Excellent staff, great location!

Location (proximity to the grotto and quietness), price, friendliness and flexibility of staff

No luggage rack in room. On this stay, not all of the breakfast choices were available until about after 7:30 am. Breakfast is supposed to start at 7:00 am.

The closeness to the Sanctuary, well lite paths at night, the beautful view of the Sanctuary from our room and the excellent breakfast were all reasons qwe would come back to your hotel. The staff was always very friendly and most helpful.

There was nothing we didn't like!

The lighting in the room was too dim. Need to upgrade their light bulbs.

The hotel was luxurious but not expensive

The only hitch was if you need to get to the airport and hsve not left yrself a lit of time then the street ehere the hotel is situated gets very busy. Cars and buses wanting to get to the grotto. Other than that i would stay again

The staff were friendly and helpful. They certainly made you feel welcome and at home. A wonderful stay of two days and definitely I would stay here again. The rooms were comfortable, clean and the bathroom was spacious and well presented. Many thanks

There was nothing o dislike

Directory of hotel services out of date in many respects. Tinned fruit salad at breakfast poor when the area produces so many fresh fruit. Very restricted selection of TV programmes again not reflective of those listed.

First time to Lourdes and I was lucky to stay in this fabulous hotel in the most breathtaking location, would I go back? in a heart beat!

The staff and the concierge in particular could not have been more helpful and pleasant. My thanks again for going well above and beyond to help me get my large car (Grand Espace) through the one way system (which changes direction) and parked right outside the hotel restaurant! Our room had a perfect view of the hotel grounds, the river behind, the town and the beautiful tower of the Basillica beyond the Pyrenees as the perfect backdrop.

It was a bit gloomy inside with low level lighting and dark furnishings, and some loose and ancient electrical fittings.

Pool area and the staff attention. Breakfast is ok .

Good location for the grotto, nice view from the room

Hairdryer not very good. No guest lounge where you could feel at home, only a public lounge where you were expected to have a drink if you sat down

the hotel was very well placed for views etc. good car parking which was a great help as we had found some of the roads very narrow when approaching. very good value for money

Breakfast

Grand Hotel de la Grotte is a very nice hotel near the Lourdes grotte. It offers nice rooms, an excellent breakfast, good dining, a great atmosphere and a very friendly and helpfull staff. The general manager, Mr. Louis Guinguene, is very much involved and really does his utmost to make sure that customers have a nice stay in his hotel. Last but not least, the hotel has an own parking, which is a fantastic feature in a small, crowded city, like Lourdes is. We thank both the staff and management for a nice stay.

Nice friendly place. Food a bit pretentious. Superb bar and barman!

Le personnel edt accueillant

Il a fait tres froid dans la chambre. Je suis arrivé la nuit la chambre n'était pas chauffée. Le chauffage ne fonctionnait pas alors il fallait mettre l'air chaud toute la nuit. Lequel n'est pas bon la nuit puisqu'il sèche tro l'air.

Quasi niente

Camera fredda ,un rumore continuo (probabilmente un aspiratore)che richiedeva l'uso di tappi per le orecchie per poter dormire,il pagamento del posteggio con tanto spazio a disposizione :albergo anonimo di passaggio.

La posizione, la gentilezza dello staff, le camere spaziose e pulite e l'ottima prima colazione

Hyggelig personale, hjelpsomme og vennlige, godt engelsk Interessant hus, stort rom, bra baderom. Grei mat uten det store forventede franske. Fin sentral beliggenhet.

La chaleur,la convivialité et l'esprit de famille qui anime tout le personnel de l'hôtel, avec un clin d'oeil spécial à l'équipe du restaurant ...le choix du jurançon qui fait pétiller les yeux et les crêpes suzette;excellents...le couple LOISEAU depuis LIbreville. Sur la pointe des pieds...

Le séjour qui était trop court,retour bientôt...
