First of all it is a good location in the corner of Boulevard St Michel and Boulevard Montparnasse. It is near to Les Closeries des Lilas and a jazz club. A Monoprix is next to the hotel and a small shop for vegetables and chocolate is open late in the evening on the other side of the street, very convenient. The RER train stop is ca 200 m away with direct access to Charles de Gaulle airport, which means no metro connection to bother with. The hotel recommends a bus to the airport which is double the price (a bit more comfortable, no stairs) but when there is heavy traffic it is not so convenient. Near the Luxembourg garden, and bus stops. There is a helpful staff and the hotel is not too big and busy. The breakfast is good. The room had nice curtains and decoration and gave a neat impression. I especially liked the colour of the bathroom. I had a room on the fifth floor to the inner yard which was very quiet.

Location was convenient to mass transit lines. By major RER line, good if you need to get to the convention center. Within walking distance to Notre Dame, Staff was nice and helpful. Breakfast was 9 euro per person, no more than you would pay at a brasserie, and a lot faster. Rooms were small but clean and comfortable.

We liked it's locale in Latin Quarter and convenience to public transportation. You can buy a 10 pack of single trip tickets at a kiosk above the Luxembourg metro stop. Only drawback had to do with one of the hotel's perks: The low rumbling of the metro is a bit noticable. It did not bother us but we did notice it. That being said however, the noise of the metro was no different than any other ambient noise one encounters in a large city. Good stay.

The room was very clean although small, however the bathroom was large, clean and modern (probably too big compared to the room size). The hotel staff were friendly and the beds are made daily. The best thing about this hotel is probably the location, right next to the Luxembourg gardens and luckily street parking next to Lux gardens was free due to the public holiday weekend. Air conditioning was a bonus considering the warm weather. Wifi was very fast and reliable. I've stayed in numerous Paris hotels and every time it is expensive and the rooms have been small so it is expected, the rooms here are also very small. It fits the bed and thats about it, we had a baby cot that would only fit if we rearranged the furniture. The TV signal kept dropping in and out. The metro runs beneath the hotel which I only heard one morning when I woke up early, otherwise it's not noticable. Breakfast wasn't included but we didnt eat there anyway, better breakfast for the same (or less Euros) can be found on Blvd Montparnasse or Blvd St Germain.

This a very good hotel. I chose it purely by the many positive reviews here. You do not get bad surprises when you arrive and during your stay. The staff is helpful and speaks English, except for the room cleaners who can be a little too loud at times. The room is cleaned every day and the bathrooms are immaculately polished. It is a good value for money and the location is just what you need - Latin Quarter and near-by tube/RER. Booking.com does not specify whether the towels are included in the room, well, they ARE included. I strongly recommend! Although the heating was on most of the time, I was freezing at night and even during those little minutes I stayed during the daytime to freshen myself up. I used the extra blanket, but because both of them were quite thin it did not help. Also, the tea/coffee facilities in the room wouldn't be a miss. Some people who previously had stayed at the hotel said that the RER train is just underneath the hotel, which can be very annoying sometimes. I agree, but I am a light sleeper and it did not annoy me, or even wake me up. It might be the case where my room was situated, which was on the second floor.

The location on the Left Bank and access to the Metro and cafes and restaurants was excellent. The hotel room was very comfortable and the staff very helpful. Double glazed windows meant that traffic noise was not an issue.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and cordial. The location of the hotel was excellent - right on the rer b line which made traveling around the city very easy. Although small, the shower worked very well and was nice to hop in to after a day wandering around Paris. The double windows facing the boulevard below did a good job at keeping the street noise to a minimum. For the price, the room was a bit small. However, we stayed for 5 days and were more than content with it. Also, being close to the underground rer train also meant that we could hear the train passing below at night. It wasn't bad, but for those that are sensitive to sound while trying to sleep, this could be problematic. It may be better on the upper floors, however. We were on the first floor.

The location was excellent, close to rer and LUxembourg Garden is just a block away. Rooms were clean, especially bathrooms which were new. Enough space for three people, the rooms are small but not microscopically so. The stuff spoke good English and were extremely helpful and nice. I would say that for the rate that they charge they could have included the breakfast or at least made it cheaper than 9EUROs. Other wise I greatly recommend this hotel and would definatelly stay here again.

This was my 10th city break to Paris, but by far the best hotel I have stayed in considering the very competitive rate that we paid. The Luxemburg/St Germain area was very beautiful and not at all touristy. Friends of ours stayed in the St Germain area and paid much more (almost double) for the same quality and service. We took a stroll through the beautiful gardens every morning to meet them. Transport links are very good for Gar Du Nord and all main tourist attractions. There is also a bus 85 that goes past most attractions if you feel like not using the metro and doing sightseeing while travelling. The lift did not work on our check out day and we were on the 5th floor. The reception staff did phone us and enquire whether we needed somebody to carry our luggage - so all and all a good experience.

Very convenient to get to my appointments. Generally a very pleasant environment. Lack of electrical plugs. I have to plug in a machine to help my breathing at night, and the only one (just) within the reach was the one the television was plugged into. Lift out of action a couple of times.

1. The room change was smooth as the hotel moved our luggage. 2. 300 metres from Luxemburg RER which has good fast direct conections to Orly and CDG. 3. Luxembourg gardens 2 mins walk 4. Latin quarter 15 mins walk and good for evening restaurants and bars 5. The offer of free breakfast because of higher floor with no lift. Some reviews have said breakfast expensive but my comment is that at the closest bistro 250 metres away a coke is 4.50 euros so 9 for a continental breakfast is not bad in comparasion and being accurate it is Paris which is expensive rather than the hotel out of step. We found breakfast sufficient to keep us going for most of the day and the staff cared about the presentation and the standard with more available if required. 6. For the price there are much better hotels in Paris but probably not if you want to be where it is located but generally I feel Paris hotels are not great value in comparasion with some other european cities so rather than not recommend the hotel I would suggest a different area as public transport is excellent. 7. We found secure garage car parking at under 6 euros a day 300 metres from a metro station: www.parisfrancegarage.com at 211 Avenue Gambetta 75020 Paris which was 15 mins away by metro from the hotel. 1. The lift was not working which funnily enough broke 30 mins before we arrived. It was meant to be fixed on our last day but when we left it was still out of order. I understand this is a common problem with Paris hotels saying there is a lift and then it not working. 2. Obviously with no lift lower floor rooms were preferred but it seemed we had the wrong type of passport for a lower floor room. French ones seemed to work best. 3. We complained and the management kindly offered free breakfast during our stay which at 9 euro a day each for 4 days was a nice gesture and moved us down to the 2nd floor on day 2.

Good location: Luxembourg garden, rer b straight line to Airport Charles de Gaulle (no escalator, no elevator, only stairs). Clean hotel. Supermarket nearby. No mini-bar, no refrigarator, no tea facilities. Every 5-10 minutes the building is slightly trembling due to rer passing beneath the building. However from midnight to the early morning rer doesn't function. Noise from neighbors is easily heard. Parking places hard to find on near-by streets.

The hotelnis on top of the RER train tracks, so you feel and hear the trains from 5 am to 1 am. The hotel is close to the RER but far from the metro. The hotel is a bit run down and could use a makeover. Beds were confortable. Breakfast is expensive 9 euro, you can eat more and better down the road towards st-Michel. Request a room at the back of hotel, the front rooms are on the boulevard St-michel and it is a very busy street.

The Hotel was conveniently located (literally a 2 minute walk from the rer direct to cdg airport) and close to lovely districts such as St Germain, St Michel and Luxembourg. We didn't have breakfast on site - found cheaper, nicer options locally, but staff were friendly and quite helpful, allowing us to leave baggage and collect later, etc. Rooms were clean, a little compact but fine for our needs - short stay. Not too noisy (only distant rumbling from the trainline below the hotel) and everything as you would expect to find it. Beds were comfortable, heating was warm and everything in working order. Would recommend to friends or visit again.

Great location, quite, close to the garderns & Panthoen. Also close to station to get anywhere particular straight out to either aiports. Grocery store 10m away which was handy and good resturants only a block away. Great deal with the double room 100e. Triple 170e. Considering prices in Paris it was good value for the room and breakfast would also been ok too, it did look good, our kids just dont eat much for breakfast.Request level 5 with facing the road, you'll get a little balcany and over winter it was great use as a fridge. Men were friendly but the lady wasn'T. Breakfast 9e for family of 5 little expensive so we brought our own juice, crossiants & jam all up for less than 10e. Paying 70e for a extra roll out in the twin room expensive. After requesting to be on the same floor we were on 5 & 6 which was ok but would been better with rooms next to each other. Lady said 'Not possible'.
