Hotel room was large with both a double and single bed. En-suite had both a bath and shower. Hotel was clean and the staff were accomodating. Location was beside shops, restaurants etc. |

Nothing to make me happy to choose this hotel. Staff were not friendly, I heard many No from them, actualy I asked for a piece of more bread for breakfast and I heard No!!!!, rooms were so cold and they didn't have heater, we used many blankets during nights but it was still cold. rooms doesn't have refrigerator, overally i suggest to choose another hotel with this money. |

The hotel is in a good location, close to Metro Bonne Nouvelle, one of the staff was trying to be helpful, the breakfast was simple but tasty - croissant - honey - butter - marmelade, coffee/tea/juice, cornflakes.. The hotel is dirty in the corridors, it is obvious that is it only sleep over place, no need to take care either of the guests or the facilities.. |

The day reception staff were helpful in locating the nearest metro station. We were originally given a room with three beds and no bathroom. The staff member left before we could check the room and only after going back to reception were we moved to a room with a bathroom. General cleanliness of the room was poor. |

The place it is situated is good, near to cafes and resturants and metro stations... Well, the Building itself was old and dark and for the first moment kinda scary ;) and the room I had was on the last floor and it smelled a little, like humidity smell ... |

The best thing about Cecil is the staff: they are very helpful and kind. The hotel and the area around it are very quiet at night, perfect for a good rest after a long day walking in Paris. Rooms are spacious and clean. Great location. |

One of the night managers was very nice, but there was another man who was just plain rude who unfortunately, was there most of the time. When we first arrived, there were towels, cleaning supplies, sheets all over the floor and we had a hard time getting our luggage down the hall (I even took pictures). The room had bare necessities and was very outdated. The mattress was very old and boughed in the middle and there was a very rickety old wooden table to put my luggage on. Stains on wall and floor - cheap furnishings!! Noise outside window from children playing and drunken passers-by was very annoying. |

Very conveniently situated through 4 metro exits. At a walkable distance from Gare du Nord (on our way to the Charles de Gaule Airport). In a lively district of Paris. |

The staff was really friendly and helpful, and the hotel is well placed in Paris. The premises are extremely poor, not much clean nor comfortable, and the hotel is really expansive for what they can offer. |

The hotel was an attractive building, not much traffic at night. Our bedroom had 2 windows, so plenty of light. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. the breakfast was excellent for the price. Plumbing in the bathroom seemed to be as old as the hotel but the water was nice and hot and plenty of force |

one of the beds in the twin-bed room was a double bed. location was pretty ok and nearby metro, althouth it was not that excitin'. Cleanness. It was a hostel rather than a ranked 2 star hotel. The breakfast served was definitely a hostel style, however bf stuff was nice. One of the stuff in the reception was really rude and always eatin' sth when talkin to you without any eye contact. They do have ants in the bathroom everyday. seems a lit bit noisy durin the night if the window is open. Room was quite out of date and need upgrade. The front door was always locked by the reception after 9 pm and seemed to be dangerous in this area. |

it was relatively central, inexpensive. reception staff were helpful, room was large, a lot of original features to the hotel and the church opposite was inspiring. breakfast was good and plently provided. the hall outside the bedroom was poorly lit the ceiling was peeling and there was a smell of damp in the hall. This is a basic hotel ideal for sight seeing if you are out most of the day and just looking for somewhere to sleep over. |

Very good location. Walkable from both Gare du Nord and Gare du L'Est and 20 mins from Louvre. No pocket burns Breakfast was limited. Lift was very small. No separate baggage rooms. had to leave the baggages in reception hall after checking out. |
