excellent friendly service, great food very close, bus line, subway convenient, don't be put off by the exterior, very comfortable room; as is in most values small- but to us it is cozy. Very clean. Say hi to moe for us. Ron W
The location is super and the staff was so helpful in getting us to and from sites. Breakfast had a wide variety and those crossiants were to die for.
Close to Eiffel tower, invalides, and champs élysées. Room was comfortable and staff were very friendly and helpful. Lots of restaurants and cafes and supermarkets around, but not a lot of take away places.
Room was a tad small so was difficult to find somewhere to open suitcase, but most European hotels (and I have stayed in many) are small.
Air condition was out of order in my last night
I love this hotel because of staff and location. I also love that it is very French. The staff were all very helpful anytime we needed them for anything!
Overall very old-fashioned/used incl. bathrooms ie. difficult to get them look/feel clean, small rooms, tight corridoors
Location: right on Rue Cler for its food shops, cafes and restaurants and walking distance of many attractions; also just 100m to the Metro. Staff: enthusiastic and very helpful. Room: not big but a decent size for the price, recently refurbished; good to have a view out onto the street.
A hotel in a very lovely location near Eiffel tower . The personnel was so kind. Honestly they were amazing. The rooms are clean.
Maybe the price.
location and staff and cleanliness
room was small and limited TV channels
My husband and I loved the location! Next to Rue Cler, a perfect walking street of patisseries, cafes, markets, and flower shops. A quick walk to the Eiffel Tower, and right by two metro stations too. The staff was unbelievably helpful and kind. From the time of booking until our stay, they were in constant contact via email and catered to our requests (a double bed, a shower instead of a bathtub, transportation to and from CDG). They always greeted us at the main desk, and while my husband and I tried our limited French for communication, the staff all spoke fluent English so we felt at home. The rooms all have their own look and feel - all Parisian and adorable with different color schemes. I particularly love that, given that rooms at main stream hotels all look the same. The bathroom was bright and clean. The windows all open, so the fresh air is a nice addition. And our bathroom overlooked Rue Cler. The rooms are a bit small compared to what we're accustomed to, but we both expected and enjoyed that. City living is tight on space in New York City too, so it was expected, but we don't need much space and it felt cozy. We will absolutely be back to Paris and stay at Hotel de la Motte Picquet and we are already recommending it to our friends and family. Thank you so much for a wonderful vacation!
The room was tiny, but clean. Location was perfect 5 steps away from great cafes, shopping etc. air conditioning was a plus. The staff was so friendly and helpful, they made my husband and I feel so welcomed. This was the best location all sights were within walking distance and the Metro and Taxi cabs down the street. Will stay again next trip.
first night was great, staff was nice and friendly. score was excellent till we had a problem with the toilet.
we had a problem with the toilet, we let them know in the afternoon, so there's no excuse about not fixing it, but they didn't send anyone to fix it and we had to use the toilet in the hall until we checked out next day. and they insisted we still had to pay full price, because the booking was made through booking.com. doesn't make sense.
Expensive, but ah that's Paris
Hotel was located in a excellent location, very close to Eiffel Tower a lots of restaurants to choose from, in addition to a small markets to pick up a quick snack. Hotel staff was very welcoming. Room were smaller than I expected but comfortable. Free wi-fi was a plus. Did not have the opportunity to partake in the breakfast since there were so many places close by to eat at.
I suppose due to size of the room, there was lack of iron and ironing board, but the front desk was able to quickly provide one upon request. Also would be helpful to get more detailed channel guide for viewing channels on other languages, but probably not a high demand since most guests are probably out of the room a lot sight seeing.
The staff were friendly and welcoming, service was good, location is close to restaurants and supermarket, the room was clean and tidy.
The size of the room is small and lift as well. It doesn't fit for the babychair.
Great location. Friendly staff all willing to lend a hand. Really appreciated the thick, sound proof windows. If you're a light sleeper try to get a higher room, but we were just fine on the second floor.
Mo at reception desk was charming, helpful, pointed me to great cafe, arranged shuttle, full of great information. Room medium size, immaculate, tasteful and well appointed.
Air con was a bit frigid, I couldn't turn it down, but probably my own fault. Mechanically challenged.
The staff, as always, is excellent. Always helpful & a pleasure to work with
The host was so helpful and friendly, made great recommendations and directions. Breakfast were spectacular!
Your hotel and all the others we stayed at in Europe have a beautiful duvet but no sheet. I found them to be very hot while sleeping and would prefer a sheet underneath.
Great location, the front desk people were so helpful and very friendly. Night clerk went out of his way to get us a bucket of ice at 10:00 at night. Everything you need is within walking distance, cute little hotel.
Location (Rue Cler) Close to metro and #69 bus line Comfortable bed Good wifi Clean and modern bathroom Polite and informed staff Air conditioning Travel guide books available in lobby to borrow while visiting
Could have built in more shelf space for toiletries in bathroom Double room small size (but average for Paris)
We stayed here for three nights and enjoyed it immensely. The highlight was the friendly and helpful staff who were happy to provide advice and make arrangements for us. The room was very clean and comfortable and quiet enough for a peaceful night. This is a wonderful location with easy walking to many Paris highlights and a Metro station very close by. Plenty of cafes and restaurants in the area with some amazing food and an option for breakfast in house, Highly recommended if you like a small hotel and personal service.
I visited paris with my 16 year old daughter and stayed at this hotel. We loved it. Five minutes walk to the Eiffel Tower, close to lots of great little cafés. Bus stops and metro close by. We will definitely be visiting again.
Beautiful hotel, first rate service, highly recommended
Host, Wi-Fi, quiet, great location
Small room (No 201) & no tea making facilities
