the big bathtube gives you excellent relaxation after a long busy day
Sometimes you can feel a smell of smoke...
Quality quiet location. Close to great restaurants and metro. Polite and helpful staff. Small hotel. Comfortable, nicely appointed bed-room
Position, restaurants in surrounding area, convenience to Metro, the welcome
No kettle in room for tea
Lovely rooms with good bathrooms and comfortable beds. (We had 3 rooms altogether.) One room had a constant humming sound/ vibration that kept us awake but we were given an alternative for the second night of our stay. Nice area. I would book again.
Breakfast was good but expensive, especially as we didn't eat much.
What I liked is that it's not a very big big hotel, but mid size, where people look after you, at the check-in it was a warm welcome, room was very lovely, friendly personnel all around, and nice breakfast ...
the breakfast is to close to the entrance , what can be a bit cold if not carful, but honestly, it did not bother me
Staff of reception
The hotel staff was so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. This was our first visit to Paris and the view of the Eiffel Tower from our room at night was magnificent. Can't say enough great things.
Balcony, street view, bed is conform, room is clean, love the wood floor. The space of room is fairly big in city center like Paris.
Breakfaste place is not so friendly. The rest room no door, only a thin curtain which I don't like.
The hotel was clean, friendly, stylish..
The hotel is a little far from the centre (about 8 stops on the Metro) considering the price.
Parisian style Good transport links - close to Metro Helpful staff
Breakfast - not much variety Lift light didn't work for the first few days
The superior room meets all your expectations. The metro station is max 300 meters from the hotel and there are also many shops around. Wifi is fast. If you have a laptop, the offer LAN network cable.
We booked a classic room at first, but on arrival, the room was far from what they showed on their booking.com profile. Furthermore it was smelling of smoke. After a quick call to the reception, we were upgraded to a superior room at no extra cost. 20€ per person for the breakfast is too expensive. You cna buy some pastries, fruits, baguette juice and enjoy them in your room, because they offer a hot water kettler in the superior room.
Comfortable beds Good location Clean Large bathroom
Receptionist could be a little more charming
Located between two train stations, cafes, pharmacies within walking distance, quiet neighborhood
Stayed at Hotel Banville with my wife for four days. It is perfectly situated in the 17th arr. and close to two metro stations and Port Maillot which is the bus station. The hotel itself is clean and pleasantly decorated with bedrooms to match. The rooms are spacious in comparison to other Parisian hotels. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful, especially Fahita and Rugi. All in all, an excellent hotel in an excellent location and good value for money. Highly recommended.
Nothing to dislike.
We stayed in a Deluxe room called Theodor de Banville, on the 6th floor. Quaint a quirky lift took us up to a nice, spacious room with open plan bath. Very romantic! There was a cute little balcony and if we stood on tip toes you could see the top of the Eiffel Tower! Staff were very attentive and friendly, although I don't feel breakfast was quite at 20 euro each standard when you can grab coffee and pastry for 4euro by the metro stop. Nevertheless! Beautiful room, lovely in room coffee, peaceful view and I would absolutely go again!!
Breakfast wouldn't have been worth 20 euro each.
The staff are good
The bath was leaking; the room has bad smell.
The boutique style of the hotel. Excellent breakfast Nice and quiet Very, very helpful staff
It's a bit of a distance from central Paris. It was advertized as a 'city view' room but it was on the first floor. The room was quite small
Friendly and attentive staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely clean, comfortable room with all necessary items catered. Great location. Local amenities and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.
Being picky here as we loved this hotel.....water wasn't hot on arrival and we were told that was as hot as it gets. Worrying as it was luke warm at best. However this was quickly rectified and we had lovely hot baths the rest of our stay. Strange to tell us that it wouldn't get hotter when it was clearly not even close to shower/bath temperature. Light went out in lift and wasn't fixed before we left so lift journeys were in the dark. A little odd when sharing with other people but we were there at the weekend so perhaps the engineer couldn't attend.
We travelled to Paris as a family we three girls aged 12, 10 and 5 , the hotel was a delight to stay in from start to finish, the staff were lovely and very helpful, the rooms were luxury and the girls were thrilled. The hotel was walking distance to most of the attractions and there were many fine restaurants locally. We would definitely make a return visit, and recommend to our friends and family.
réceptionnist was very kind and helpful
Great location and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Love that the rooms are all decorated differently, we had 3 which were all really lovely.
We stayed in the Marie Room which was simply stunning.
The room wasn't as modern as being showed in the pictures, I had a lot of research before booking this hotel, from my point of view the double bed room was actually quite familiar like what the other three star hotels can offer, nothing special! The location wise, it is about 2mins walk from the metro station which is good, but need to bear in mind or budget on it, as pretty much everywhere you will need to go (mainly those major tourism spots)， you generally need to take the metro, otherwise, easily one hour walk is generally needed to go anywhere.
