Located in Paris, Hotel du College de France is 210 metres from La Sorbonne University and 500 metres from Notre-Dame Cathedral. This hotel offers free WiFi and a communal lounge with a TV.
Score from 18 reviews Wonderful
This luxury 4-star hotel is just a 10 minute walk from Chatelet-les-Halles and the Georges Pompidou Center. It offers free Wi-Fi access and a buffet breakfast under the stained-glass ceiling.
Score from 255 reviews Good
This hotel is located in the Marais just 550 yards form Place de la Republique. It offers air-conditioned rooms, a fitness center and free Wi-Fi.
Score from 372 reviews Very good
location is perfect！You can walk to almost every tourist resorts，and bars and restaurants are around the hotel。staff is very very helpful！
Wi-Fi is good in the hotel lobby，but not good in the room
Cleaness, bed comfort, WiFi reception, staff friendliness
The first photo shows outside of the building is misleading. The hotel is small and in small alley way. Not the pretty building in the photo.
The location was fabulous. You can walk everywhere in downtown Paris. The area had lots of great places for a drink in the evening or a lovely french meal. The room was larger than standard Paris size - so you could unpack and put your suitcase away. Loved the shower - there was one!
The price was right for last minute.
The bed was ridiculous. A futon that had a big dip in the middle.
reception is really welcoming and helpful. Bathroom is superb. Spacious, clean and well-lit. The location is excellent, with many sweet restaurants around, and just walk distance to louvre.
Location, quiet room, helpful staff
Room too small,
Marais is one of my favourite areas in Paris and the location of the hotel did not disappoint. The precinct is drenched in art, culture, culinary delights, street entertainment, the Place Des Vorges (only within walking distance from the hotel) and to mention one of the many tourist attractions within the area. Cross the bridge from Hotel De Ville and you will find yourself at the Latin Quarter which consists of the Notre Dame, Saint Germain, Jardin Luxembourg and the list goes on. For those who having been Paris is the height of culture and sophistication and I recommend everyone to location themselves in Marais because it's so central. The Pompidou is literally around the corner from Rue de Archives and the hotel that is. At the end of the street you will intersect with Rue des Rivoli which is the shopping mecca/boulevard. And of course you are engulfed with the beautiful lanes wanting some of your attention at to engage in the splendours they have to offer.
My brother unfortunates was bitten by bed bugs and as a result he had an allergic reaction to it. As a result he has had to take antibiotics and apply an oral cream to treat the symptoms. It has been a week now and he is still covered in spots. That also occurred to me during our stay in Marseille. By the time we got back to Paris, I had to arrange a consultation with a local English speaking GP who prescribe me steroids in order to treat my condition. I was alarmed I have to say, because the doctor wash't at the time certain what had caused the reaction/allergy. It has taken me almost two weeks and i still have the spots although happy to say that they are finally starting to fade. As unfortunate as the circumstances are, the issue needs addressing.
Good location although a bit far from the metro station. But this was a good chance to walk and enjoy the nice atmosphere of Marais. Peaceful and in the same time near markets and cafes. Major sites are only 20 min away (by foot) We ordered double bed and the room had twin bed. Other than that everything was fine. The bathroom was huge and clean.
Good Bar and restaurant next door.Good breakfast but at 12euros a bit expensive.
Long walk to nearest metro station.NO coffee or tea facilities in room.Bottles of water and biscuits on arrival but none after that.
The area has a lot of nice, reasonably priced restaurants. It is a short walk to many nice sights. The breakfast was not lavish, but adequate for us. The people in the reception was very polite.
Close to many restaurants and shops. A short walk to the center of town.
The location was perfect for us: because it was 3 minutes from the place where my cousin lived. The park with ping-pong tables and playground is just the other side of the road.
It was expensive for such a quality of a hotel. Besides we'd been staying during autumn holidays and Booking.com sent us an invoice 400 Euro more expensive than it must be and without breakfast. The rooms are small and so dusty and dirty (see the photos).
Newly renowned bathroom.
Noisy street - sleep with your window closed.
Great location and good price in comparison to others in the region. Very clean and nice room and bathroom. Perfect for a short stay for anyone who wants to be near the Marais and Bastille. Loads of coffee shops and Patisseries nearby and great happy hours on corner of the street. $5 for a cocktail
You don't get a lot for your money in Marais - I paid £170 quid for one night in mid October. Room was pretty small but for one night it didn't matter at all. A little noisy with street sounds but didn't bother me at all. Air con didn't work very well but it wasn't that hot so didn't matter.
the location was great.
Is noisy at night because of the bars around the hotel. Wifi keeps dropping.
Family room 102 sleeps three - twin room plus a full bed in adjoining room so each room with privacy. Bathroom is clean and well lit. Towels in good condition. Tub/shower with good water pressure.
Common hall carpets need to be replaced or cleaned. No tea or Nespresso in room though promised. No body lotion in toiletries so pack your own.
Very good location Friendly staff Clean Good Service
Noisy street at night No ventilation in bathroom Picture in offer is misleading.Does not show the hotel but nearby streetview.
Location: near the Notre Dame Cathedral, Republic and Bastille squares and the Louvre Museum.
The coffe break it´s a little bit expensive for what its offer.
Staff were very helpful, I'd forgotten to print out tickets for a show and they did it for me without hesitating.
The location was fine, we knew it would be because that's why we chose it. On our second day a room with functioning air cond. was found, but whoever got our old room would not be happy!
Paris was in searing heat. Air conditioning in our room was not working (clearly had been faulty before we arrived) the hotel was full and it was the weekend. Apparently nothing could be done. I could not even dry my hair as perspiration was running down my face in the heat.
Staff were lovely and friendly and hotel room was great for the price in Paris. The Marais district is close enough to walk to sites such as Notre Dame or the Louvre and the metro is nice and close for those not wanting to walk so much!
Room was ok
Hair in the shower.
Location, good wi-fi, nice tidy room, friendly, service-minded staff.
Nothing to complain about.
Loved the location as it was close to Notre Dame, the Bastille, bars, cafes and restaurants, the room decor was lovely and the price was very good considering it was the height of summer. Staff were very friendly!
No iron, no kettle (which is a must for British tea-drinkers), the wifi in our room was quite weak so we had to sit on the toilet to get the best signal. The air-conditioning unit was dripping for the duration of our 7 day stay, which meant using our bath towels to prevent the floor becoming sodden. When we complained, we were given more towels instead of a different room. The dripping from these towels kept us from a peaceful night's sleep. During the room-cleaning, our things were being put back in our cases and moved around the room - would have preferred just to have beds made and new linen. Our stay was brilliant and I would definitely stay here again, but these were some of the things that may put others off.
