Not very much! Reservation for 4 nights; left after 2 nights because shower/toilet fixtures did not work properly; received an unsolicited wake-up call early Saturday. Advised Best Westen Hotels that this hotel does not meet their usual 3 star standards. |

excellent location. good valve for money. large room Stayed in large suite on top flour. Rooms tatty, broken blinds, paint pealing off wall and smell of damp in corridor. Needed to use intetnet to check flights home and none available. But not bad for the price.great location for the Normandy beaches. |

Very close to restaurants & local sites of interest. Good road links to the surrounding area. Also very quiet at night. The twin room that we had was very small, well below average size compared to similarly priced hotels. This was probably due to the age of the hotel. Also, the staff were very slow to refill items at breakfast, such as coffee, fruit juice, croissants etc.. |

The apartment was a good size and very clean. The staff were really helpful. The apartment is beginning to look quite 'tired' the blinds are abit cracked and there is a general air of 'needing a new paint'. |

Good location in the centre of town, room rate fair and good safe parking as we were on a motorcycle. Room very hot so had to slee with the window open, and as the room was above a street, there was a lot of noise. |

Centrally situated for both Bayeux sights and access to the d Day beaches. Well signposted access. Quiet location. I will recommend the hotel but with the following reservations (next box) The Restaurant le 7ème Art is now closed.Breakfast adequate but overpriced at 11€. Hot water for tea was never more than lukewarm, same with coffee (prepared elsewhere and kept in a thermos jug.) |

It was centrally located in the charming old town of Bayeux, so was easy to walk around the centre of town. The rooms smelled very smoky inside, and the location of our rooms right above the street was very noisy from the traffic. |

Booking out!!!!! I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the hotel. I do not consider Best Western to be a Budget hotel chain but the standard of the rooms in this hotel was disgraceful. Although the rooms had been fairly recently decorated and were reasonably clean, they were dingy and very musty. The beds were the worst I have ever experienced. The bathrooms were disgraceful. Cracked dingy tiles, very stained/limescaled toilet, showerhead not attached to the wall. |

the hotel was well positioned to explore Bayeux on foot. Our room and bathroom were clean we enjoyed our dinner-wine and breakfast we thought were expensive Service at dinner and for a pre-dinner drink was poor. The charge for car parking on site was steep especially as there was a large public car park alongside the hotel which we could have used. |

We thought the evening meal was only adequate for the price and poorly presented. For example they missed out a course and by then it was too late to have it!! |
