The hotel has everything that a solo traveller needs, a spacious bed, clean toilet with hot water , and the hotel is housed in a very old building which may be liked by few of us who like the charm of old Paris houses. And the staffs are friendly . Internet connection was good enough to carry on a bit of important tasks while traveling.

In the neighboring rooms some young tourists would make noise that would rip apart my sleep. The hotel does not give a phone in the room - and there is no way you can complain at the reception in the middle of the night.

The staff was helpful, the room was clean, with ordinary french breakfast. I would recommend this hotel only for 1-2 nights of staying.

The hotel is located in 10, Gare du Nord. It's not a place for walking in the evening. Some of the guests at the hotel were so noisy in the evening and early in the morning.

Location is good as one can access to Metro and restaurants from the hotel quite easily.

Very tiny rooms and below average breakfast although its cost was Euro 8 per breakfast. Nise in one room could b heard in other which created uncomfable environment in room.

Cheap & adequate

Rooms not well insulated against noise from inside&outside, very soft mattress.

Good location in combination with the price.

The room was good, the only thing we did not like was the smell, it was a chemic smell.

Standard options - not expensive, relatively clean, proximity of metropolitan.

Too noisy crossroad at the night, relatively crime district, too small space in the room and in shower.

It is a bit old and dated.

The personnel were wonderful. The WiFi was incredibly dependable.

The bed was a little stiff for my comfort, but my room had a beautiful terrace outside my window.

very clean room plenty big and staff very accomodating,, well situated for x2 metr stations and cafes' resturants...i do not really understand soe of the negative comments about the hotel made by other guests? I would stay there again..

The address that I recieved for this hotel was not clear. The street number was not given and so I had no idea where it was. Also this booking named the Hotel as 123. There is no such thing. They have three differant hotels in the same vicinity at different addresses. Very confusing and annoying draging luggage around on foot looking for the hotel

the owners and staff were nice and considerate. The hotel was close to the metro and had good access to gare du nord, gare lyon and the seine near the louvre.

The area outside the hotel was not pleasant to go out and have a meal or walk. The rooms were tiny and you could hear noise from the inner courtyard.

One of the receptionists was exceptionally kind and helpful, and in general staff was very friendly. Great location, but attention: this hotel is not at Gare du Nord, as indicated in the address that Booking provides; it is at Republique - few minutes form metro station of Republique, greatly located.

I think that probably breakfast should be included in the price per night.

Sehr gute Lage. Wenige Schritte zum Pl. de la Republique. Gute Anbindung an Flughafen CDG (wenn man wenig Gepäck hat!). Innenstadt auch gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Sehr viele Lokale und einige Supermärkte im Umfeld. Personal war sehr hilfreich (Extrawünsche und Reparatur einer defekten Lampe sehr schnell erledigt; kostenloser Ausdruck der Bordpapiere zur Abreise). Zwar kein Deutsch aber gut in Englisch zu verständigen. Das Zimmer verfügte über das Nötige und machte einen sauberen Eindruck. Klinische Reinheit würde ich jetzt nicht erwarten. Matratze überraschend angenehm fest. Für den Preis und die Lage absolut OK.

Als typisch Pariser Hotel ist alles sehr eng. Das Zimmer wird beherrscht vom franz. Bett. Außen herum nur ein schmaler "Pfad"; kleiner Schreibtisch (Laptop passt drauf); Wenig einladender Metallschrank. Nasszelle (Du/WC, Waschbecken) sehr klein. Breite und übergewichtige Menschen werden keinen Spaß haben. Für 1 Person ausreichend, für 2 Personen viel zu klein. Tapeten und Teppiche könnten eine Renovierung vertragen. TV nicht wirklich mit deutschen Satelliten-Sendern. Hotel ist offenbar beliebt bei Schülergruppen. Das kann schon mal laut werden. War aber bei meinem Aufenthalt nur einmal kurz der Fall. Fazit: Für echten Pariser Charme muss man einige Abstriche machen.

The location! It was really near the metro, the gare du nord, and the rebubligue place. The receptionists were very helpful and polite.

Staff were very kind. Wi fi connection was ok.

The room was very smaller than the picture. The bath was very small but was clean. Although it's near to the metro station you always should go to Republic square station to reach different place of the city. The location is not good at all; there are lots of homeless poor people around there!!

El tamanio de la habitacion es chico, como todos los hoteles asi de Paris.

tranquilo, buen lugar por el precio, alejado de los puntos mas turísticos pero como en todo Paris hay metro muy cerquita

Nie można było ani kupić,ani zrobić herbaty po wieczirnym powrocie z całodniowych wędrówek tym bardziej,że Paryż przywitał nas zimną aurą I tak bardzo potrzebny był ciepły napój przed snemj.Dostępny był tylko rano w czasie śniadania. To jeden mankament tego hotelu Czajnik elektryczny I woda to nie powinien stanowić problemu.

очень удобно расположен в 5 минутах от метро Republique, номер чуть больше, чем обычно в отелях 2 звезды, все очень чисто, дружелюбный персонал
