The neighbourhood is quiet and nice, the staff are kind and friendly, and generally it's a good place to stay. French breakfast is expensive but in this they are not an exception: it's almost everywhere so.

The staff at Hotel de Lille was amazing and very helpful. The only negative part of our stay was that the renovation material (old carpet, wll paper, and tools ect.) were left lying out in the middle of the stairwell to trip on through the whole visit. Other then that the rooms were small as expected with European rooms, but the beds were soft(er) and the room was clean. Great location. Right across the Seine from the Louve! Definetly would stay here again!

The hotel is located about 7 minutes walk from the Louvre. The room is small, however, this negative point was outweighed by its proximity to the Louvre and other sites.

Very small rooms and I stayed there twice, once I was given a really bad room facing the inside which I asked to change and then they gave me a room facing the street which was much nicer and brighter. And the two rooms are going for the same rate; So, why are guests paying the same rate but getting rooms that are very different? That isn't fair is it?

Excellent location, very nice area and surroundings....within walking distance of good restaurants and nightlife and the major attractions during the day.... Very quiet at night, with a comfy bed & pillow... All major bonuses for us. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and spoke very good English. Good for just the one night we stayed. The room was tiny! The beds were a little small but very comfortable. Plus the shower curtain annoyingly kept no water in the shower, instead it just went all over the bathroom floor. However, for a short term stay to see Paris not really a problem, just letting you know!!

The location is excellent. They gave me a double bed, even though it was a single. Every time I asked for more orange juice during breakfast the woman would say something or just disappear. I stopped having breakfast there and willingly paid more money somewhere else.

The location is absolutely perfect, in my favourite part of Paris. Close to Orse, Cite, St Germain and Luxembourg Gardens. Everything else was pretty. Room was average for the 3 star hotel. Rude hotel staff. WHen we went out at night and aked for the taxi we were answered that it is too late to go out and that he wants to sleep and told us to go and get it ourselves.

I booked this hotel based on price and location, and it met our expectations. The front desk seemed to be friendly and helpful and room was clean. Close walking distance to some major sites and bus stop. This is not located in a real lively neighbored, so finding a choice in restaurants took a little bit of exploring.

It's location is ideal for just walking out the front door and enjoying Paris. Walks along the Seine, the Louvre and Musee d'Orsay, small sidewalk restaurants, and ice cream in the Tuileries Gardens all were highlights! Every hotel staff member we met was kind and accommodating. The bed in our room was wonderful.

O atendimento da recepção é o ponto alto do hotel, funcionários amáveis e prestativos principalmente a Sra. Maria José. O quarto é pequeno, mas a cama e a roupa de cama são bons. Recomendo o Hotel O banheiro é minúsculo.

“This hotel is in a dream location. I had a room with a little balcony over the Seine, straight across from the Louvre and almost next door to the Musee d'Orsay. I walked to almost every landmark in Paris, except that I caught the Metro to Sacre Couer and to the Bois de Bologne. The hotel is close to St Germain and not far from the Latin Quarter. Staff are helpful and courteous and all speak English. Food not allowed in rooms but plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants nearby. Hotel is furnished in French period style and has a lovely ambience. Recommended for a stay in Paris.” Frances, Wembley |
