The room was nicely furnished and had absolutely everything needed for a short stay. The bathroom appeared to be brand new and the whole room was spotlessly clean. The hotel is positioned perfectly for exploring Cannes and we found it convenient for the beach, La Croisette, a wide variety of restaurants, the ports and Le Suquet.

The Hotel was close to both the beach, the Croisette for long walks and rue d'Antibes for shopping and great restaurants - everything was within walking distance. It is a family run hotel with a friendly atmosphere and great attention to detail. Our room was very clean and nicely decorated with a balcony which faced the sun. I would strongly recommend it to any of my friends intending to stay in Cannes and I'm looking forward to going back in the spring 2012! Margaret Nevin

The hotel is totally new and done with good taste. The people are very helpful. If we didn't see the price on booking we wouldn't have stayed as he only proposed us the expensive room with a see view which we didn't want.

Lovely Hotel with charming owners who are wanting to please their guests. Hotel is newly renovated but has kept the charm of the old building and the provence. The bed was very comfortable, positon excellent and the view from our balcony over the front garden was fabulous. I will return.

This is a small family run hotel which offers good value in a high end town that is Cannes. It is well situated behind the Croisette and within easy walking distance of all facilities. Staff are very welcoming and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The hotel has recently undergone a revamp, and the standard is much higher than during my previous stay some years ago. A standard continental breakfast (not included) is served in the bar area or outside in the pleasant garden when the weather is fine. Overall, highly recommended.

It's a charming small hotel run by its extremely friendly owners and has recently been completely refurbished. It has a lovely garden. It is perfectly located for shopping and the beach being only 4 mins walk from the Rue d'Antibes and 6 mins walk from the Croisette. It's centrally located being immediately behind the Marriott hotel (formerly the Noga Hilton) and close to the Carlton hotel, and yet it's peaceful and quiet.

Very friendly staff and clean room. Small, but comfortable. Some nice little touches too. It is a hotel, but only offers breakfast, so some might call it a B&B. I would recommend this establishment highly. Go for a garden view room. Odd shower bracket, meant you had to sit to shower. Tiny lift, very slow, for 1 person with bags only. But its not a big problem really.

Great hotel, friendly and helpful staff and perfect location. Fairly reasonable, considering some of the prices in Cannes. A balcony room overlooking the garden is a must. Highly recommended! Breakfast was expensive for what it was.

Very good location, short walk to both Croisette seaside and rue d'Antibes shopping, also lots of restaurants nearby. Very quiet as set back from the street in its own little garden with a patio where breakfast can be served. Our room had a huge terrace as it was right above reception on 1st floor but many rooms had balconies otherwise. Very reasonable for the price given the location, general priciness of Cannes in high season. Entire hotel just renovated so very fresh. Rooms are very small but have everything you need. Breakfast is ok value at 10 Uros, though you can get the same for less As noted, rooms are a bit tight but well thought out. Garden is nice to sit in but can be a bit buggy with little biting flies, so use repellent if you have it! That said these are very minor issues, I feel, and otherwise no complaints.

The fact that we could leave our luggage in the hotel when we were not officially checked in. It was a nice service. The room was fresh and clean and we were provided with a bottle of water - which was great. Problems were easily rectified. Loads of German and Italian Channels extra to france and only one English news channel. - I thought there would be pay per view channels and maybe options to show speech in original languages. Wifi was charged for - unlike lots of other hotels in the area.

I've stayed at Provence before and were satisfied every time. The Hotel has a stunning location. Between beaches & shopping street. I prefer wooden floor rooms than carpeted rooms. Carpets may be some times dirty. Otherwise hygiene of the hotel overall was over the expected.

The owner and his wife worked there every day so we could talk to them. They were friendly and very helpful. Our room had a garden terrace and the staff delivered our breakfast there every morning which was great. We were within walking distance to the seafront and beach and also the shops. There were many different kinds of restaurants within short walking distance. Lift was very small which made it difficult with luggage but the staff helped.

Family-run hotel with very friendly staff, renovated in 2011. 5 minutes walk to the beach, and superb garden. There is nothing in Cannes that can tick all the boxes for the great holiday at this price. Internet connection was slow

The owners were fantastic; extremely friendly and hospitable. The staff were also very professional and friendly. The hotel was beautiful, modern and renovated. The location can't be beat; one block from Rue D'Antibes and al the shops, and 2 blocks from the ocean and La Croisette. Even with some of the issues with my experience, I highly recommend Hotel de Provence. I stayed in a single room, which was very clean and modern. I expected it to be small, but it was extremely small. As well as the one window never shut all the way, so the air conditioning would turn off unexpectedly. While housekeeping did keep the room very clean, they forgot to push the bed back after cleaning behind it. The pillow was placed on the floor instead of on the bed (you only had one pillow, although there was another one available int he closet). They never replaced the shampoo/shower gel after it was empty (after the first night; stayed 4 nights). The shower curtain was so flimsy, the bathroom floor was soaked after each use.

We stayed at this hotel for three nights of a three week tour of Italy and France. The hotel was small, pretty, and well cared for. We found the newly renovated hotel to be perfect. Lovely clean rooms with all new modern furnishings and a really comfortable bed. The rainshower in the bathroom was an amazing bonus! The balcony was great for relaxing. The staff were so friendly and attentive. The location of this hotel is perfect too between the beach and the shopping, all within easy walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wished we could stay longer. Highly recommended!! Nothing at all.. although we didn't need it the hotel does not have a restaurant and or swimming pool.
