Hôtel de Cabourg  

Great price in a very good location. Room was adequate for my needs since I really only used it for sleeping and showering. The courtyard is a pleasant place to relax with friends at night.

The front desk is often left unattended (particularly at night)leaving hotel guests waiting in the street for entry until the person returns to the desk. Elevator stops on landings between floors making it necessary to walk down or up a flight. This is not great for disabled people and guests with a lot of luggage. However, it is better than nothing.

The location was good in that we were participating in the Paris marathon. The staff were friendly and the room was clean. Communication was good prior to arrival with prompt replies when we required a cot. They were willing however to allow us to hire a cot because they were unable to supply one.

The rooms and the hotel were tired looking and in deserate need of refurbishment in the interior decoration and facilities. The rooms were very small particulary the bathrooms (an over weight client would have struggled badly). In fairness we were advised by email of small rooms prior to arrival because we had need of a baby cot which they were unable to supply. There was also evidence of damp in some rooms.

just a quick metro ride to any sight, staff very helpfull. some nice inexpensive resturants in area. overall good location

insulation of rooms could be better but almost all other guests were quiet

the location is excellent, rooms small but cozy and clean with functional furniture

narrow and curving stairs without lift, we were glad to have only our backpacks as a luggage. but it is a building historical part of paris

Friendly and clean.

This is an observation and should not put you off. The hotel could do with a bit of a makeover but I hope they don't as they could then charge much more. The sparse breakfast is normal for hotels in Paris.

Location is good. Easy transportation, Near by many shops and suppermarkets

I read befor i go about the rudness of teh Hotel staff but it was much worth then the reviews.. They have no idea about how to treat Gast. Other thing is really annoying is the internet. They charge you 2 Euros for 24 Hours but you have to pay for the whole stay, This mean you can not buy only 24 hours except the day befor your departure ?!!, otherwise you will pay for the whole stay. The walls are so so so thin that it is difficult to know that people in the next room talking to you or to eachother. No privacy at all.. all your moves and talkes even the TV is 100% clear sound in your room....

The Pianist living in the room upstairs, who the created the perfect Parisian atmosphere with his music :) Also the location is good and the staff is friendly, good value for your money.

The room is a too small for 2 persons and you have to pay to use the wi-fi.

Good location. There is metro station very near to the hotel, a lot of cafes, and restaurants. There is private bathroom and it was ok. Good value for this money in that location of Paris.

There is no elevator. The room is very small. It was not very clean in the room. It needs to be renovate. The shower cabin was very tiny.

Location, price, comfort, would definitely come back

Good location, close to 2 metro stations. A lot of resaturants and bars around. Very close from the hotel there is a supermarket open until 23.50. The hotel is quiet, but room walls are rather thin and you can hear other people going stairs and closing doors. Stairway is narrow and stairs are steep, but this is usual for many Paris hotels located in old buildings. Room and bathroom were clean. Receptionist was very nice and polite.

There is no wide choice for breakfast (croissant, baguette, butter, jam, coffee or tea). Breakfast was served without plate, which was for me a bit non-comfortable.
