Good choice for inexpensive short stay in convenient location. Facilities are functional, quiet and clean. Pleasant staff.
The hotel decoration was old and beautiful.A decoração do hotel era antiga e bonita.
The place where the hotel has many typical restaurants Pakistanis, Indians etc, if you like this type of food, this hotel is a good choice, now if you do not like, will have to walk far to eat a French food. You have to cross the bridge. Not have fridges in the rooms, hot room without air conditioning. The evening reception was not very kind.
Very near to the tramway and the subway. Private bath room
The location and the wifi, and some staff wasn't very kind.
Price was excellent. Reasonable size room.
The immediate hotel area.
Friendly staff Good breakfast (value for money) Not far from shopping areas and the open air Lyon Olympic swimming Pool
Not the nicest area in Lyon Some trouble with the bathroom plumbing, we had to change the room some noise
The receptionist was drunk!!!! He had a glas of vodka and couldn't make a full sentence. The location was awful, such a poor place.
The staff , mainly on the night shift, was rather unfriendly. We asked for pillows(!) and the man came with only one... We asked for the internet which was offline when we arrived. The man said he had done his best by turning it on again. If it did not work again, there would be nothing for him to do. The tv had no cable channels, none to watch the world cup matches. An important note: my wife and I speak a fluent French...
Location and it happened to be a quiet room. Value for money.
The position was handy to trains & trams, easy to walk to points of interest..
Room on front corner, very noisy, request room at back next time
It's the perfect place to crush for the night. It has nothing more than what you need.
the door locked at night. the fact that you have to ring to get in. parking place is 2 blocks away
A bit warm & noisy in the night.
Clean welcoming staff and very helpfull Price is fair for 3+ room
Hotel is very close the city center but the neighborhood is bad.
It was a very old and silent -not in a good way- hotel. Everything about it was ancient. Room and the interior design were a bit creepy and because of the silence in hotel and the neighborhood, we didn't feel safe. Staff were speaking very little English and they couldn't even find our reservation; made us wait at the reception desk for nearly half an our. Beds and pillows were very uncomfortable and room was cold. Last but not least WiFi wasn't working in the room.
Very poor internet connection, helpless staff. No one expects such service after paying so much.
the room smelt like an ashtray. the pillow was one long sausage, very hard, like sleeping with your head on a doorstep. staff were unhelpful when requested an additional pillow. the reception seemed ok, but the rest of the building was dire.
It didn't have hot water all the time. :-(
- wi fi doesnt work in the room - at nigh time they turn off heating, very cold - after 19.00 dont except any friends visiting you, the angry security guard will not let them through
This is a perfect place to stay if you only intend to crash for a night. The beds were comfy and the room was clean. Location is convenient for the tram and just a few blocks from the river and a short walk to Place Bellecour.
The foyer looked quite nice
Our bed sheets had stains, insects and cigarette burns in them. The room smelt musty and stale. The staff member checked us in after only a fleeting glance at our booking reference. No ID checking at all. Anyone could have walked in. The door to the back "courtyard" from our room was left unlocked when we arrived. Had we not checked it, anyone could have entered our room and robbed us when we left to go out. Despite costing 5 euros for 24 hours, only one device can use the Wi-Fi. The Hotel is in a very sketchy area. Did not feel safe at all. We were due to stay two nights, but we checked out after an hour and stayed at Best Western instead.
la sécurité est tres pauvre. nous sommes vole dans l'hotel. all the suitcases and bags were opened when we got back to the room, all things expensive were gone, including the luxury bags and Mac air, Ipad ,Itouch. i am so disappointed about what happened in the hotel.
The breakfast is very good, even though it doesnt have too many different things. The hairdryer is probably the oldest thats still working, and actually, everything there looks pretty old...
The hotel is not very clean, and the bathroom isnt comfortable at all, with no shower, just a bathtube, wich for me is terrible.
