Good location of the hotel, next to a Subway station and a supermarket plus a friendly staff. "Recently renovated" is not necessarily the correct way to describe the rooms and building itself. Putting new paint on old hardware does simply not justify such a description neither are the beds comfortable and big enoughl for people above 1.90m. |

Frendly, cheerful staff. Good breakfast. Comfortable bed. Hot water and clean wash-hand basin. Close to Underground. Nowhere to position the shower. Dim toilet. Traffic noise late at night. |

I didn't like the fact that the floor tiles were all broken on the floor of the bathroom. There was some sort of black mould growing on the wall tiles of the bathroom. Whilst the bath, basin and toilet were spotless, the taps and shower head should all have been replaced. The wallpaper was not only peeling off the walls but still came in cigarette yellow and the ceiling paper was all sagging because of a water leak at some point in the room above. The beds were about a foot off the floor and my child thought they were beds for hobbits. There were the oldest bollsters on the planet acting as pillows in the room. We were on the noisiest street in Paris, beside a hospital and the walls were paper-thin so we got no sleep any night. |

Room 65 (top floor): traces of water on carpet and quilt presumably from ceiling before it was repaired; most tiny lift ever seen! |

The room was dirty with door lock broken. However, the hotel staff rejected to fix it or swap room for us. Besides, the internet service is out of order and the hotel staff not willing to fix it as well. The hotel is not providing service as it should. |

It was very easy to come and go at odd hours - 24 hour access. It's very conveniently within a couple of minutes walk of two metro stations. Cite Universite is a 15 minute walk away. There is a supermarket right next door. This hotel is good if you need a cheap place to sleep for a few hours a day. The desk staff I saw spoke English. Ask for a room to the rear of the hotel - much less road noise. The bathroom wasn't clean - bad mold on the shower attachments. Some water damage showing through wall to the bathroom. Toilet roll was not in abundant supply. Internet access wasn't available on my first day. I didn't get the chance to ask about it after that. No clock radio in my room. TV remote control didn't work. No kettle. I didn't complain about any of this: I only used my room for a a few hours each day, coming in and leaving at ridiculous hours. |

Location, rooms are deacent size, staff is ok, everything is in place. Rooms looking at the street are noisy with open window and during summer it is hard not to open it as there is no aircondition. |

great size rooms with good size bathroom/toilet. definitely 2 star, but with room to move. the maids didn't do a very good job... we got one not two towels, and they didn't replace toilet paper, which we then ran out of. but when we asked the guy at the front desk they got us what we needed so there was no harm done. the hotel was also not as central as some people might want for paris. but for us it was perfec t- it's within the old city walls and close to metro |

Room clean, staff cheerful + helpful. Close to Metro station. Air conditioning would have been a godsend, as the weather was very hot and the traffic outside too noisy to allow us to keep the window open at night. |

Good location, pleasant people It was very hot in the rooms, even when the evening was cool. We requested a fan but were ignored and went and bought our own. Not disabled accessible. |

The location is good as the hotel is very close to metro stations. There's a supermarket just by the hotel. The hotel is in need of serious renovation. The 2 person elevator is very small. Our beds were uncomfortable. Bottom line, if location is what you care about the most and you think the price you're paying is fair for a 2 star hotel in Paris this might be the place for you since it has nothing to offer but the location. |
