The secure over-night parking was much appreciated and very efficiently organised. There were plenty of local restaurants in the suurounding area. There was rather a stuufy smell when we entered the room ( drains?) but this soon dissipated once the window was opened. |

We were a little worried when we first drove up as you have to drive through an alley but they more than make up for it once you step inside. Staff was wonderful, rooms and hotel fabulously decorated and confortable. Highly recommend! |

Excellent welcome and first class breakfast in a former 17th century post house in the centre of town. Saintes is an ancient town north of Bordeaux with numerous Roman buildings and artifacts. Just a shower and no bath in the en-suite toilet facilities |

This a quaint old building in good decorative order, providing us with a pleasant one night stop-over. In view of its location, in a narrow side street, I appreciated the secure garage parking as, without it, finding a suitable place for our vehicle nearby would have been awkward at best. The staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast good, and I would go to this hotel again. |

The hotel was right in the centre of town with shops, museums and historical buildings all close at hand. The buffet breakfast was good with fresh croissant, bread etc and plenty of coffee,tea,chocolate. The bath, although clean, was badly marked with the enamel worn away and chipped in places. |

have stayed here before and found it very satisfactory for stop over.staff now know us and have thanked us for continous support. the hotel has charm and is well located, the city/town of Saintes is very beautiful with a lovely river and old roman ruins small complaint the garage fee at 9 euros and dog staying in the room at 6 euros is a bit excessive. |

Les petits déjeuners copieux aussi bien servis en chambre qu'à la salle. Le décor et le confort de la chambre.L'amabilité des jeunes femmes de ménage. Le papier toilette pas assez épais (très désagréable!). Les patères de la SDB pas stables. Le voilage déchiré en haut de la tringle. Le balai des WC qui ne vas pas du tout avec le style de cette chambre (dommage!).Les jolies appliques au-dessus du lit qui n'éclairent rien, impossible de lire un livre assise dans le lit. Problème d'odeur d'égout quant il pleut. |
