Location and staff were excellent

I liked the room and the hotel was small but quiet. comfortable bed, balcony, privacy. Breakfast good, cold selection. good coffee. swimming pool towels provided. Tucked away but in middle of Collouire. no restaurant but plenty of places within a few metres

Parking is extra cost. Heated pool, not covered so cold in April-minor issue No hot selection at breakfast

It was centrally located, staff were very attentive and helpful quaint and lovely old house with beautiful courtyard garden

Location and value.

Staff was helpful, but did not have the best information on train schedules from Collioure to Barcelona.

The location and the overall setting It is a fabulous old building and the decor and grounds are beautiful and relaxing

There was a little mould in the bathroom ( old buildings tend to have this) The wifi did not work at all for iPad or iPhone - a real nuisance

Very central - the location. Had everything that we required so cannot say anything negative and would highly recommend it

Our room was an attic room (lovely) across from where they set up the market so as it starts with the set up very early we had at least x3 very early morning wake up from all the maket noise.

There's a market just around the corner, so we had a picnic dinner at one the tables in Casa Pairal's courtyard by the fountain. Most enjoyable and relaxing.

Very friendly staff. Beautiful location and lovely old house. Garden is maintained well and is well planned out. Gardens are mature and the swimming area is a lovely sun trap. Although the hotel is central it is quiet and easy access to all of collioure is had. Our room was not an expensive room but was lovely and had a comfortable bed and good sized bathroom. The mini bar was nice to have and free safe which was very convenient and easy to use. Front door was locked at 10.00pm and a given code lets you in. Code to car park was also given and for the barrier. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much and would not hestitate in staying at Casa Pairal again and would certainly recommend the hotel to those wishing to stay in Collioure.

The shower was a little moudly and the shower ceiling too. I think the chamber maids need to clean the shower more diligently. The rooms were cleaned every day and very quickly but not thoroughly e.g. the bed linen was not changed during the two weeks of our stay and the provided glasses were not washed out at first until we made it obvious. A cleaning cloth was left hanging over the bathroom door which was pointed out to the management. Sometimes dirty towels were left in the bathroom while clean ones were given.

the hotel is located in immediate proximity to the tourist attractions, the beach, souvenir shops, yet in a very quiet environment with a cosy terrace, patio and nice swimming pool. Railways station is 5 minutes walk.

On the other hand, there are some things which are not quite in line with a 4* hotel, like rather poor choice at breakfast, no slippers in the room, which would be very useful with tile floor in the bathroom and WC.

Perfectly positioned right in the centre of Collioure but because the room faced inward to the courtyard it was very quiet. Nice big room with a big bed. All the staff were friendly and especially Matthieu who warmly welcomed us the first night and had a fantastic knowledge of the English Premiership.

Breakfast is still a little pricey so subsequently we didn't take it and the WiFi wasn't great.

Very nice hotel. Lovely courtyard with a swimming pool.

peace and tranquility

Beautifully laid out rooms and gardens, lots of whimsical features, amazing position in heart of this difficult to park town and with carpark available. Nice touches- help yourself sherry and fruit bowl.

Breakfast too expensive- same is available for one third the price 50 metres away! Needs to have tea/coffee facilities in room or at least on each landing upstairs.

Great location in centre of lovely town.Short walk to restaurants,shops and beaches. Well appointed room and very attractive garden and pool.

A large French House Hotel bang smack in the middle of Collioure, with a quiet shady garden which we had our breakfast in and a swimming pool with shady nooks to sit and read or just relax in. Our room was very large with everything you could want and our bathroom on-suit was state of the art.

Loved the fact it was so close to the town/beaches of Collioure which was very busy but the hotel area remained a tranquil hideaway from the bustle! Loved the traditionally french and faded elegance of the building and the inner shaded courtyard which was very pretty, a lovely place to relax. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were quite large and comfortable with large bathrooms.

Our room did look over the town rather than the quieter inner courtyard which meant that it was quite noisy particularly during the town summer festival. The hotel staff had however alerted us to this before we arrived and gave us a discount on leaving as the website had stated the room would look over the courtyard. We found once the shutters were closed most noise was muted! A small thing, but important when spending a fair amount of time sunbathing is that the loungers by the pool were very uncomfortable - we resorted to buying thick beach mats to put on them for comfort! Not a great variety of drinks available to order from the hotel and no snacks available to order during the day, we weren't allowed to have drinks by the pool.

Beautiful Hotel in town centre, but totally quite without traffic noise, so you feel like beeing somewhere on the countyside. Wonderful garden and pool area. Very clean and nice staff with good english language skills. Very nice was Chambre Privilege below the roof.

Casa Pairal was a beautiful small hotel with a lovely pool and quiet garden. It's location was perfect - close to the beach and shops. I would visit again.

Local information was not offered on arrival and wi-fi informaion has to be aked for, rather than offered. The staff however were always courteous and friendly.
