Great location, walking distance to some of the museums. Very quite street. Staff was friendly and helpful.

My "superior" twin room turned out to be a room right next to the staff desk. One of the reasons I booked the hotel was that they were providing shuttle service. After I called the hotel, it turned out that the service is only from the hotel to the airport. I still assumed that this is a free of charge service. It turned out not only I had to pay the shuttle driver, the hotel was charging me as well??!!!. So, I end up paying as much as cathing a taxi. I personaly was disapointed, it looked to me as the hotel and www.booking .com advertising of shuttle service was misleading.

It was all the comfort needed in a small package. Location was perfect and the staff were excellent. Very clean as well. The bathroom was small but had all that was needed for one person. Very comfortable bed.

The noise from the street was loud but not enough to disrupt sleep.

The location was fantastic, near the major museums, the Seine, convenient to metro. The staff was very courteous and helpful, in particular one gentleman who particularly patient and generous in helping me understand the metro. I had been traveling through Italy and France for three weeks and I can say honestly that he was the best hotel personnel I encountered. I am very appreciative.

There was nothing I didn't like about Hotel de Lille.

The Hotel is cozy! The localization is near St Germain de Près, Louvre, Notre Dame and museé Orsay. The breakfast is good

Location. Breakfast was okay, had a nice selection of breads, jams, coffee/tea, and came with yogurt. Room had AC and it worked.

The elevator literally can hold only one person with SMALL luggage. The rooms are much smaller than I expected. Literally a bed with just enough room for one person to walk around it. Sheets were also stained but hopefully they were clean. The lights were hanging from the ceiling and not fixed it place. Looked like there was some maintenence that was never finished once you leave the lobby and was just left alone.

Wonderful location for great museums....a very cordial and helpful manager.....clean, basic room.....pleasant breakfast area....shuttle service

Just as described by a personal friend. Perfect situation for central paris, close to seine. Quiet and convenient and friendly. Will recommend to friends and stay there myself again

Ideally located one street back from the Siene and close to Lourve, Musee D'Orsay and Notre Dame and within walking distance of many other tourist sights. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast were very good. Rooms are small but adequate for Paris. Wi Fi available free. Small lift has been modernised since our last visit in 2004. Close to metro station.

The room was grimey. Walls,ceiling and carpet black with dirt. The sealant around the bath and basin was black with mould. The toilet didn't flush properly one in three times. Pedestal for the wash basin was just pushed under as it didn't fit so there was a huge gap. The shower was only hand held from the bath and no curtain so the floor soaked each time. There was a huge amount of grimey dust on the pipes behind the toilet. The towels were so old they were frayed at the edges and altough they had obviously been laundered they were grey. The absolute worst though was the lift. Only big enough for one person and a suitcase it would bang to a halt at the desired floor and then you had to pust open the door and step up to get out because it would never stop at the floor level. Occasionally it wouldn't open and just decend again without one toucing the buttons. Except on arrival and departure (only because we had suitcased) I used the stairs instead. As we were on the third floor it kept us fit!

I loved the staff, my room and the location. I visited as a single female from the us with a ten word French vocabulary and Hotel de Lille was my safe haven. I felt very close to mon ames. I will return next year.

I loved everything. Even though my first day was not perfect, they were so friendly and understanding and went above and beyond to make my holiday so memorable. The staff is the best!

La situation géographique et l accueil du personnel. La salle du petit déjeuner très cosy ainsi que la qualité de la nourriture.

L étroitesse en général: Chambre et salle de bain minuscule, ascenseur ridicule. Les peintures sont très dégradées, cela donne une très mauvaise impression d'ensemble.
