Free Wifi, good value, location for motorways. Had evening dinner which was awful. Stale bread, dreadful food, very poor service. Waitress took knife and fork off plate to be re-used for main course. I refused the offer! |

A good base for touring the Normandy landing beaches, the rooms were basic but clean and functional, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast good value and plentyful. We had a meal one evening in the resturant which was exellent and very good value 12 euros for a good 3 course meal. 3 miles from city centre. |

Friendly and helpful reception. Good food both dinner and continental breakfast (included in price ). Quiet room after change. Room small for two people and shower room small also with the 'loo' in the smallest space imaginable. And, loo seat was loose needing repair. |

The hotel was good for the price, but not quite as comfortable as we would have liked. |

The staff were very friendly The room was cramped, dirty & generally unpleasant, if I could have got another hotel at that time of night I would have left. |

The price The location was in an industrial park. Without a car it was so isolated. This should be stated on the web site. |

The staff were excellent & only too pleased to help with anything. The broken spout on the teapot & the cracked & chipped tea cups. Air conditioning would help the stuffy odours in rooms. |

Staff were very friendly and even at busy times always keen to help. Very efficient. The rooms are really too small with a wet room rather than a proper bathroom. Very much like a caravan. |

The proxiamety to the Caen Memorial itself, approx 500mtrs. The menu was good and also the food. The staff were helpful and changed one of the rooms from a double to a twin without any fuss. The hotel rooms we had were 'Musty' smelling and basic. The room we had booked had strong evidence of being broken into previously so we asked to be changed which they did. |

Hotel personnel, without exception, were very pleasant and helpful. They tried hard to make up for initial disappointment on finding the room we had booked was unavailable. Tiny bathroom. |

The fact that the reception desk was manned until 23.00 pm, which was useful as our ferry docked at 21.30 pm. Also the breakfast was nicely laid out & ready for early risers. |

Location suitable for visiting some of the d Day beaches W.C. / shower area was far too small. The toilet was partly obstructed by the basin and could only be used by sitting on it at an angle and due to having legs meant the door could not be shut. The lounge area was one sofa which seats 3 people and is located in the entrance hall and is therefore not a sociable place. There is only 3 tables with seats outside. The other tables do no have seats therefore whn people which to saocialise they either have to remain in the dining area or carry their chairs outside. The food from the brasserie is obviously pre cooked and reheated reflecting in the quality of the dinners. |

My wife and I suffered multiple bites from either Cimex or fleas. I have written to the hotel and emailed photos of the bites. I have yet to hear from them, but I will pursue it from a public health perspective. A.R. Colon, MD, PhD |
