The proprietors were extremely friendly and helpful, our room was clean and spacious, particularly by European standards, and the bathroom was large. The location is also very good, close to the downtown area in Dinan.

The hotel is perfectly situated for exploring this beautiful old city. Lots of good restaurants and shops close by, and the hotel owner was extremely helpful with advice about what to see and do in the area The room was a bit small with no windows to open, and there was only internet access in the hotel lobby.

Excellent location, just below Porte de Saint Malo (Old Dinan) and with free parking beside the hotel.Staff speak some english. They were very accommodating with regards to our telephone connections, sometimes past the reception/switchboard operating time and helpful with direction to the city attractions. The rooms have very little or perhaps no soundproofing. Our room was very small but we paid extra to have a little terrace. In that case we didnt know we wont have a window. At night of course we had to close the terrace and were left with no "airflow". We also werent told that the terrace will not be private, and the owner walked on to it once a day without annoucement. It felt a bit uncomfortable, even though we were usually only reading outside. The breakfast is very modest and not "value for money". Much better to eat at any of old city's brasseries.

We stayed only one night but would be happy to stay here for longer next visit. Owner speaks english and is most helpful and friendly. Location is good, 400 metres from entrance to walled city and 800 metres to railway station. There is a handy free car parking area across the road. We found it to be very quiet at night, not a sound. Breakfast is available however we left very early to catch a train and did not have breakfast.

Pleasent hotel in convenient location. Courtyard disappointing as a garden view. Pity there are no coffee/tea making facilities in room, which are now standard in all English bed and breakfast hotels. We thought the breakfast was very expensive for bread, jam and cereal. Most places would offer warm cooked food for that price.(almost Euros 9.00).

Great location, clean rooms, friendly service. Would definitely stay there again. As other reviewers identified, rooms may be small - in our view this was fine given the location, cleanliness and friendliness!

The owners were extremely nice and the location could not have been better. The room I booked was on the 3rd floor and was extremely warm and no a/C. If I had not joked as he took us upstairs if it was the Honeymoon Room - We would not have been told of another cooler room on the 2nd for 8 € more.
