I was traveling with my sister, and we spent four nights in Paris. We could best be classified as "active senior citizens". This hotel is wonderfully situated! We had easy access to everything we wanted to do in Paris - either by a short/medium-length walk or by convenient public transportation. We fortunately had an extremely quiet room for a hotel located on a busy thoroughfare. We had asked for a double room, but because of lack of availability, we were given a triple room (not a bad thing, as it did give us a bit more space). Breakfasts were good, offering a range of choices, and although there was an extra charge for breakfast, the hotel was offering a reduced-price action during the month (May) that we stayed there. Hotel staff were always willing and able to answer our questions, give directions, etc. We also felt that we paid a very reasonable price for the room. We were 99.9% satisfied with our stay at this hotel and both agreed that we would choose to stay there again. The water pressure in the bathroom sink faucet was weak throughout the duration of our stay, and we couldn't get hot water. The shower worked fine, however - sufficient pressure and hot water, so we weren't terribly inconvenienced.

- It's in a very good location - Rooms are clean -FREE & good Internet service -They were very helpful at the reception _ I was requesting single room for one person, I was provided a room with 2 samll beds which was not comfortable at all and I didn't have the time to change it as I was leaving early morning and coming after 5:00 pm. - There was no privacy at all i was hearing my neighbour room while they were having sex !!

The thing that I really liked was the Location which was very near to 2 Metro stations, also I was satisfied that there was daily room Housekeeping, which I didn't see often in a 2-3 stars Hotels, Wifi free service was also a positive point, generally I enjoyed my stay.

Nothing to recommend this hotel and I went to look at other hotels during my visit to see what was available for my next visit. There are much better 3 star hotel in Paris. The worst hotel I have ever stayed in. We had no hot water for a day , no explanation no apology. Don't stay there my best advice.

The surrounding area was okay (restaurants, bistro's) and near a subway. The staff was friendly. Free Internet. Nicely decorated. My hotel room was in the back with which I didn't have much noise from the street. The smell of cigarette smoke in my hotel room (non smoking) which either came from outside or inside the hotel. The walls are pretty thin, and therefore can be noisy. (TV or conversations from neighbours). Sometimes very slow Internet connection.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was good but a bit noisy in the morning. The room was very small it's ok if you are staying only for few days. In general it was good for the price. Room wasnt very clean, and big noise was coming out of the street early in the morning.

Good lighting in the room. The rooms were thoroughly cleaned daily with clean towels. Staff were always friendly and helpful. Close to train station and within walking distance of most major sights. Small rooms but good value for money. The walls were paper thin and I would suggest the doors to each room be fitted with soft closers as we could hear each time someone entered or exited thier room. The rooms were compact but ocnsidering location, godd value for money. Carpets could be replaced. Suggest televisions be wall mounted.

Easily the best value of anywhere I've stayed in Europe. The staff were friendly and spoke English well. The rooms were well-appointed and the location was very convenient. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Paris.

The hotel's proximity to St. Lazare Station was ideal. We were only on a 2 day stopver in Paris and this made it easy for us to get around to see the sights and do the shopping we wanted in a short amount of time (Champs Elysses, Arc de Triomphe, The Louvre, The Eiffel Tower). The hotel was very clean, our room more than lived up to expectations and the staff was extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend Hotel De La Fleche D'or.

Hotel needs a complete strip down and refurbishment!! Everything/all facilities look tired, tatty, dirty and old. Rooms have paper thin walls so you hear everything from adjoining rooms - not at all a pleasant stay.

Very helpful staff!!! Good breakfast (except omlett). Excellence location, 15-20 minutes by foot to lot of sights (Sacré Coeur, Louvre, down town, ...). Much more comfortable like the two or three star hotels in Paris!

The hotel has perfect location - you can easily reach within 10 min on foot Bl.Haussmann with major boutouques: Galeries Lafayette, Printemps, restaurants, also Place de Clichy, Moulin Rouge, Opera. The hotel is close to many central metro stations including Auber (RER), Gare Saint-Lazare, the closest station is Liege. The hotel is clean, staff is very welcome, nice lobby, good breakfasts cost 8.5 EUR though you can also chose many brasseries and cafe near by. Wi-Fi is free in the hotel and also in the room, you just need to ask for free voucher with login and password at the reception desk, they change login each day. The is also PC in the lobby. Good plasma TV in the room. Hotel is situated on quiet street, you can ask the room with windows to the court with no noise. There are food stores near by where you can buy drinks, fruits, snacks, sweets etc, the closest shop works till 2 a.m. The hotel is ideal for shopping and tourism. The best balance of price and comfort. There is no kettle and tea/coffee in the room, you have to bear it in mind if you prefer morning coffee or late tea in the room, it will not be possible. The mini-bar is quite expensive. A bottle of water or cola costs 3 EUR while you can buy the same in the nearest shop for 0.5 EUR - 1.5 EUR.

the location is ideal and good metro facilities we have stayed there last time we went to Paris and it was perfect. the room was quite and big enough, everything was well mantained and clean. So we decided to repeat, but this time we had a thiny, bad mantained noisy room, the reception staff was always in a bad mood. Breakfast (which is not included) is very poor for the price they charged. Its a pitty they are not beeing able to mantain their quality, because location remains great !

“The location of the hotel is great. The metro station "SAINT GEORGE" is only down the street, there were some cute cafe's in the area. On our first day we wandered down the street and made our way to L'Opera and Madeline on foot - The hotel is great location. The staff were most helpful. We arrived early (around 10.30am) on the 1 st day and they had a room ready for us. The room was very clean, the view was brilliant and it was perfect for our 2 night stay in Paris City.” Jessica, Limerick |
