I wanted the children to experience a small French family hotel and this was perfect - Very friendly, helpful, good French breakfast in the garden next morning - good stop off for the Alps, cafes/restuarants nearby. Big family room only disadvantage was TGV nearby so had to keep windows shut. |

Very friendly reception. Great mattresses - this is amazing as even expensive hotels often fail to provide this. Charming country manor style hotel - not luxurious but comfortable, friendly and much more pleasant than a sterile standard hotel. And breakfast was served in the lovely (English style) garden. Restaurant tip - a 7 minute walk from the hotel, in the town of Chagny - a great grill restaurant called Le Grenier a Sel. It's located in a 16th century wine "cave" and the meat is grilled above a wood fire in the restaurant. Wonderful atmosphere. |

The owner and his wife are very kind and helpful. Free secured parking. The breakfast is not worth for 7 Euros. A bigger diversity of the dishes avaialble would have been appreciated. Eventually ask the day before what the guests want to have in the morning of the next day. This would help to optimise the breakfast. |

Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft des Hotelchefs und seiner Mitarbeiter. Das Hotel und die Zimmer waren für uns so typisch französisch, wie man es sich wünscht. Die künstlerische Ausstattung hat besonderen Reiz. Vielen dank für einen besonderen Aufenthalt! |

La propreté, l'accueil des propriétaires, et le petit salon où nous avons pris le petit déjeuner, trés copieux Les chambres mal insonorisées, dues surtout au fait que les clients rentrent à n'importe quelle heure sans aucun respect pour le sommeil des autres ! |

Zeer vriendelijk en attent personeel. Een prachtige tuin, waarin bij beter weer ook ontbeten kan worden. Een uitstekend ontbijt. Rustige kamer met goede bedden en goed sanitair. |

Echt Frans hotelletje, waar we hartelijk werden ontvangen. De 4 pers. kamer was ruim en schoon, het was er rustig en ook het ontbijt was prima verzorgd. |

Die sehr persönliche Behandlung durch die Gastgeber. Wir wurden auf der Rückfahrt sogar zu einem Gratiskaffee eingeladen und konnten uns mit dem perfekt Deutsch sprechenden Hausherrn wunderbar unterhalten. Ein Glanzpunkt war das Frühstück im hauseigenen Garten hinter dem Haus. Bei Gelegenheit kommen wir wieder! |
