalle Metro station. The staff were extremely helpful with everything, including holding your bags before check in and after check out. They also helped you out with general tourism. The size of the rooms and the overall quality were great for the price. Everything was perfect apart from probably the showering facilities - we got a bathtub, which was nice, but it was at an awkward angle at times. Also, there was no curtain, so there's a risk of the entire room getting wet! Other than that, no complaints whatsoever.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, no matter what time of the day or night. Excellent location, in a quiet side street, but off Clichy boulevard, where you'll find lots of nightlife, a metro station, a supermarket, etc. Room had A/C, surprisingly. Bed were very clean and firm, just the way I like them. Great windows helped compensate for the small size of the room. Rooms are a bit oldish and cramped, but nothing that prevented me from having a good night sleep, which is what matters after all. Shower could use a curtain, maybe? Lights are those awful low energy ones, which give off a very cold light and didn't work with the pale blue colour of the room. Possibly the slowest and smallest elevator I've ever witnessed, good thing it's not needed :)

Caravelle is situated just off Moulin Rouge, but on the nice side of Moulin rouge(away from the sleeze Moulin Rouge attracts). It is a couple of minutes walk away from two Metro lines which meant everything was on your door step! Montre Mart is only 5 mins walk away which is a great spot for good cafes. We did not eat in the hotel as we enjoyed our lazy mornings but there are plenty of bakery's and cafe's around the corner of the hotel and there is also a Carrefour on the corner. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, they have great English and were not offended by our poor attempt at speaking French. They gave us a map and circled all the hotspots we wished to see, they also could tell us what metro lines to take and how much the tickets would cost, we also purchased our Disneyland tickets off them at a discount rate. The room was very clean and comfortable, warm and cosy! The room was cleaned each day with fresh sheets and towels. It was good value for money and I would definitely recommend staying in the Caravelle. I would love to return in the future. The only tiny problem we had was there is no shower curtain so the bathroom was very wet after showers, but that's just nit picking!

The hotel's front desk staff seemed to be waiting for us being arrived when we got there for check-in. It felt quite nice to be greeted by kind people on the very first day in Paris. It was not difficult at all to find the hotel from the nearest metro staion. There are local market around the place as well as restaurants and other features. I think it worth explore the area.. Me and my sisters could stay there comfortably on 6th floor in a large family room. Very clean and spacious with bath tub. I'd love to book the same hotel if I have chance to visit Paris again!

Free wifi in the rooms, friendly staff Photos of rooms on booking.com and the hotel website are misleading, the hotel is very old-fashioned and seems wasn't renewed during the last 20 years... I wouldn't recommend it.

Near transportation, the staff was nice and tried to be helpful. They have an elevator. Ask for a non-street facing room. While not a busy street it gets lots of loud people going up and down the street late at night. Not the best if you are a light sleeper. The room was basic, no frills. Clean room. Lobby door locked at night with a buzz in for better security. Noisy neighbors across the street parting till 3am on a Wednesday night. Very few electric plugs in the room for recharging cameras etc.

The location close to Montmartre was good. The room was very small and too warm even though it was winter and I had to sleep with the window open even though it had a balconey connecting to the next room

Very nice place for such a price. I would recommend rooms on the upper floor: comfort, very silent, beautiful paris windows! We enjoyed it! And location - very close to everything, and very calm street!

Caravelle was conveniently located for a short sightseeing trip to Paris. Rue des martyrs was interesting and characterful, bustling without being too lively or noisy. The price was reasonable for Paris. The room was clean and had all that was necessary. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay there again and I would recommend Caravelle to friends.

It was well located in the centre of Pigalle. It is one of the seedier parts of town but that didn't bother us, it may bother others. Much like many Paris hotels the room was small. The temperature gauge didn't seem to work and we had to sleep with the window open and it was very noisy and people out on the street, trucks and cars kept us awake. There is wifi but you have to log in every time you use an appliance.

It's location is very good to reach central points and also very close (1 mins) to metro station. Breakfast was fixed and same every day, it could be a little bit rich since customers pay 7 euros.
