We were in Room 2 on the ground floor next to the dining room. The room was horrible - yellow/brown walls, window so high you couldn't see out so very dark. Air con unit leaked water when switched on. Noise from dining room - staff chatting etc.

Close to train station.

Small outdated room and bathroom. Interior noise from other rooms. Stayed in five hotels in Rome and Paris. This seems to be what you get in this price range.

I liked the hotel but I found the double room quite small with a strange shower where you could see a very unpainted ceiling through the shower ceiling. The elevator was also very small so that only one person and luggage could get in. The breakfast room was too small so in the morning when we wanted to eat there was a large German group who had taken every seat. There were not enough bowls, etc. So I would not stay there again.

Very convenient for Gare du Lyon. Close to the Seine easy walk to Ile du Cite. Basic facilities but everything needed fo a quick overnigh stay

The staffs are friendly. They help us by providing information on how to reach our interested place. The location is perfect. It is located 5 minutes walk to Gare de Lyon. Metro, bus and tgv are all there.

Conveniently situated for the rail network. Helpful and friendly staff. Comfortable room.

Location was great next to gare de lyon train station. It was perfect since we arrived in Paris so late by train. Facilities were clean and not bad for the price.

Had to pay for the breakfast each day, the only place we had to do that during our three week trip in Europe.

The staff was great! The hotel is located about a 5 minute walk from Gare de Lyon train station. They helped to answer our questions and made me confident that they could help with anything we needed. The room was small (a double room w/ 2 single beds) but perfect for our needs (budget, located near train station). We did not try the breakfast as the cafe on the same block offered a breakfast option for 2.50 euro cheaper. The neighborhood was safe and had tons of dining options. We enjoyed a Thai restaurant (Blue Siam) that was located near-by and was excellent. Hotel had a small but serviceable elevator and the beds were more comfortable than they look. The hair dryer in our room (#44 on Oct. 14, 2011) didn't work but staff was nice and helpful to us. I would recommend it to friends and family.

The walls are thin so noises inside the hotel carry. However the traffic noise is almost totally blocked out when you close the window. The breakfast is (in my humble opinion) overpriced as compared to the local cafes. The room is small and lacks luxury but falls within the European expectations of a 3 star budget hotel.

It was very well located, very clean, the staff very polite and when asked for help very helpful.

Everything was perfect

The personal is very kind and it's placed in a very good position, close to the Gare the Lyon subway stop and the Bastille monument with a bunch of supermarkets if you don't want to spend too much money.

The staff was very friendly. They were willing to help whenever we had a question. It was a very pleasant stay.

Close to rail station

Not a three star, at best a 1 star. Although the staff were nice and helpful, the room was old and smelly. Carpet was dirty and very old, painted over wall paper, shower curtain was disgustingly dirty....yet the bathroom was clean itself. Would not recommend...last year stayed at a lovely hotel in the trocadero area, that was a two star and much nicer.

- Location is good 5 min from Gare de Lyon and good access to center of Paris by M1, A. - Room is not so small than I expected by price.

- Staff in front desk is not quick in action and seems to have no hospitality. It makes bad impression at the beginning.
