The hotel was in a prime location. We stayed here after a day trip to St. Emilion and were excited to be in a nice hotel. The lobby and hallways of the hotel were very worn. As well, the following morning, a crew of workers came to work on the hotel and took over the hallway (maybe to renovate?) it, with work starting first thing in the morning immediate in front on our room and down the hallway. The room itself was great, and in clean, good condition. We ate downstairs at the hotel restaurant, which I cannot recommend. Both my wife and I had dishes that were absolutely dreadful. I am not the type to complain about my food. I do not send food back, so please trust me when I suggest avoiding the restaurant.

This is a typical Mercure which is not very stimulating, however close to the centre (10 min walk to grand theatre) and has a parking lot underneath the hotel The room was perfectly ok, but had no soul.....

The breakfast restaurant is beautifully located on the top of the building with a beautiful view of the river. The hotel also has a very nice deck on the roof which gives a fantastic view of the city. The room I stayed in was very spacious. There was not a lot of wardrobes and drawers, I would have appreciated more. My room was very strange. The toilet was in a space separate to the sink and the shower which I found very inconvenient.

Very clean and recently renovated. The bed was really comfortable and the shower fantastic. The hotel is well located - not dead centre, but within 5 minutes walk of busy night-life. Right behind is a lovely, quiet part of the city with quaint cafés and shops. It was easy to find a car-parking place along the river front, as the back streets are full. The hotel is part of a run-down business complex and is very business orientated. The staff were a little cold. Our room looked out over the inner part of the complex, which was undergoing building repairs and which started at 8am! Also, the escalators (which were right under our window) started up at 7.30am.

Very clean modern hotel, great restaurant on roof top for breakfast with fantastic views. Shame the rooftop resturant wasn't open, even just as a bar at night time. The car park is actually a public car park. It is v close to hotel but you can not pay the hotel you must use a pay machine. The car park is therefore open to all, so not as secure as a private hotal car park.

The location is great and the rooms were clean. We were given a room next to the elevator that made so much noise we only slept half the night. We did complain before the evening but they said that they did not have any other room. They changed our room to a small one and only gave €25 off the first room because of the noise, we did not feel this was enough but I had had it! We wanted a quick after dinner drink in the bar at 9.45 pm but it was closed - it is suppose to close at 10pm. I would never stay at this hotel again.

Excellent situation. Very kind people at reception (speaking with them in French). "Superior room" is wide enough. Bordeaux city sights from the top terrace. Car park payment procedure. We were given different exit tickets at reception and when we tryied to go out of the car park we found that we were given wrong instructions on how to use them in two occasions, which implied remarkable delays in our timetable. Breakfast is expensive 15 € according to what is offered (quality and variety). No room windows can be opened and it smelled bad a few minutes every time we got into it (before air conditioned started removing bad smelling).

Very nice, really helpful, english speaking staff. I do apreciate a good, non problematic, ambience.Very nice design of the rooms ( superiors -they are brant new) -every particular has been chosen with a taste and canon-clean,renovated-I like a dark red curtaines ( inspite of that, I dont like a red colour)but in this room it was lively and warm.I Like also a little kattle for making a coffee or tea - nice and obviously wifi which was for free ( however sometimes I had disconections -but it was cool anyway. The only thing( I am a woman I I m paying attension to this )which I would like and recomend in this room is,a mirror-EVEN small one ( additional mirror in a room, exept this one in a bathroom ( the best close to window) where once can do a make up for example in a daylight ;)))
