We liked the location for our trip near the tourist sites. Also the price was great and the staff was very friendly. Since our room was the farthest from the front desk area, we had to stand in the hallway in order to get wifi.

Was worried it was going to be a run down hotel for the price, but was pleasantly surpised. This was really the only hotel that excepted a family of 5 without paying an arm and a leg.

The Hotel Crocus is an inexpensive hotel within walking distance (10 minutes) from the WWII memorial museum. The staff is friendly (most spoke english) and helped with directions and information. It is really clean. One of the best 2star hotels

The room was small but, for the price, good value. Staff were most helpful in all respects and all seemed to speak good English. Menu was the same on each day and, after three days, we could have wished for a change.

A very fair hotel, cheaply priced and pretty ideal for access to the Normandy coast, Bayeaux and other sights. Comfortable economy rooms, nothing to shout about but perfectly clean. Very helpful staff and a good breakfast.

Although he rooms were a bit small they were adequate. Food was excellent and everything was clesn. Overall comfortable and ideal for visiting all the Nomandie landings and Museums. Rooms were a bit small and had no draws.

We live in France, and always stay at the Hotel Crocus when visiting Caen. It offers good value, the staff are helpful and friendly, and the food not expensive. There is easy access to the town, hospitals, museums, and castle.

I have now completed my 4th visit and still think that this is a fantastic hotel and EXCELLENT value for money. I have read some of the other comments and wonder why the writers did not book the Hilton or The Ritz. Yes the bathroom is small, but perfectly formed. As far as eating is concerned, I have been to two other restaurants, and had nice meals, no more than 5 minutes walk away. At 22.50 Euros per night, the whole package represents very good value for money and, above all, the place is clean, comfortable and the staff are very willing to help and friendly.

Pleasent surprise with dinner after first impression of hotel After informing hotel I wanted to leave early & offering to pay my bill that night,myself my family & another family were unable to pay our bills.We were told to leave our keys in our rooms & leave via the fire escape!

English speaking (something pretty rare within France!) Room was less than 9 squared meters. The bathroom was the real toilette of an aircraft.. Not very confortable if you are taller than 120 cm (no comment concerning the shower with no light!)
