Parking not convenient had to park on multi-storey 10 minutes away
The location and the staff were great. We needed a baby crib and it was provided (and it was the first hotel crib the baby slept without waking up).
The entrance to the parking a little steep, you need to be a little careful if you have a sport car. Not the hotel fault, however.
Friendly staff and nice location by the city center.
Elevator was very small and the parking space barely accommodate my vehicle.
-Good location -Friendly personnel
-Pillows too soft -Allot of noise caused by train -Expensive breakfast -Parking (underground garage) not for large and/or low cars. Very steep slopes and narrow passages, no ground clearance = bottom scraping+damage! No warnings mentioned on website! Also expensive! -noisy air-conditioning
They had parking once you finally found out their location.
Their address does not come up on the GPS CORRECTLY and therefore we drove around quite awhile before we found it. Its front door is right on the rail transit line therefore we found ourselves driving on the line when there was a train on its track. Their signage is not very visable for persons looking for its location.
I liked everything about this hotel, from the helpfulness of the staff to the stylish but comfortable rooms. Location was fantastic, everything in walking distance. A hotel I would consider using again if I stayed in Strasbourg again.
Friendly staff close to town centre nice rooms good bed although the matras was a bit short
Secure parking (yes, a little tight, but fine with a Fiat Punto). Room not huge but comfortable for one night stop; good bathroom with bath. Decent breakfast. Good location, although next time we would ask for a room at the back as the trams in the street do start very early in the morning which is a bit noisy.
We couldn't figure out how to operate the air conditioning unit (apparently there should have been instructions in the room but they had disappeared). No room safe.
It is indeed in a good location, 10 minutes walk to the center of the city.
Was disappointed by the quality of service. First of all, the sheet on my bed wasn't clean. Also, we asked the people at the registry to call us (me and 3 of my colleagues) a cab. They didn't say they take money for it and during the check-out they charged each of us 1,5 euro for each day they called a cab. Personally for me such practice is decisive on whether to recommend the hotel...
really small elevator, we came with baby and straler and it was not comfortable
Very comfortable beds and super helpful staff. Excellent breakfast.
Car wouldn't fit in car park. Plug socket hanging off the wall.
The staff were always helpful with directions to different places in the city. When we had a leak in our bathroom it was attended to quickly.
The traffic noise that we heard from our bedroom. Also we would have liked a safe in our room for convenience instead of using the one in the office.
Room for three people although not sure I would have liked to sleep on the fold up bed put in our room. Our son said it was more comfortable than his bed at the local Uni though. Secure parking I have a large 4x4 so this was very useful. Location is excellent 20 min walk to the University. 10 min walk to excellent new shopping mall. Not forgetting a short walk to Petite France and the Cathedral Quarter with their excellent restaurants, architectures and riverside walks. Plenty to eat at the buffet continental breakfast( sorry though no fry up in sight) complete with scrambled eggs and a contraption to boil your own eggs although we did not manage to get our eggs to cook properly.
We have become accustomed to finding tea and coffee making facilities in our hotel rooms in the uk. Unfortunately these are not provided. I would advise you to take your own as we will when we stay here next time.
Pluses of the hotel would be its location - you could walk to the city centre within 10 mins, room size was good, the front staff was friendly and informative. The breakfast was surprisingly good too.
Room furnishings are old, parking is tight, and it can be a little loud if you have windows open. But these could be overlooked incase you are looking for value deals rather than luxury!
Rooms very comfortable Garage available Very close to city center
The location is excellent ! There is a private parking (don't remember the cost). Room is comfy. Wifi
Nothing except for: They blocked money on my credit card for booking the room. Then I paid by cash, they hadn't unblocked it,I had to wait a month to get money unblocked automatically
Nice room, somewhat cramped, but OK for one night. Reception staff very friendly and three-lingual. Parking in Strasbourg can be challenging, so making a reservation for the hotel parking is recommended.
Breakfast room was small and with low ceilings, buffet not very accessible, but quality of food OK.
Good location and value, nearby the city center. Very good breakfast for a 3 start hotel.
good location, close to petit france
narrow parking, not very clean room
Helpful friendly staff. Accessibility to old town
Good hotel located in excellent spot - easy walking distance to cathedral, La Petite France, etc. All staff were very helpful. Good bike storage in underground car park.
Rooms at the front are a bit noisy, but that is to be expected from such a location. OK with the window shut! Smallest lift I have ever been in - take the stairs if you can.
Location and room comfort.
The underground car park was very tight.
I liked the fact that we were given an isolated room, I believe in order not to disturb other guests since we travelled with our dog. It is well located, clean, comfortable and quite a nice view
The elevator was way to small to fit two people+luggage in, we were at the 7th floor and we had to wait for a while for the lift to come, the parking is very tight and we scratched our car a little bit, we were charged 15E although it could have been free because on Saturdays after 7p.m.and onSundays you don't pay for public parking
Close to the centre. Nice and clean.
Easy location and underground secure parking. Good room and breakfast with excellent service.
