On positive notes - the rooms were very clean and the breakfast was lovely as was the breakfast service and staff. The staff was helpful although there was poor communication between them. As an example, I had ordered (and used the service of) a taxi one evening and was called early the next morning that my taxi had arrived. Apparently their notes to each other were unclear so they woke me unnecessarely. Yes - there were a couple of things. (1) my room did not lock from the inside. I was assured that there was only one key and therefore nobody could enter while I was sleeping but this was not a satisfactory response. (2) The rooms are located in small alcoves - 2-3 on either side with a door off the hallway as an access point. Whenever an adjacent door opened or closed there is a huge bang in the alcove shared by my room and 2 others. This was loud enough to wake me and happened at all hours. |

Quality of the decor in the bedrooms - very stylish. Location very central in cool area of Paris. Happily booked our taxi to airport and we left luggage til 7pm which was excellent. |

Excellent location in historic areaso near to the fabulous Place des Vosges.Very quiet for sleeping. My room was dark( the ground floor room) & when I reported the bedside wasn't working I was informed they knew it was broken-nothing had been done & nothing was done still. |

The hotel was beautiful. Even though the rooms were small (not surprising in Paris) they were well designed and had beautiful decor. The beds were extremely comfortable - I've never had better! The staff were very nice and helpful. There were issues with the internet provider the hotel uses. The shower, while it had great pressure and temperature, didn't have a proper door so the water leaked out. It wasn't too much of a problem though. |

Very comfortable room, great location in one of the loveliest parts of Paris, pleasant helpful staff Room was very small - but that's kind of what you expect for a relatively cheap hotel in Paris |

The room was modern, newly refurbished with taste. Pictures on the hotel website are not deceptive, this is really how the room looks like. The location of the hotel is great We had booked a twin room, the size was acceptable for tiny Parisian standards. However looking at the plan of the hotel I believe we had the largest room on our floor. Other rooms might thus be really tiny. The room we had was room 45. |

Excellent location in le Marais, and very clean. Nice bathroom. Very poor breakfast area, and very dark lounge - uninviting. Staff adequate, but reception was not especially helpful. No late check out available, even on Sunday, and very disappointingly, no tea making facilities in room and no tea/coffee service available at night. I expect rather better service and facilities at that price. |

The design of the rooms was nice, friendly people, good beds, airco and shower. Of course, the location is best right near Place des Vosges. |

The location was excellent. The staff did not seem very familiar with the area and therefore not very helpful in recommendations. |

Stayed here before. Great location for sweet bistros and shopping in heart of Le Marais. Also near the river for easy walking to Notre Dame, the Louvre, the Bastille, etc. Rooms can be a bit small, but to be expected in Le Marais. |

I loved staying at this hotel despite any of the things I say later. The location was not in a typical touristy spot, though there were loads of restaurants and shops nearby. It as like living in the neighborhood. In the morning if I stayed late enough, I could hear the kids walking to school together. In the evening, everyone was coming home with groceries. There were a few minor problems. If you took a hot shower during prime time, you did not have hot water. I am not sure, this could maybe happen anywhere in Paris, though. Also, I was awakened several times by thick cigarette smoke from my neighbors wafting into my room (from under the door? |

The room though small was very well designed and good hanging and cupboard space. The beds were very comfortable. The location was perfect, choice of 2 metro stations and lovely shops and restaurants and cafes. Only criticism was the shower. With no lip the bathroom floor was apt to flood. |

The staffwho were helpful & charming, the position of the hotel in relation to La Place des Vosges, the fashionable updating of the rooms whilst maintaining the old character. We especially enjoyed the breakfast in the vaulted lower floor & appreciated the high standard of cleanliness |

Location, location, location! One of the rules of buying property is this statement and this Hotel definitely has this, this hote may not be up for sale but if it was it would be a steal at any price. Rooms were also clean and modern and the beds were big and comfortable. The rooms really need a small fridge and were a little cramped. There was no room service and as we arrived at 11:30pm the first night a sandwich would have been nice. Also the room was no smoking as was the hotel, I asked for a room that I could smoke in and was a little annoyed with the scenario I got. But I believe most hotels are non-smoking in Paris these days so I guess it figures. |
