The hotel room was small, but very nice and clean with modern design and comfortable new bathroom. The staff was helpful and friendly. The location was great near restaurants, cafes, supermarket, Air France buses to Orly/CDG airports and Montparnasse station. On a quiet street. The hotel is undergoing renovation and there was scaffolding in front of my room.

The location is great and near the Air France buses to Orly or Charles de Gualle Airports. In a busy area on a quiet street. The hotel is going through renovations. There was scaffolding in front of my window and anyone from the street could have walked up the steps and gotten into my room. Very insecure. Soom of the rooms are a bit run down and dirty and need to be renovated, of which they seem to be doing. Ask for a renovated room.

Centrally located next to the Montparnasse train and metro station. Surrounded by restaurants and cafes. This is a barebones place to stay. The rooms are sparse, small and undecorated - the "lobby" is literally a man at a desk in a small room. If you're looking for budget accommodations in Montparnasse, and all you require is a safe, clean bed to sleep in then this will suffice. Bring your own toiletries (soap/shampoo/conditioner) and spend most of your time exploring the beautiful city - away from the hotel!

Good location/price friendly staff If there were such things as sound proofing regulations I am certain this hotel would not meet any, had trouble sleeping everything from noise coming both from inside and outside the hotel

Location is excellent in terms of access to public transportation and the large number of restaurant that are located in the vicinity of the hotel. Hotel staff is very helpful & warm in their behaviour. There are no air conditioning. This could cause discomfort depending on which time of the year you are staying in the hotel. I stayed with my wife and 2 year old daughter in a standard double bed room, which was smaller in size than we expected. But this is manageable to live with.

The location of the hotel. It's close to many transport (many Metro lines, bus lines and one of the main train stations). It's also close to restaurants, bars and clubs. Only the lack of a heating thermostat. However, by closing and opening the radiators properly, and alternating the open window... You can not die from heat or cold! Everything else is as specified in the other answers. ** The verdict is still positive in general **

Excellent location close to Gare Montparnasse and 2 metro lines. Many grocery stores and shops in the neighbourhood. My room was fine - nothing fancy but functional and a good price for Paris. Free wifi is always good. I would stay again.

The only thing that was nice about the hotel was the location but location should not be a very big factor in choosing a place to stay in Paris because it is such a big city that you have to take the metro to get anywhere in the city I would not suggest staying at the Central Paris Hotel. The staff was not accommodating and gave us false information. The rooms did not have showers and the beds were uncomfortable. Overall I was not happy with the service the hotel provided.

Great value for money, and great location. I didn't know that "shower" means hand-held shower-attachment; I was expecting it to be attached to the wall!

It was near central station and in a quite good nightlife place It was totally destroyed, the doors and walls were literally falling into pieces. The door and walls were so thin that I could hear the voice from outside and form the other room and the cleaning lady was trying to enter two times in my room, I don't know for which reason!

Location. The room needed a good coat of paint but, otherwise was clean. We only stayed one night and so perhaps not fair to judge the staff on this. Great location but rather seedy appearance and run down looking.

Good location just off famous Montparnasse street of Theatres and restaurants, the Rue de la Gaite. Intennally very noisy. The bathroom in the next door room had been extended into the hanging cupboard space in my third floor room (31) without any sound insulation, with the result that every time the person next door used the bathroom the sound came through loud and clear to my room - throughout the night. I had my room changed to another (50) in which the noises in the night seemed to come from an uncarpeted room on the floor above

Room was clean and brand new. Looked like it had just been renovated, carpets were spotless. Bathroom was super clean with great shower that always had hot water but as to be expected it was tiny. Room was cleaned with new towels everyday. Elevator was big enough for 2 people and 2 pieces of luggage and worked fine. Location was good, plenty of cafes and places to eat and drink around hotel. Also a few different metro lines within a block as well as the Gare Montparnasse. Montparnasse Tower right around the corner, go to the top of it at night and see the whole city from the observation deck! Worth every euro. We did not eat the breakfast or really interact with the staff but the few times we spoke they seemed pleasant. We spoke french so we were fine but im fairly certain not all of them spoke english. If you are looking for a clean, cheap place to stay in good location close to metro then stay here. Not a tourist area. Bed was very hard but we stayed 5 nights and survived. Like other reviews state it was a little tricky to find the hotel. We had planned on walking from metro so we had a google map printed out. We ended up taking a cab because metro stations were closed in between there and airport because of police activity. If we didnt have that map the taxi driver would not have found it. Took a taxi another night and he didnt know where it was either. Definitely print out a map of the area before you go!
