This hotel is 320 yards from Ecole Militaire Metro Station, which goes directly to the Opéra Garnier. It is a 6-minute walk from Champs de Mars. All rooms are non-smoking and include a flat-screen TV....

In the very heart of Paris, just a quarter mile from the Louvre, Hotel Montpensier features a 24-hour front desk and free Wi-Fi access in all areas. All rooms are serviced by an elevator.
Score from 858 reviews Good
Doesn't quite live up to its 4 star status.
Very dated and tired. Could do with a big spruce up. No business centre. Cannot believe that they have their standard rooms priced at 600 Euros!!
The pictures have nothing to do with the reality, old, poor, bad smell, not worthy!!!
Great location. Shopping on your doorstep. We were upgraded to room with wonderful view. Excellent room service.
Could have used a kettle in room.
The location off Toledo was great (if a little noisy at night time)
Bathroom smells bad coming from the pipes; bathroom lights so dim it's hard to shave; Elevators are dangerous as when elevator stops, elevator floor is not even with exit; Staff extremely rude: don't even what to call for a taxi; False charge for city "surtaxe"; Duct tape on walls to patch holes; Very dirty carpets; Hotel on the verge of being insalubrious. They need to close down this place.
location, quietness of the room, street view is nice. Art deco feel to the hotel. easy to navigate around Paris from. the Bond St of Paris.
female staff at desk was very rude, breakfast is very basic & expensive, hotel apart from lobby and breakfast room needs modernising, carpets need to be replaced. funny old small in the room had to spray parfum to tone the small down.
POSITION. SOME STAFF VERY HELPFUL
RATHER RUNDOWN CARPETS NEEDED REPLACEMENT some STAFF MOST UNPLEASANT.
The location was excellent for all the things we wanted to do.
However the hotel was under construction, with lots of noise before 8:00 am. The bathroom was less than satisfactory with a towel bar coming off the wall and a shower head that sprayed water everywhere except on me!
We could go any direction and see something wonderful. Metro was close. World class shopping all around.
The hotel foyer looks like a bad dream. Dark. Dated. The elevators are slow and small and dark. Loud drilling on concrete that vibrates your room starts early. Did I say the foyer is Dark?
The excellent localization, very nice and helpful staff, good quality of the room.
When entering the hotel it seems that nobody take cares of first impression: ugly decorations, little mess.
though I told that I would pay by cash at the chek-in time, the hotel made a credit card payment without asking and didn't meet my request to correct that.
-Price (with reduction) was about 160 euro per night! This is absolutely noncence for a very small room, no clean bathtowels and a not included breakfeast. The prices called at the hotel are even much higher: more or less 600 euro per night for a standard room. The only reason for this may be the fact that this hotel is in one of the most pricely shoppingstreet in Paris, in which also is the Elysee.
Location, Staff, Use of public transport
Room size is like toilet room
General state of entrance, elevator, Parking in surrounding of the Hotel
Location is good
Dirty Old hotel Staff not nice
Could see the consuls. Laduree good for breakfast. Another one nearby but expensive.
Dated decor. Needs complete internal renovation. Cramped room. Heavy door impossible for children. Broken glas on revolving door. Few cafés open for dinner and lunch.
stuff , quality, awful rooms, bad reseptionist except Francesco who was polite. I paid superior room and it was fluided from the toilet. It was at 1st floor and the reseptionists deceaved me. For revenge asked me to pay the tax. The worst hotel in Paris
It's in an amazing location, staff was fine, you know what you're getting, not gonna be super fancy but has all you need, even if mini bar and for that price I was really happy
Mattresses are good. Location is very good. But make sure you land in south airport not north. Entertainment not bad.
That we had to pay deposit for remote controls for TV. The food court ( although many choices) but not delicious. The food was blend with not much taste. Reminded me of my college cafeteria. The wifi 90% of the time does not work and if it does extremely slow.
The location is amazing
The room was too old, in desperate need for renovation.
air-condition did work and construction still going on after a few years
