Nice little Hotel Staff let us make cup of tea in kitchen complimentary Walk to Eiffel Tower
Mould in bathroom
The staff very helpful and attentive. Very closed located to the Eifelturm. Good restaurants in the near.
Only one! parking place which is really not for bigger cars. But public (expensive) parking is in the near.
The receptionist was the best part of this hotel. Location was also good.
Rooms were clean, comfortable and warm, but lacked good design and construction.
Loved the location service everything
The hotel was walking distance to the Eiffel Tower (10 mins). Great restaurants and fresh produce (cheese, bakeries, fruit, etc) around the corner from the hotel on Rue Cler. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Bed was a bit hard. Quality of the room and bathroom fittings could have been better - a bit tired.
Staff was friendly and accommodating, small hotel in a good location.
beds where not as comfortable, but good enough.
I took my boyfriend to Paris for his 21st birthday and we stayed here. The staff were so friendly and helpful in any of our needs. We were to walk away from the Eiffel tower and a two minute walk from the nearest metro to get to the other attractions. We we clearly stayed in the nicest part of Paris which is on the corner of a market for all the shops you would need. Location was excellent. The room could be a little bit small but as we are just young couple it was perfect for us.
We couldn't fault it in any way.
Location, staff, cleanliness
Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent location beside Rue Cler, close to Eiffel Tower, 2 metro stations. Small but beautifully decorated room. No problems with free Wifi.
Staff were courteous and English speaking. The room is small but well laid out. Bathroom a bit old, but very clean. Hotel is only 5/7 min walk to the Eiffel Tower. Rue Cler, a very sweet pedestrianized street is just round the corner.
Absence of coffee making facilities in room
Very friendly staffs and good location.
It's hard to find parking in the near, parking house is so expensive.
Charming room, courteous, helpful staff, convenient location
The location near Eiffel tower was perfect. We could walk everywhere from the hotel. The room had enough space for a family and was comfortable. The staff was nice and helpful. We did nit try the breakfast as there was many cafes nearby. The hotel was charming and easy acess from ecole militar metro stop.
excellent friendly service, great food very close, bus line, subway convenient, don't be put off by the exterior, very comfortable room; as is in most values small- but to us it is cozy. Very clean. Say hi to moe for us. Ron W
The location is super and the staff was so helpful in getting us to and from sites. Breakfast had a wide variety and those crossiants were to die for.
Close to Eiffel tower, invalides, and champs élysées. Room was comfortable and staff were very friendly and helpful. Lots of restaurants and cafes and supermarkets around, but not a lot of take away places.
Room was a tad small so was difficult to find somewhere to open suitcase, but most European hotels (and I have stayed in many) are small.
Air condition was out of order in my last night
I love this hotel because of staff and location. I also love that it is very French. The staff were all very helpful anytime we needed them for anything!
Overall very old-fashioned/used incl. bathrooms ie. difficult to get them look/feel clean, small rooms, tight corridoors
Location: right on Rue Cler for its food shops, cafes and restaurants and walking distance of many attractions; also just 100m to the Metro. Staff: enthusiastic and very helpful. Room: not big but a decent size for the price, recently refurbished; good to have a view out onto the street.
A hotel in a very lovely location near Eiffel tower . The personnel was so kind. Honestly they were amazing. The rooms are clean.
Maybe the price.
location and staff and cleanliness
room was small and limited TV channels
My husband and I loved the location! Next to Rue Cler, a perfect walking street of patisseries, cafes, markets, and flower shops. A quick walk to the Eiffel Tower, and right by two metro stations too. The staff was unbelievably helpful and kind. From the time of booking until our stay, they were in constant contact via email and catered to our requests (a double bed, a shower instead of a bathtub, transportation to and from CDG). They always greeted us at the main desk, and while my husband and I tried our limited French for communication, the staff all spoke fluent English so we felt at home. The rooms all have their own look and feel - all Parisian and adorable with different color schemes. I particularly love that, given that rooms at main stream hotels all look the same. The bathroom was bright and clean. The windows all open, so the fresh air is a nice addition. And our bathroom overlooked Rue Cler. The rooms are a bit small compared to what we're accustomed to, but we both expected and enjoyed that. City living is tight on space in New York City too, so it was expected, but we don't need much space and it felt cozy. We will absolutely be back to Paris and stay at Hotel de la Motte Picquet and we are already recommending it to our friends and family. Thank you so much for a wonderful vacation!
The room was tiny, but clean. Location was perfect 5 steps away from great cafes, shopping etc. air conditioning was a plus. The staff was so friendly and helpful, they made my husband and I feel so welcomed. This was the best location all sights were within walking distance and the Metro and Taxi cabs down the street. Will stay again next trip.
first night was great, staff was nice and friendly. score was excellent till we had a problem with the toilet.
we had a problem with the toilet, we let them know in the afternoon, so there's no excuse about not fixing it, but they didn't send anyone to fix it and we had to use the toilet in the hall until we checked out next day. and they insisted we still had to pay full price, because the booking was made through booking.com. doesn't make sense.
