We were suprised by how large the room and the bathroom were. It is a nice simple place to stay, very clean room, bathroom, and linens. We felt safe and comfortable.

Convenient location for tourist sites and provided city centre parking facility. Quiet. Room ok for one night, but hardly any storage space and no shelf or anywhere to put anything at all in the bathroom. Room decor a bit 'tired' looking.

This hotel is well situated in Bayeux and is an easy walk to the local sites downtown. Price is reasonable and rooms are comfortable. We would have preferred to have a lighter breakfast at a lower price available at the hotel restaurant.

I would not recommend this hotel at all. It was dirty and lacked any type of comfort for us. We have stayed at a few Best Westerns around France and found them very nice and in great locations. This hotel was not nice at all. It was rated a 3 star and I believe it should be a 1 star. The bathroom was horrible with the toilet in a closet by itself with no light! If you have any other alternatives.............do not stay here! The only saving grace was the women at the front desk was polite and helpful. Also, the breakfast was o'kay.

Checking out. The only positive thing was the location which made it easy to visit the D-Day landing sites if you have a car. The hotel room was shockingly filthy; drapes, carpet, and bedding were stained and in disrepair. The bathroom tile was moldy and the wastebasket was rusty. The mattresses were thin and lumpy. I was horrified and disgusted. The lack of air conditioning forced us to open the windows and the noise from the street, hotel "garden," and the omnipresent scooters made sleep difficult. The towels were also threadbare and discolored, and we found an enormous (size of a half dollar) spider in our room both nights despite throwing them out the window each time.

The staff was very helpful and extremely nice. Bayeux is a beautiful town with lots to see and do. A great hotel for the area. Near all of the DDay sights. We had a wonderful time!

Needed updating. No shower curtain or shower guard. Why not? Our room felt like we were in the attic.

Only the restaurant. It was very basic, Some of the staff were very dour and impatient. Bathroom and bedroom facilities were very old fashioned and not of a high standard. Definitately would not stay there again.

Comfortable room, clean and very relaxing. Staff were pleasant and the facilities were good. Smokers discarded their butts at the rear door which made it unpleasant to enter this way from the car park.

Location, close to town and handy for sight-seeing. Needs major modernising! Very clean which is always good, but rooms are from 1970's! Also, no tea/coffee facilities in room. Have to pay for parking, but we couldn't anyway as the car park was full when we got there. Felt hotel was expensive for what we got/didn't get. (Wifi was apparently free though, but didn't use it)

Good hotel, but like a lot of hotels in France they seem to be overpriced, (Is this due to the exchange rate we British get?). Car park charges, the way some people parked in the car park.
