Grand Hôtel De La Grotte  

It's nice . The environment is also beautiful and it was walking distance from the sanctuary . . It would have been great if there was tea/coffee making facilities .

The friendliness and helpfulness of your staff. We especially like your front desk and concierge for their graciousness.

The location was ideal for our short stay. It was central, very comfortable, has parking and access to the Grotto was within easy reach. Staff were very friendly. Would definitely go back and recommend it to anyone visiting Lourdes.

The lighting in the room was poor for reading. Window were very small so natural light was limited. Decor was nice but as it was dark in colour, this did not enhance the light in the room. The only disappointment was that we could not check in on line and print out our boarding card. There was no access to a printer.

Good location for the Grotte etc

Wifi did not work in the room. Barman not always there and seemed reluctant to deliver drinks to the tables outside. The one way trafic system changes direction every two weeks which confuses Sat Nav systems, on arrival it was very difficult to find.

The hotel was comfortable but compared to 4* in Ireland it would not rate above 2*

The hotel is in a good location and close to many of the attractions in the area. The staff tried to be helpful but spoke very little English so this proved a barrier when trying to get meals as the menus were all in French which spoiled the dining experience so after the first meal we dined out.

very moving experience to visit lourdes and the location of the hotel was excellent... staff and facilities were very good and great rate too.

Location is very good. Close to the grotte & to the shoping area.

the entrance to the hotel was good.The furniture in the bedroom must be over 50 years old and at least needed a good coat of paint,but ideally it should all be thrown away.The wallpaper around the door frames must have been done by a true amateurI It could not have been worse.The breakfast was not particularly good,even the doorbell you could see did not work. We had to phone the hotel for somebody to open the door for us. I believe you classified this hotel as 4 star.Not even a 2 star would be appropiate.I believe you should take this hotel out of you list.Most disappointing

L'accueil : excellent. Le personnel est d'une grande qualité professionnelle et de gentillesse. Le calme : excellent. L'hôtel est très feutré. La situation géographique : très proche du centre ville et des lieux où nous voulions accéder.

L'accueil y est agréable et le personnel toujours à disposition du client avec le sourire. Hôtel très bien tenu, rien à reprocher. Les chambres proposées, suivant le prix, sont correctes. Les repas sont corrects et en rapport avec un service de quatre étoiles. L'emplacement au centre ville n'est pas négligeable. La possibilité de garer la voiture dans le garage où parking de l'hôtel. Le rapport qualité/prix est excellent, comparé à d'autres hôtels de même niveau dans cette ville.
