Welcoming by staff was good at the reception
broken chair no remote for tv tv didnt function towels were not in room
Free fast wifi
Cleaners coming around from 8.30am. If you forgot to put a don't disturb sign on your door they would just enter. Bathroom is tiny. I don't know how they fit a sink and shower and toilet in there. Too noisy to sleep as there are people hanging out outside all night. Very similar to the people who stand outside gare du nord every day
The Hotel is located in silence area. There are many shops and fast food restaurants like Mc Donald's (50m), KFC (100m) INTER MARCHE (20 m ), LIDL (150m). Undergrund station is 30 meters from Hotel. The rooms are wery clean ( no isnects). Breakfast is traditional French: crouasant and juce and cofe. In hotel is elevator. You can pay credit card or casch. Staff speak English very well. In my opinion everythink is perfect.
Location, just infront of Metro station.
Room size, bed, noise outside the street.
We didn´t have elevator during the first day
It is a good budget hotel. It is one of the cheapest in Paris. Don't expect anything more than just goodnight sleep.
That it was close to the subway station
The hotel was in a loud neighbourhood, people were on the street yelling, fighting, blasting music and honking horns all night. The room itself had no air conditioning, the lights in the bedroom stopped working, there were ants in it, toilet barely flushed and the elevator stopped working and I was on the 5th floor. Generally terrible. If you are looking to stay here take my advice and don't do it.
Ideal for a dynamic low budget short-trip to Paris.
The fact that we could check in even prior to 2 PM and wasn't charged any extra.
Shower handle was broken so you had to hold it up with one hand.
Next to Metro, very well for anyone who, like us, comes to see the city and use the room to sleep in it and nothing else.
Value for money. The subway, Mcdonalds, KFC, Supermarkets are very close to the hotel.
The breakfast is not present. The location looks as a criminal district
The location was good and it was great value for money! The staff were a great help
The bathroom light did not work and nothing was done about it
The hotel was the cheapest one from booking.com so our expectations weren't so high... it was right next to the Porte de Cligancourte metro station so that was a plus. A small room, a small bathroom...not the cleanest room ever but...if you wanna save some money and don't expect much it's a pretty decent hotel.
Our expectations were pretty low so...nothing really to complain about (keep in mind that is probably one of the cheapest hotels in Paris)
Location is close to the metro, hotel is ok, but nothing special. Typical Paris hotel for this price.
The receptionist tried to obtain tips by deception. Upon the check in he asked me to pay. The credit card didn't work (weirdly, only in that place), so he asked me for cash. I had 120 eur (paid for two rooms) and I was due to pay 115. He claimed not to have change right then but to give me the change later. Which I was fine with. As we were bringing our stuff upstairs I passsed by reception just 3-5minutes later. He asked a question if he still owes me the change (of course yes, why not!?). Then just said "merci" and smiled. Then the next day, when I was checking out I asked about my change. He pretended he doesn't know what I'm talking about. So I reminded him the story. Then he asked me if I want an invoice (just to change the subject). He printed it, gave it to me and turned his back to walk away. As I hate this kind of rip off (I know, it is only 5eur but...) I said that I'd like to get my change back. He claimed not to have any money and that I had to wait until next client arrives and pays in cash. Fantastic approach isn't it? I said quite firmly that I demand my change back and there is a grocery shop just next door, he can get change there. He was really upset, just left the hotel for 15 seconds and came back with my 5eur. From the very start his behaviour was set to get some extra cash. Fine for me to give tips [which I do sometimes] but trying to obtain it this way - no, that doesn't work for me. Not sure if he tries the same with other people or not, but for me was enough. I will never recommend to any one or stay myself in this hotel again. Simply because of the above.
It was next to metro station
Rooms were very very small, with hundreds of bed bugs which made it impossible to sleep in the room. Rooms did not have any fans or A/C and it was very hot. Windows did not open easily and after a lot of struggle when we opened them, it was very noisy surrounding. When we reported to reception, he said he cant do much as he was not aware of any problem. We could not sleep properly at all
the location and the price is very affordable being in paris
Second time with family the hotel is nice to our family.... Across the street from metro... The city area is rough...but we just need a safe place to sleep...
Very close to the Metro Station, Friendly and helpful staff, Daily handling of the room by cleaner, Wifi is ok in the room, Cost effective choice.
Street is a bit noisy due to the bystanders' chat till late midnight, Shower cable leaks and bathroom is not so useful due the lack of space.
Not the greatest hotel in a very busy locale but it accommodates families of 4 without trying to gouge them just because they have kids with them. The front desk staff was polite and friendly. Close to the metro. Great for arriving in Paris at night and just needing a place to stay.
Noisy, busy area, all night long. Closing the shutters keeps most of the noise out but it gets hot with no open windows.
the staff are super friendly and helpful. The place was definitely worth for money and location are super convenient and it only required 2 minutes walk to the nearest metro station to the city.
I personally dislike the environment of the hotel for family with young children especially at night. The cleanliness of the hotel also need to be overlook as the ceiling of some room need to be improvise. Facilities such as hairdryer need to be improvise.
Price attracted me to this room. Room was as described, but a little small for four people. Staff was friendly, although they did not stand by our prior agreement.
Our quadruple room did not have much room around bed for movement or much else. Bathroom was tiny. Street was inner-cityish. Also, although I used 4 people in my search on booking.com, when I booked it somehow the number dropped to 3 people. I went ahead and booked the room, but immediately E-Mailed the hotel, and then called to clear up that I had four people in the party, including my 8 year old daughter and 17 year old son. The person I spoke with first said that would be an extra charge, but when I asked him to cancel, he said he would allow it. When we arrived, however, he charged my an extra $25 after repeating the same discussion all over again. I went ahead and paid it, since I no longer had an option except to go searching for another hotel at 10 pm in an unfamiliar city. Coupled with the $25/night parting fee, this left me wishing I'd booked the night at a more expensive but dependable hotel.
Great location (ease of access to city, small supermarkets and cafes nearby). Excellent staff - Abdel was particularly friendly and helpful.
A little small and cramped. Some plumbing problems.
The location was superb as it is less 100m away from Metro Station line 4, Porte de Clignancourt. So easy to get halal food near the hotel. It's just next door! Wifi signal is good. Fast connection. There's lift to upper levels.
We got the triple room on 5th floor. I didn't expect the room would be so small.Hardly any space for us to open our luggage on the floor. Had to open them on the bed.
location to the Metro system
room too small
