We were in Room 2 on the ground floor next to the dining room. The room was horrible - yellow/brown walls, window so high you couldn't see out so very dark. Air con unit leaked water when switched on. Noise from dining room - staff chatting etc.

room design was cute, close to the Lyon station( it only takes 5min of walking)

the receptioner doesnt speak English very much, and i didnt see any nice part. (i mean they are just doing their job, and nothing special) although the hotel is close to the Lyon and other station, it took me a lot of time to find where it was, when i visited 1st time.

The staffs are friendly. They help us by providing information on how to reach our interested place. The location is perfect. It is located 5 minutes walk to Gare de Lyon. Metro, bus and tgv are all there.

It's a good, basic hotel. Reception staff were friendly and put up with my French. It's very convenient for Gare de Lyon and the Palais Omnisports at Bercy

We had a twin room and the single beds are incredibly narrow. Breakfast is well over priced

Conveniently situated for the rail network. Helpful and friendly staff. Comfortable room.

Really, nothing, except for it's location!!!

First of all, I asked for 1 room for 4 guests. We were given 2 rooms in different floors. But my main gripe is the moldy grout in the shower and toilet, that at 8 pm we had to look for a store that would sell us bathroom cleaners. We didn't take a shower that evening because we had to let the toilet cleaner sit on the grout overnight. The room smelled musty. The rooms weren't sound proofed so we heard all the commotion from busy Gare du Lyon. My sisters in the other floor heard the guests walking and slamming doors in the next room at 5 am. Lastly, in my room, there was this architectural drop on the ceiling close to my side of the bed, where I knocked my head on when I got up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. I am 5 feet tall and I still hit my head. This is a 3 star hotel and I wondered why.

The staff was very attentive and helpful (they spoke english). Great location.

The staff was great! The hotel is located about a 5 minute walk from Gare de Lyon train station. They helped to answer our questions and made me confident that they could help with anything we needed. The room was small (a double room w/ 2 single beds) but perfect for our needs (budget, located near train station). We did not try the breakfast as the cafe on the same block offered a breakfast option for 2.50 euro cheaper. The neighborhood was safe and had tons of dining options. We enjoyed a Thai restaurant (Blue Siam) that was located near-by and was excellent. Hotel had a small but serviceable elevator and the beds were more comfortable than they look. The hair dryer in our room (#44 on Oct. 14, 2011) didn't work but staff was nice and helpful to us. I would recommend it to friends and family.

The walls are thin so noises inside the hotel carry. However the traffic noise is almost totally blocked out when you close the window. The breakfast is (in my humble opinion) overpriced as compared to the local cafes. The room is small and lacks luxury but falls within the European expectations of a 3 star budget hotel.

This is a really small hotel. Everything are very tight, no more space. The facility not good.

Location and price were good. The room was clean and quiet. The staff (those of them who speaks English) was helpful. No bedbugs or mice were found :)

Didn't like: - strange man in a durty T-short on the reception desk two evenings of our stay - bad smell and old look in hotel halls (in the rooms it was OK) - window view was a narrow slot between two walls which gives no daylight - the room was dark: it was only one working lamp above the bed and the second one with no bulb. I could ask a bulb only second day of my stay as people on reception desk doesn't speak English - the hole in the shower bottom doesn't work so water couldn't come out - Sex cabaret nearby the hotel
