Position in relation to transport. Breakfast provided. Cordial assistance from reception.
Cramped bathroom, but functional. Lack of tea making facilities in room. Confined area in bedroom. Passageways dull creating poor impression.
Tiny room. Very scruffy
great location, have stayed before
Paris Street Cleaners, although we need them..
Great location from the balcony looking over the streets and people wandering thru shops. Staff lovely
Fri/Sat night local restaurants going till 3 in morning.
Located near many of the top sites. Price was attractive.
Room was small and cramped. We spent an hour or so by car driving around the neighborhood within 400 meters of the hotel trying to find it in the labyrinth of one way streets, pedestrian paths, closed off roads trying to find the hotel. Finally parked illegally and went looking on foot. The bathroom was even smaller than cramped, with a very narrow tub. Had to shower kneeling down. Supposedly, a 4 star hotel, I would say a 3 star or even a 2 star.
5 mins walk from Ile de la cite and I asked and was given a quiet room
Very hard bed and, as usual for Paris, very small room.
It was a good location. Bed and bedding was comfortable. Air conditioning!
Very small room. Bathroom even smaller. Shower way too small. The shower curtain hangs on you while you are in the shower. The front desk person didn't speak as good English as I expected based on previous reviews. It was difficult to converse with him. Walls are very thin- you hear everything.... Babies crying, people talking, doors shutting, toilets flushing, etc. It wasn't the most romantic of settings. Elevator only fits one person and a suitcase, or just two people at a time. We were on the third floor, so we usually took the stairs.
Great location.. Cute rooms
No balcony .. Tiny shower
I loved the location. I liked two of the front desk staff. but one gentleman at front desk was a complete asshole. The beds were comfy. Our Suite was small, and I think we over paid for what we were promised. I would stay again, but not at the prices I was charged.
Front Desk Guy asked us to return the Iron at 2AM when we returned from a show at the Moulin Rouge. He said, "We really need it!" How freaking rude, and disgusting! This made me strongly dislike this hotel. Next day, after a day out exploring the city, our Iron and board was taken away. No notice. No questions. Reviews put this hotel as a 4 star hotel, but at best it's a 3 star hotel. How the hell does a 4 star hotel not have enough Irons for all it's guests? I was also very disappointed in the fact that my Suite "Suite Camelia" did not have a shower. It was a small bathtub with a long hose. For the price we paid for a Suite, I at least expected a shower. Good for couples and singles. but not worth the money we paid. Look elsewhere.
Location; most of the staffs are friendly.
Wifi is weak - didn't work in my room.
Nice, modern and clean hotel with 24hr reception, friendly staff and a central location. 2 minutes from the Metro, easy (5 minutes) walking distance to Notre dame, Pompidou centre, Louvre. Big choice of cafes/ restaurants/ bars nearby
no complaints, or negative experiences during my stay
Parisian decor in a central location.
hotel was clean and reasonable value for money in a good central location.
rooms were very small even by paris standards and the bed was tiny. Once you had laid one suitcase out on the floor that was it for space!
Excellent location with nice decor
The price is over rated
Although initially it was hard to find, it was in a good location.
The rooms were very, very small but still comfortable.
On the same street as Paris three famous jazz clubs. Walking distance to all great sights!
Staff were friendly and accommodating. Rooms were small but clean and reasonably comfortable. Perfect for a short city break.
The lifts could not fit more than 2 people at a time which was most inconvenient when traveling with a baby in a pram as you also cannot fit a pram. Many television channels to chose from but unfortunately no English speaking programs which was extremely frustrating.
The hotel looks and smells clean. Overall it looks well maintained with a modern decor. Staff were very helpful. The area is full of good restaurants and in the evening the whole area feels quite festive
Initially a bit difficult to find as in a pedestrian only area so does not front a main road. The rooms are small but they do the job.
location is fantastic - 1st district, in the heart of Paris quiet location - pedestrian area
Excellent location very close to the heart of city. The hotel is situated in a district full of restaurants and bars and therefore lively at night, although the room windows were well insulated and very little noise penetrated. The hotel staff were most polite, pleasant and very helpful. Everything was clean and tidy and generally well maintained.
The rooms are on the small size but adequate for a short stay. There was no drawer space in our room only one deep shelf, although our friends' room did have a chest of drawers, albeit with a smaller bed.
Location and staff was good. Breakfast was good. Rest 3 stars.
Very badly insulated rooms make for very bad nights sleep, even with earplugs! The first room I was allocated smelled of citrus detergent which was so nauseating, for the staff was kind enough to move me to a room with a window. Except for the location, it wasn't worth the 4stars rating.
Room was def not classic (ads we had upgraded to from the standard), Tiny attic room, had to kneel in the bath in order to use the shower (Classic - def not)
