The room was modern beds extremely comfortable and a bright shiny new bathroom with excellent shower. Reception were very courteous and helpful. The location was within comfortable walking distance of the Gare du Nord and we found some good restaurants close to the Hotel. We especially liked the few minutes walk to the 42 bus stop and availability oif tickets from the local tabac. We used this bus contantly to go to le Chap de Mars and from there pick up the 87 which goes to Odeon and St Germain. The street was quiet. Our only complaint was that the doors of the rooms on our corridor shut very noisily and the soundproofing between rooms and between floors was not good.

Comfortable rooms, near Gard du Nord station and covenient metro connections to rest of the city. Friendly staff at reception and in cafe. Breakfast was better than expected. Was on the 4th floor and room was good although small, but this is Paris. I guess rooms on 4th and 5th floors are better than the 1st and 2nd as most single travelers use the lower floors due to the lift being small and slow. Lift is too small. Although it says it can accomadate 3 it will take 2 with great difficulty. Corridors to the rooms also very narrow.

The hotel was very clean and up to date. The staff was very helpful. The location was near the Gare du Nord, which we wanted, but that area is not the best. The hotel itself was fine.

The hotel is just 5 minutes on foot from the Gare de la Nord station, perfect for the Eurostar arrivals. It is a good 3 star (plus) hotel with a decent continental breakfast selection and really helpful staff who were happy to go out of their way to make my stay as comfortable as could be. The decor is of good standard and facilities (such as bathrooms) very good for 3 star premises. It is a very good choice in particular for late arrivals into Paril or early morning departures. The hotel did not seem to have a bar or food opportunities (evening meals) but it is so centrally located that actually this is not a problem (more an observation) only.

Location was perfect for Gard du Nord and Eurostar. Very nice new modern bathrooms. Very comfy bed. New flat screen TV. Modern. For the location and the price (€129/double room) it was good value and I will stay there again when on business. The carpets were very dirty, you could see stains in the halls, at the elevators and in the bedrooms. The paint on the wall was pealing off - its needs to be repainted urgently. The lift was TINY and dirty and was very slow.

Very convenient when coming in by Eurostar. Easy access to restaurants and sights. Desk staff friendly and helpful. Tiny shower - so small that unless careful it was easy to turn it off by turning round or to move the control so that the water suddenly became hot or cold.

The Location is fantastic. Only Minutes from Both Est and Nord Train station. Rooms nicely decorated and breakfast was very nice in a lovely dining room. The rooms are very noisy. With both the outside street noise and noise coming from other guests in the hall, it is difficult to get a good night sleep. The room is over priced for the noise.

There was nothing to like about the hotel. The public areas (corridors and staircases were very poorly lit,the bathrooms were so small you could not move in the shower without knocking the water off, lighting in rooms poor. the hotel was so disapointing although booked for 7 nights, left after 1.

the aircon was not functioning on that day and they are charging me the price of an aircon room (as per agreed over the reservation from www.booking.com). Upon making payment, i asked the counter staff for discount because of this defect, he said he couldnt do anything and asked me to write to the director of the hotel. I wrote accordingly to complain about the situation and asked for discount but they ignored me despite 2 emails sent. What can i do? Suck thumb thats all....for God sake, blacklist this hotel.

The location was good and the staff efficient and friendly. The hotel has 'no soul' and is a very basic, hard edged bottom of the scale for 3 stars with darkish rooms and dark unattractive corridors.

Staff were very helpful, good commual area, nice furnishing of the room There's only one staff serving breakfast, so you don't get served quickly if you come late, and it's rather small. The lift can only take up 3 persons max, and corridor is narrow.

The billiard table in the lobby. The room and the pictures were worlds apart and the old and dodgy lift and worn carpet didn't scream renovated.
