the lovely neighbourhood
no tea and coffee making facilities in the room
Stayed for one night before flying out. The front desk was amazingly helpful, efficient, and friendly. We were well taken care of for efficient departure the next day. We arrived early, so our room wasn't immediately ready, but it within 10 minutes a room was available. The hotel, in the midst of Montmartre, is accordingly old and creaky, but redecorated with artists' motif. Despite its small size, our room seemed spacious due to the good use of space for functionality.
the power went off at 9 pm for about 10 minutes...the front desk responded quickly and checked back to ensure that we had power again.
Loved the situation, loved the room, loved the fact that you could have free coffee, tea etc plus patisserie from 1pm til midnight-self service-very nice.
Very nicely decorated, very clean, excellent staff who cater for your every need
Breakfast is not included and overpriced for whats available
Loved monmatre area. Loved the easy access to gare du nord. We walked to and from the station. We loved the bars coffee shops restaurants and wonderful food shops nearby.
Absolutely lovely staff, perfect location opposite a tiny old cinema. Small but nice room, comfy bed, strangely calm and silent during the night, so you can have a great night's sleep before exploring the nicest neighborhood in Paris, the Montmartre.
Good location, wifi was fine, very clean, staff is at high level, all speak good english.
room is a bit narrow and there is lack of light on the ground floor. Parking is a bit far, but that can not be influenced by hotel management.
good staff, all very kind and helpful. good cleanliness and well thought out bathroom. good transport links two lines within easy walking distance even for those who have problems walking longer distances. VERY handy location for Moulin Rouge and Sacre Coeur! Loved that we paid after the holiday as it helped to manage the cost.
Our room was at the far back of the hotel which meant we were far from the wifi which, although reached, did tend to drop off if you moved further to the back of the building.
Cleanliness Helpful staff
few choices on breakfast
Friendly, helpful staff; clean, comfortable room; useful welcome pack provided on arrival (maps, wifi access etc); great location - all contributed to a wonderful weekend in Paris.
The bed was incredibly comfortable and the bathroom was suprisingly large with a very good shower. Yes, the rooms are on the small side, but in Paris all one needs is somewhere to sleep and change
We booked Superior double rooms, but were given standard rooms, had our friends not been allocated a twin room where the beds were head to head we would never have known we were in standard. They couldn't move us the day we arrived as they were full, we moved the next day and were given breakfast free. It would have been nice if they had moved our luggage for us. We also told them the batteries in the safe needed replacing, but they never were.
The welcome pack with a couple of metro tickets included. A few nice chocolates and some champagne in the room The location is great The room is smart, clean and comfortable You can have refreshments at any time down in the breakfast room
I have used this hotel for a number of years and I am wondering if over 390 euros for two nights for one person is too much. It used to be much better value but it came without the champagne and chocolates then.
A beautiful location, very central and still very quiet and peaceful. Lovely people working in the hotel
Cute little hotel, brilliantly situated about a twenty minute walk from Gare du Nord and in the centre of Montmartre. Small but clean and pleasant rooms, helpful staff.
The wifi was dreadful, kept cutting in and out once I'd finally got connected. I had hoped to FaceTime with my kids - no chance. Also 20 euros for breakfast seemed very expensive.
Location is perfect, English speaking staff on reception a bonus, Rooms beautifully equipped, with nice paintings of the area, Nice touch of English welcome pack with maps etc, and two Metro tickets to get started. Quarter bottle of Champagne waiting on ice for us on arrival a welcome surprise.
Wifi signal very weak
Great location and friendly staff
I imagine in the summer the rooms would be unbearably hot. Take ear plugs in case of loud guests as noise does travel. Apart from those 2 points it is a good hotel and we would go back.
Location, location, location. If you are a tourist in Paris, you want to be in Montmatre. Great cafes and bars around, Moulin Rouge is close by as well. And connecting to all the attractions via Metro is easy as pie.
The room was extremely small, very small bathroom, not great wi-fi, looks and feels like an old place that has lost its charm. The staff were abrasive and a little impatient.
Juliet, the receptionist ,made our experience very special. Nothing was too much for her. Highly recommended.
We missed not having the facility to make tea or coffee in our room.
Fluffy dressing gowns Complementary bubbly and chocs very nice touch
Loved the location, wonderful restaurants and atmosphere
The noise at night meant we needed to close our windows which made it a bit stuffy for us
A friend stayed here over a decade ago and loved it. Now I know why. Kind staff. Clean hotel. Prime area. And a general sense of really positive energy an Parisian experience!
Friendly staff, great location. Champagne and chocolate a lovely gesture
Room too hot at night, no air conditioning or fan. When open window could see into another bedroom. Also on opening window could hear activities in other bedroom!
Water provided for first day. Location in Montmartre is good and also near Pigalle area.
Water not provided on additional days.
hotel decor staff polite room ok
breakfast very poor in particular the quality of food it was poor you must improve the breakfast quickly otherwise you will lose customers. the bread tasted like cardboard no butter or margarine available initially. poor selection of food not what you would expect from french hotels probably the worst hotel breakfast we have had.
